John could not have been more helpful. We called him about roof concerns and he was out here the next day. He walked us through the insurance process and was very clear. Communication was top notch especially with the weather we have been having. The crew that came out was on time, professional, and had the whole job done and cleaned up in a day. I could not recommend them more! The entire process was seamless and our new roof looks great!

Jon is the best. We had an insurance claim for our roof. He handled all the paperwork which made everything so easy for us. Custom Home Renovations was the only company that would even work with our insurance company. The workers were very fast, efficient and I had no disruption to my day. When I remodeled a bathroom in the past, I ran into all kinds of issues. I didn’t realize how much skill and precision it really takes. An entire section of shingles blew off our roof and siding was damaged when a bad storm rolled through last spring. Jon ended up walking me through the entire insurance process and coordinating with the adjuster. We ended up replacing the entire roof and all of our siding. The guys he had doing the work really knew what they were doing. Jon and his team turned some unfortunate circumstances into a great experience.

I have had 2 roofs replaced (2 different homes) by Jon and his team and I can honestly say that CHR is by far the best. Jon went above and beyond to make sure I understood the issues I was having and explained the process to me so that I was comfortable with moving forward. My roof was finished in a day and it looks amazing. Jon and his team also handled everything with my insurance company and communicated with me each step along the way. I am beyond satisfied.

I worked with Jon at Custom Home Renovation and he was easy, very professional and a pleasure to work with. His company replaced a roof for me. The day of installation called for rain that afternoon. Jon assured me the job would be done before then and he kept his word. Highly recommend - Jon and team did an excellent job for us on our roofing and front siding replacement project. Purcell was particularly helpful in taking a thorough look at the siding/roof damage, discussing our options, and navigating us through the insurance claim process, leveraging his experience to coach us through the process and communicating directly with the insurance agency to help keep the claim process moving. They did multiple house visits and were on quite a few phone calls during that process.
As for the work itself, CHR's crews did a high quality job for a reasonable price. Our townhouse roof was replaced in less than a day, provided a quality roofing product and cleaned the yard well before leaving (no nails or other debris left behind). The siding crew also finished within one day, matched our existing siding, and did a thorough job on the finish work like flashing and sealing/caulking.
Overall - we are very happy with the end result. Highly recommend and they'll be a go-to for us for future work!

Worked with Jon and his team after experiencing water damage through our roof in multiple locations from a storm, and couldn’t be more please in their professionalism in helping us. They were hands on with working with the insurance company (multiple hour long calls) and always had our best interest in mind. Jon handled this as if it was his own home with care, urgency, and dedication. We ended up doing a full roof replacement (shingles) and internal repairs+paint. Once everything was figured out with insurance, his team completed the work in two days with no issues (they were quick and clean, even mopped the floor before leaving). I had my roof replaced and I worked with Jon, he was amazing. He walked me through the process, any questions I had he answered right away whether I called or texted him. The crew came in the morning and worked until late afternoon, they didn’t play. They took off two layers of roofing and replaced the new roof in one day. I am extremely pleased. My roof and gutters were in horrible shape and finally gave out after a windy storm. I was put in contact with Jon and he came right out to my house. After a thorough inspection, he explained everything to me that needed to be done. Materials were ordered immediately and work began as soon as the weather allowed. The team from CHR did a fantastic job replacing my roof and gutters. Jon made everything super easy and was wonderful to work with.

After a series of nasty windstorms, Jon from Custom Home Renovations made replacing our roof an actual pleasure. He came out and evaluated it, helped us with the insurance claim, even made a point of meeting with the adjuster on the roof and walking it with him. After insurance approved, Jon and his crew did our roof (~2400 square feet with multiple hips and valleys) in a day. They also replaced several damaged 1x6’s (house is too old for plywood roof sheathing), repaired our gutters and installed new gutter guards for us, which have been fabulous. And CHR did it all at no cost to me, as well as saving me money on my homeowner’s premium.

Even better though, he continued to check up on us afterward. When we had a ridiculous deluge, he made sure we didn’t have any leaks, and a year later, when our neighborhood got hit with a microburst, Jon made a point of checking out roof while helping our neighbors who had a tree come through theirs. Made me feel like a person, not just a customer.

TL;DR: Quality work by even higher quality people, can’t recommend them highly enough.

We set out to replace our gutters before winter set in. Custom Home Renovations and Jon Poe have worked with us , providing estimates, advice on sizes, finishes , composition , gutter guards and treatments therein, drainage options, appearance suggestions, product information, maintaince recommendations, things to keep in mind for future, code details, integrating with future projects and our juggling the gutter install between other contracts. During a big storm last year it began raining inside our main level and our basement. Jon and his team were crazy busy working around the clock helping others with storm damage but still came out right away to assess the damage and instantly knew what the issue was. They made sure to get our gutters replaced before the next storm and we have never had an issue since! Highly recommend them!!

CHR worked with me to get my roof replaced thru insurance and did a great job. So much so that when I decided to get my windows and siding done, I called on them again. Jon was very transparent and low pressure. Kept me informed throughout of any supply chain delays and scheduling delays due to weather. Custom Home Renovations installed all new windows in my house in November. I received 3 different estimates, and CHR’s was by far the best. The process from start to finish was seamless. The crew arrived around 8 am and got straight to work. All windows and one sliding glass door were installed by around 5pm. The inside and outside of my house were cleaned spotless before the crew left. I have already seen a significant difference in the temperature of my house since having the new windows. Would definitely use CHR for future projects.
