I saw Jonathan's work and called to have same new window pane. He answered the phone personally, showed up when he said, and returned the next day with window pane. He called when he was running a few minutes late, which I appreciate because the luxury of sitting home waiting is not something I have. He's efficient, kind, hard working and young. I recently had my windows and patio door replaced in my apartment building condo. I organized a number of unit owners who also replaced windows and some doors and participated in the decision to use J&R and Jonathan for this project. The windows and door are beautiful and I watched the entire installation process so know how well they were installed. Jonathan and his team were efficient, neat, cautious (6th Floor), and reliable during the whole process. I was left with no mess to clean up and am beyond pleased. They did an awesome job repairing my sliding glass and hinged glass doors: the slider action is much smoother now and the hinged door closes perfectly without sticking in the frame. Jonathan was very responsive to my request for window glass replacement/repair. It started with a quick initial phone call and a follow up text with pictures of what I needed done and I was provided with a price immediately. He showed up the same day for measurements and returned in a couple of days to complete the work. Work was completed in a clean and efficient manor and Jonathan was extremely polite during the whole process.

Jonathan was great to work with. He helped find the right replacement window to match the others in the room and the installation including repair of rotted wood was done in a day. We will definitely work with him and his team again.

Jonathan and his team have done amazing work in my house. He has replaced all of my downstairs windows and some upstairs. They are all very professional, great communication skills, clean work and reliable. Definitely recommend them and will use them on the last 2 windows that I need replaced.

I called J&R at 9:30am on a Monday morning to inquire about a window repair or replacement for a 24 year old window. He asked me to send him a picture and immediately confirmed that he can fix it. He was able to stop by ad repair the window by 11:00am. Thanks for the prompt and excellent service.

My home had 25 year old windows that were drafty and cloudy due to the seals being worn out. John returned my call promptly and was at my house to look at the windows the next day. He explained my options clearly with detail and didn't give me a rushed sales pitch or try to talk me into doing unnecessary work (I had this issue with a contactor and another window store). The quality of work and fair price you get from a company that specializes in windows and installation was excellent. He and his team are extremely professional and polite. They treated my house like it was their own and were always available if I had a question. I actually learned a lot about windows through them and will be recommending them to my family next.

My screen door lock was broken and the screen was badly scratched up by my cat. I even lost my cat for a while (found her on the next door roof) a few days ago because the cat opened the screen door herself, without a working lock. I called J&R Windows and they came the next day, right on time. They were extremely professional, and finished the jobs super fast and well. They even went above and beyond and lubricated my sliding glass door as well. The whole process was so easy. I will definitely use them again!

I'm not one to write reviews but I felt compelled to write one for J&R because the work is well worth it. From day one, the entire process is made easy by Jonathan: shows up at your house on time, looks at the windows, gives you options and then provides you with a very competitive estimate. The entire process took about ½ hour (if at all).

Once the windows come, JR and his crew came over to the house and replaced, impeccably, all 19 windows in no time. There was very little to clean up on our part. The entire replacement process took about 8 hours.

Jonathan and his crew made the entirely process so easy I'm still scratching my head as to how they did it. I highly recommend J&R Windows LLC. I have yet to work with another company with such a high price/timeliness/quality ratio.

J&R Windows (Jonathan) exceeded my expectations when it comes to window repair/installation. My LR window has been clouded up for over a year with condensation on the inside. I finally decided to call to get quotes. Jonathan at J&R gave me a quote over the phone after I sent a picture and then came to measure 2 days later. He installed it 2 days after that. Needed the frames of some wood double hung windows repaired. J&R came out to do the job quickly, provided me with my options and proceeded with the repair at a reasonable cost. They also left the job clean and without mess.

Jonathan did a spectacular job replacing installing new sound-reducing glass in our windows in Manhattan. He also replaced the gaskets and balancers. This was done quickly and at a very good price. Our apartment is now much less noisy and we have to run our heater far less. He was professional and responsive and we're thrilled with his work!

John and his crew have been 3x to our very newly moved-in apartment in the freezing NYC winter dealing with every type of cold issues emanating from a 110 year old brownstone and very old windows that needed to be at first reinforced from the cold, then insulated and finally replaced entirely with brand new double panes in both the living room and bedroom...He was always every bit the highest caliber PROFESSIONAL! More than that even he has a great sense of humor, and is extremely RESPECTFUL of the spaces he work in with making sure all is properly protected BEFORE working and then CLEANED UP ENTIRELY upon work completion....
More than that: His work has made the difference in our ability to not only move our entire life to a new home in the winter over the holidays feeling warm and comfortable but also to be very happy even with the work needing to be done!
