I had a terrible experience. If you live in attic apartment, talk to your landlord immediately. They removed the shingles and plywood as if no one lived in the apartment. Inside my storage spaces, i have 4 all cracked filled with black dirt. All of my things was extremely dirty, also they made new holes in the infrastructure of the home. As they banged so tremendously and all dust came into my home all my coat (10) filled with black dirt. I felt like i was in a coal mine in my house. They came to fix a few holes, the manager said we are roofers not people who plaster. I was disgusted. As a professional person if you know that you are going to do alot of banging on a older wooden house things will begin to break. My landlord had to come to repair the rest of the holes because the declined to repair 3 holes. Also, we have to have a post construction clean from the cleaning service, to clean the ceilings and the walls, clean the bathroom, living room and bedroom. My whole house if fill with dust. I have cried for days. I had no notification they was coming. I work from home and dont leave the house often. I am really devastated about this experience. Also when you have issue, no one understands English. If you see this sign on your property and your on the top apartment call immediately your landlord because all of your belongings and your home will be completely dirty.
