Getting a new roof is never a fun prospect. However, the people at Gardner Contracting might just be the best. They did 5 of the people on our street and after my insurance company denied my claim the first time they gave me alternatives and we ultimately got the insurance company to pay. I'd use Gardner Contracting again and recommend them to anyone that needs a roof.

Scott Meisenhelder, Project Manager was outstanding getting all the hail damage repair services coordinated. He worked with me through the insurance process with the adjuster and later on with the claims agent. I COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT HIM!!! I had my roof replaced, then gutters, siding, porch railing painted, as well as some window screens replaced. All this was done within one week. Everyone was extremely professional, showed up timely every day, sometimes worked more than 12 hours in one day, and cleaned up at the end of every day, even though they were coming back the next morning. Overall, outstanding job by Gardner Contracting. I've been recommending them to everyone I come in contact with. They are professional, communicate well, are dependable, knowledgeable, flexible and I will never use anyone else should I go have to go through a hail damage issue on my home again.

Exceptional. No other way to describe it based on my experience. Our main point of contact was Cole and he was thoroughly professional in every respect. He was prompt, responsive and helped us navigate a difficult HOA. He worked directly with our insurance company to insure our roof was replace properly. Cole followed up with us to make sure we were happy with the work. We left the home while the work was done and when we returned it was difficult to tell that anyone had been here, except for the new roof! While Cole was our primary contact everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional and responsive. I strongly recommend Gardner to anyone who needs roof work done.

We were put in touch with Gardner Roofing at the suggestion of our neighbor, after a hail storm caused damage that resulted in us needing to replace our entire roof. Scott was our estimator and project manager, and was absolutely fantastic. He was able to come out quickly following the storm, provided an honest assessment, along with an in-depth proposal for the replacement. He also took the time to fully answer our questions (we had many), and provide options as far as what we could do when replacing our roof. He worked with the insurance company to ensure we were able to get the funding for the replacement taken care of expediently.

Eric was our crew lead during the replacement itself - he was friendly, thorough, and communicative throughout the process, and everything was done in one day.

I was impressed at how organized and efficient they were from quote to billing. I was already stressed out and appreciated a no-pressure, all business approach.

Gardner roofing was great. We worked with Scott and he was attentive and helpful through the whole process. He went above and beyond in guiding us through the insurance issues. We contacted Gardner after a year of dealing with another roofer and not getting the work or communication we asked for. Scott helped advise us in this process also.

Great company. I went through my insurance company and they have a good reputation with the adjustors. They scheduled me fast and did a great job. They had to deal with no street parking and a steep roof, but they figured out how to get the job done. They work with you on color choices and work with insurance on recommended upgrades should you need one.

I recommend this place as a great all in one contractor for your home exterior needs & services. They recently replaced my roof & gutters, & painted my house with top quality materials. Had my roof replaced. Gardner roofing was very professional, Scott went above and beyond helping us understand the process. The day the roof was replaced the team showed up on time. Eric was the lead he walked around the home with me and explained the process. The team was organized and. Professional. They were a well oiled machine. Each worker knew exactly what to do. The roof was complete by 3 PM. From removing the old roof and installing the new roof. The crew spent time making sure my property was clean as they found it. Gardner did an excellent job replacing our tile roof, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality job from an honest and hard working group of people. Cody expertly and patiently worked with me and insurance for over 4 months navigating the multiple denials and stuck with me, even writing long letters and calling County officials to gain approval. Some neighbors had their roofs replaced around me, but I was surprised in the quality of materials used compared, heavy duty shark fin metal, class-4 hail tile and great attention to detail which set them a step above. The install process was great, Eric the site manager was a pleasure to have onsite and an excellent communicator. Also a rarity, the owner came on multiple occasions to review the quality of work and marked the job complete only after every last minor thing was attended to. Because of the hail last year, I've had a bunch of work done to my house and Gardner is above and beyond the best I've worked with. I cannot say enough good about them and the quality of the job, this is the company to go with for roofing.

Working with Scott and his team at Gardner Contracting was a pleasure! He was proactive in his communication and was waiting on us for responses more than we ever did for him. He was professional, always called and showed up when he said he would. We never had to wonder about the status of our project, he always kept us up to date.

Scott helped us be exact with the color of shingles we were looking for, even driving around our neighborhood with us to see how the color we were considering matched up with the new paint that we will also have done.

When it came time for the roof to be torn off and replaced, the crew was just as professional. We've had our roof replaced on this house and others in the past, and sadly, the workers trashed our yard and left debris everywhere. When the Gardner team was done, our yard still looked as great as it did before, and they cleaned up every single bit of debris.

Obviously, there was noise during the work, but it was as minimal as could be. The team showed up before 7 am to prep, and were ready to go at 7 am. They finished the same day and everything was cleaned before they left. Every time we came and went from the house during the work, the on site project manager gave us an update and wanted to make sure that things were fine from our end.

I hope it's a long time before we have our roof replaced, but when we do, Gardner will be the people we call to have our work done!

Larry came out to inspect my roof after a storm chaser claimed it was damaged. Not only did he give it a clean bill of health aside from a mark or two, he even helped clean the dryer vent while he was up there. He also talked me through different options of venting to remedy a hot 2nd floor. I’ll be calling them after the next big hail storm.

I highly recommend Gardner Construction as a choice for roof replacement. Scott handled all of the claims submission to my insurance. He made sure their estimate was correct and assisted me in selecting the best product and colors. The roof replacement team completed the job in one day and left the area very clean. This company is a precision and quality organization.

My first review ever - but highly warranted. I was referred to Gardner Contracting after a large hail storm caused damage to my house, roof, and property. From day one, Scott was prompt, communicative, thorough, and extremely knowledgeable in the ways of insurance documentation and representation. He assured me that working with him and Garner Contracting will get the house and property restored to prior storm conditions - and he delivered! Scott is highly experienced in weaving his way through the process of documentation and interaction with the insurance companies and really acts as “the face of the customer” when dealing with them. He was invaluable and his years of experience and knowledge is something that just can’t be overstated.

As for pricing, scheduling, and the work itself, Gardner Contracting was very competitive in a largely competitive environment after our neighborhood was struck by the hail storm. Their scheduling was quick and the quality (workmanship) was of highest order. I would, without ANY reservations, recommend Scott and Gardner Contracting for your roofing requirements. They do great work at a fair price. But, if you have damage and must interact with ANY insurance company to make things right, they are REQUIRED. You just can’t be 100% successful in weaving your way through the insurance quagmire without them. You will do yourself and your investment a disservice if you don’t utilize their expertise.

Gardner roofing did an amazing job replacing my hail damaged roof and sky lights. I had a leaking roof and Scott their Project Manager sent an installer out to tarp the leaking area that day to stop the damage on the interior until we could replace the roof. Scott was awesome and spent well over an hour taking photos and inspecting the roof for all damages. This helped with the insurance making sure that nothing that was damaged was missed. When they installed the roof they had a supervisor on site during the installation. I will never use any other roofing company again and highly recommend Gardner roofing. Gardner contracting was easy to work with from start to finish. Cole was professional and punctual with communication. I never felt like I was getting the hard sell or being left in the dark. All of my questions were answered. They finished the job as they promised within the timeline that they committed to and the work looks great. I had many quotes from a lot of different roofing companies and Garner wasn't the cheapest but they definitely weren't the most expensive. They did the roof on our neighbors place a long time ago also and it still looks great. The owner of the company came out a few different times during the project which was really cool to see. I'm glad I went with them and would highly recommend them to anyone else. Our job was on a commercial property but I would use them for my own home in the future.

Scott Meisenhelder with Gardner Contracting came out within 2 days of us calling in to the company to have someone come look over the damage done to our house after a recent hail storm. He was very thorough in his assessment and assisted us in filing a claim with our homeowners insurance. He has advocated for us to get more money from our insurance company to cover the full cost of damage done. He has handled all of the moving parts of getting us scheduled with different contractors for a new roof,
new gutters, garage door and paint, and limited our hassle in having to coordinate with different companies. Even though he's slammed with extra work right now, he's still followed up and personally came out to inspect the work that's been performed.

Certain aspects of the house made accessing materials much harder than usual and Scott addressed the issue readily. I appreciate his efforts. The crew at Gardner Contracting was awesome. Cody in sales did a great job of explaining what I needed, how they'd do it, and what it would cost. The repairmen were quick, efficient, and safe, which was important because they did the repair in the wintertime!

Since the repair, we've had no leaks, and they did such a good job that it doesn't look like anyone was ever up there at all!

It is too long of a story to tell. So I'll make it short. These guys saved me tons of frustration at a time when I did not know where to turn. I had a new roof applied by another company but still had major leaks from the roof. The other company came back and checked their work and said it was done correctly and it might be the hvac vent. Had an hvac company come and they said it hadto be the roof. Luckily, my USAA adjuster gave me Gardner Roofings name. The first thing they said was that they would not abandon me..WHAT? that just doesn't happen, but they stuck to their word. The value of knowing that someone is going to stick with it until they figure out and fix the problem is PRICELESS. They figured out that the cheapo builders put the minimum number of vents and the replacement vents were the wrong kind. They fixed the problem and I am forever grateful...

The August hail storm did a number on my roof and gutters, so I called Gardner based on a neighbor’s recommendation. So glad I did! My project manager, Scott, was super experienced and had worked for insurance companies prior to joining Gardner. As a result of his experience, he knew exactly how to communicate differences between his company’s estimate and the estimate my insurance company provided - and he worked with my insurance company directly when needed. He also worked with the gutter installer to schedule - and then reschedule when weather didn’t cooperate - meeting him on-site to ensure a change I requested was handled correctly. The entire process only took two days (roof on day 1; gutters on day 2) and I wasn’t even in town for any of it! Insurance claims are never fun but this one was 100% pain-free, thanks to Scott.

He went way over and above anyone's expectations. We are very grateful for all he has done for us. The install this week was right on time. The entire process went smoothly, quickly, finished in two days. Foreman and workers were polite, friendly and professional. Workers were very careful with yard items, moving heavy items out of the way. They picked up roof debris during high winds, even from neighbor's yard. Try to find a local roofer for six months and never did get anybody that I could trust
Chuck Gardner and his company did me a huge favor when they heard what kind of shape I was in, the town of Vail being very difficult to work with, especially with out of county contractors, it took weeks to get the permit. Gardner had to jump through every hoop, but in the end I got a beautiful job totally waterproof. Exactly to my specifications.
Can’t thank them enough!
