JQZ Construction and Roofing

If you do business with JQZ, make sure that the job is fully complete before you pay them. Otherwise, you will have to pull teeth to get them to finish the job.

I contracted JQZ to replace my roof on October 29th. I gave them half of the contracted amount that day, and they replaced the roof. After inspecting the work myself the following day, I saw that one of the vents on my roof had not been replaced, so I contacted Joaquin to come back and replace the damaged vent per our agreement. He said not to worry, they didn't have one available before install and he would get it installed. He also said that he would take care of getting my permit requested through the city. That same day, Oct 30th, he asked for the for the final payment so that he could "pay his crew". Up to this point, Joquin had been extremely responsive to texts and calls so I had no worries about paying him the final amount and getting my job finished fully.

After the final payment, it took me texting him at least once a week to finally get him out on December 16th to replace the vent they never installed. At this point, I still did not have a permit set up for my residence. I then continued to message him week after week about when the permit would be set up and he kept stalling and saying he was going to need to have his buddy do it for him since he wasn't licensed in Westminster. I eventually gave up asking until I checked the Westminster city site last week and saw that the permit was set up under a different contractor name, but the final inspection had never been set up. I scheduled final inspection myself and finally put an end to this project, nearly 6 months after my roof was installed.

Definitely deserves 5 star rating !! Called them as i did with other companies to do my roof and were the only company that gave honest estimate for fair price and answered all questions i needed . Hired them and was not disappointed took no time to do my roof as other companies said would take a few days they did in a couple and with great quality !!! Thanks for the great work !!!!

This company do a wonderful job at our house he do the job so fast and the roof looks really good we are so happy to hired this company also they give us a discount for my father it's a veteran
