A bad hailstorm hit my property this spring. Working with John Johnson and his crew
made a difficult situation so much easier than it would have been if I had had to contract with several parties to get all the damage repaired to my roof, ceiling, guttering, fence, and deck , all damaged by the hail. John and his crews are thorough, professional, and friendly and do top-quality work. John is excellent in managing coordination with the insurance company. I highly recommend.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with JS construction, they flawlessly repaired our floors. This was a multifaceted renovation and they worked with us every step of the way!

JS construction was my insurances recommended contractor for repairs caused by water damage in my
Home. They estimated thousands less
than the other companies I had come out, but I stuck with them due to USAA recommendation. I was promised so many different things that were never done. All of the work, from
The repairs in the garage ceiling to the tile in the laundry room were done by the same two men, regardless of promises for specific specialist to come out to have things “done right”. They cut corners everywhere, and even asked me for 20$ and to “not tell
The boss” after they broke a valve in the laundry room. They promised to clean carpets and told me furniture would be moved (charged my insurance 300 for removing furniture). I have video footage from my cameras of the contractor telling the women to just go around the furniture. They pebbled the garage ceiling and left residue all over the door. They hounded me to sign paperwork stating they completed their job. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I can't say enough about JS Construction. I was so overwelled with all the damage we had after a really bad storm and the thought of having to find different contractors to take care of all the work that needed to be done just made me annoyed with all the sales people I would have to deal with just to get a fair bid. I just happen to be water my plants and John, the owner was checking in on his team that was putting a roof on my neighbors house next door was heaven sent. I happen to ask John if all he did was roofs and he told me that he did it all and all he did. He redid my entire hard wood floor on my upper level, re-carpeted, all 4 of my bedrooms, pulled up the carpet and put laminate down in my basement, painted 5 rooms along with the trim, widened my kitchen pantry to make it easier to get to items, and replaced some rusted blocks in my bathroom shower. Over my time with JS Construction, I grew to love his staff and enjoyed seeing them every time they came. I know that I will not use ANYONE else to repair anything in my house. The quality of work was amazing and the attention to detail and knowledge they had for every situation was inspiring. I knew that my most expensive asset was in great hands!

Wonderful service, professional and respectful. My project took around 6 months and during that time I never felt forgotten. They were flexible to work with my schedule. And, they worked directly with my insurance company to save me that headache and stress.

Mr Freddie did an AWESOME job laying my floor in a Herringbone pattern!! I was so excited I started screaming. It started Mr Freddie so he came back in to see...that those were Happy Long Awaiyed worth the wait screams!!

This review is long overdue. We asked JS Construction Consultants to do some work in our basement. They added an electric fireplace and a stone wall to give our basement a new look. We were overwhelmed by the outcome. It truly created a "family room" and completely changed the space. The basement is cozy and we enjoy spending time with our friends and family in front of the fire. The quality of the work is great and the staff was easy to work with and responsive to each request that we made. Because of the work that they did, several of our friends have tried to recreate the same warm and inviting area in their homes! Thank you JS Construction!

They came in to fix a a botched remodel job from a previous "contractor". The owner was sympathetic to our situation and worked with us to ensure we were comfortable with the process. He was communicative all throughout and came by regularly to personally inspect the work. The main person on the job was polite, professional, and did high quality work. I cannot recommend JS Construction enough! Thank you for giving us a great basement!

Needed a new roof because of hail damage. Lots of roofing companies came to my door wanting my business and gave me the salesman pitch. When Derek came by, I could tell he was into helping people and not into the quick sale. Derek kept me informed on the work that needed to be done and helped with navigating the insurance. Derek made this a pleasant experience! I have been very happy with the work and would definitely recommend this company.

I just had the greatest experience with J&S Construction. I don't think I've ever experienced a more professional crew of construction workers! They arrived on time, came in, completed a lengthy list of jobs in a short time, and left my house, I'm embarrassed to say, probably cleaner than they found it. They were polite and friendly, worked together like a well-oiled machine, and weren't bothered by all my questions (I like to learn as much as I can). I'm so thrilled to have had them come over. I plan to use them again in the future and recommend them without hesitation!!! ... Whoops, I think this might be a different J&S! Now to see if I can find the correct one...

Mike is the BEST! I called JS Construction after the roofing company my builder recommended failed to return my calls. Mike came to my house the same day I called, even in the evening after hours! He was very professional and thorough. I will be using JS for all my roofing needs and recommend them to all my friends and family!

JS Construction Consulting (JSCC) was listed as a preferred contractor by our insurance company, United Services Automobile Association (USAA). Our problem was a whole roof replacement due to hail, exterior siding replacement, interior ceiling and wall water damage due to a roof leak and converting a problem flat roof to a sloped roof to avoid future damage. JSCC met our needs completely, serving as the general contractor arranging and managing the various sub-contractors and trades. They analyzed the insurance adjuster’s report and worked with him to correct many inaccuracies, such as the grade of shingle being replaced, and the effect of local code changes on the repair, to enhance our coverage of the repair. Knowing the insurance company, they were able to submit supplemental claims in the company’s format for us as they discovered issues while working. This facilitated communication between us and the insurance company. JSCC’s management is excellent at communication, in clarity of plan-of-action, cost estimating, and in notification of when repairs would be made. We always had at least 24 hours’ notice and the crews always showed up. When crews were working, there was always at least one of them we could talk to if the need arose. JSCC can provide a full array of skills necessary to complete any home repair. We are extremely pleased with their work and plan to use them in the future.

My roof was damaged in a hail storm. Unsure where to turn, I went through my Home Insurance Company's website and they recommended JS Construction. I think when it comes to roofing, we are all skeptical, however JS has been in business for 10 years and lives locally. I was impressed. From the roof, to the gutters, the interior painting and window repair - it exceeded my expectation. John was proactive and did a great job of keeping me in the loop. I would highly recommend JS construction. I now I have them in my contact list in the event I need future services! John made a what could have been a difficult process, easy.

I contacted them through the BBB, and within hours had one of their reps visit to start the estimate process.

Sara and John and their team worked hard with us and our insurance to ensure that all damage was identified and ultimately fixed. The roofers were very professional and did a great job on both the roof and subsequent cleanup.

Bottom line, great professional company, expert workmanship, and an all around pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.

Toby JS Construction did an amazing job.... this was the first hail claim and I was facing many uncertaintys leaving me to stressed out!!!. Toby alleviated all stress. He walked me through the process so I knew exactly what to expect and delt directly with our adjuster ensuring none of the damage fell through the cracks. This process went unbelievable smooth and amazingly quick. Our roof, siding and windows have standing out alone in our neighborhood. Very Professional and cannot express how much we appreciated his work to get the job done !!! Top notch in our book !!

Great roofing company to hire for any of your roofing needs. So glad that we chose to use them for replacing our roof because not only did they do a great job but the whole process was really easy and totally respected our needs with having to work out of the house and having small children.
