We had FX replace the gutters on a large garage building and they were prompt and professional throughout the process. They offered the best price out of three estimates we received. The owner explained the work and the type of gutter guards to be installed. They arrived on time, finished the job within a few hours, and left the area clean.

My brother found Esteban and his company after doing some research for both a roof replacement and a gutter replacement on our very old home in Elizabeth, NJ. Esteban was really great and answered all of our questions and concerns before the replacement and addressed anything we had issues with during and after. He quoted us a reasonable price and did an amazing job that took only about a week. Our house had an old clay tile roof and a lot of rotted wood along with 2 chimneys that needed to be rebuilt/ taken down so I imagine the length of time would be shorter if we had the typical roof shingles. All and all, a very good job and will likely work with FX Home Remodeling again for other home remodeling needs.

Very satisfied with the job FX Home Remodeling did at my property in Maplewood, NJ. Esteban and his team completed a whole roof replacement, gutter replacement and gutter guard installation in less than 2 days. They removed existing shingles and nails on the wood deck and replaced all leaking and damaged plywood. They installed Storm Guard premium leak barrier at all roof eaves, pipe flanges, dormer walls and around my chimney. They installed Deck Armor premium underlayment from GAF on entire roof deck and shingles Pro-starters from GAF at all roof eaves and rake walls. They installed new pipe flanges on all vent pipes, new vent system and new caps over the vent system at ridge. For my chimney they removed and replace all existing step flashing and counter flashing, and installed new counter flashing using the cut in style installation. And for my gutters they removed all existing gutters and leaders and installed new seamless gutters with conceal gutter hangers and installed aluminum gutter guards over the new gutters so I’ll never have to pay for gutter cleaning again! I also had them remove and replace a gable vent on the front of my house. And this all came with a 20year warranty on their workmanship and that is in addition to the 25 year manufacturer warranty from GAF.

They didn't use a dumpster like other roofers because they were concerned about scratching up my driveway. Instead they used a modified dumpster on truck wheels which they drove up our driveway. Their cleanup was thorough and they ran magnets to pick up metal discarded metal pieces.

I was very impressed and can’t recommend them highly enough and their overall price was lower than other quotes I received.

He is very professional and very knowledgeable. In my opinion they are the #1 in Union County when it comes to roof and gutters replacement. They did the whole roof and gutters in just two days. After each day, they cleaned all the debris around my house. I am very impressed with the mechanical carrier attached to the steel ladder that brings up all the materials and equipment which saves time and effort to finish the work on time. The price is fair considering he has seven workers plus Esteban and his brother. He has two big vans, a pickup truck which is also his office, and a big dump trailer. I used FX Home Remodeling for a roof leak. Not only were they on time, professional, and quick, they found some additional problems and fixed them without any extra charge. They worked into the evening, long past when they expected to be finished based on the initial assessment, and then took the time to make sure the job site was clean and tidy. They spent close to an hour walking the property to make sure there weren't any roof nails or extra debris littering the area around the house. I would use them again in an instant, and will probably give them a ring when the full roof needs replacement in a few years time.

I had leaking into my attic due to eroded roof cement around an exhaust and when I called, Esteban was very responsive and came out to the house in a few days. He and his colleague did a great job and also inspected some other areas of the roof to see if there were additional issues. He followed up a week later after days of rain to make sure everything was ok and no additional leaking had occurred. I was very appreciative for the follow up. Its been about a month since Esteban and his crew did my roof and gutters and its also been about a month since he's been ignoring my text messages about replacing a piece of equipment that he installed on my gutter. Literally days after they replaced my gutter, a small piece fell off and I immediately texted him about it. He promised and told me that it would get done week, after week, after week. It's been roughly 4 weeks now and he has still not showed up. He promised me about his worry-free warranty that if something happens with their work that it would get done with no additional cost. I sternly won't recommend his company because when it comes to fixing something that they did wrong, it's back stories after stories and it's extremely difficult to trust a contractor like them

Esteban from FX was a really nice guy from beginning to end, and when I told him my budget he was able to work with it from the beginning and nothing ever changed from what he quoted me. He was very honest and caring, and in the end thats what made me select his company. I had a huge tree hit my home so I contracted him for a new back roof, beam repair, new siding, new gutters, multiple new windows, window casing for bathroom window, insulation in 2 rooms, new walls in those rooms, and painting. It was a big job! He even took some old satellites off my house that were there from before I moved in that I had wanted off for a while.

The quality of the work was superb and I trusted him throughout the process. Everything truly looks very nice and im happy that i chose this company out of many other options. His workers were also nice and friendly as well and they were respectful of my house when working inside. Everyone wore masks the entire time while inside and that was a major detail that I noticed.

The only small issue I had was not following through with timely response when I would text or call and sometimes the abrupt scheduling of work days. He always did eventually respond and he was able to be flexible with scheduling days if it didn't work for me. Even with that being said, I never felt like he was just not going to come back and finish the job lol I knew it would get done and that I was not the only client.

If you need good quality work I would definetly recommend this company. I plan on using Fx again for future projects that I have in mind.

We recently hired Esteban and his team to replace our roof, deck, gutters and some siding. After a large tree fell on our home during a storm, we were in need of all these things and were so fortunate to find Esteban. He is incredibly knowledgeable - he knew the thickness of plywood used for our old roof just by walking on it. We appreciated most that he gave us his honest advice and opinion. He and his team work at lightening speed, but produce high quality work. I am completely in awe of our new deck - it’s just beautiful. All our neighbors took pictures of his truck after it was done because they want to hire him as well! While I’m not thrilled to have had a tree fall on our house, connecting with someone like Esteban has been a great trade off. We are looking forward to him helping us with future projects.

Given all the projects being done these days it’s not easy to get a quick response and a date for an estimate, or even have a roofer do a small project. FX remodeling installed a drain and drainage system in our yard to manage excess water in our front yard and to relocate it to the back yard. They replaced gutters and installed a fence. Esteban was responsive, courteous and prompt. His crew was also very professional and very courteous. Throughout the process, Esteban would recommend various things along the way to make the drain better/more effective. He also made suggestions for vents to be added to the soffit under the gutters and they have helped with ventilation and humidity in our second floor.
