After the first repair I paid John in good faith. After 2 additional attempts the roof is still leaking as before. John then blocked me from contacting him. I reported this to my local police department . Two days later I received a text message from John offering a 4th repair attempt, which also failed. His incompetence is astonishing. We will most likely end up in court to recover my money.

I was having no response from other roofers when there was water dripping in the crawl space over my bedroom. John not only came up quickly, he treated situation with the same concern that I felt. The team needed to return several times to solve the mystery, covering the area of roof with a tarp between trips. They found the leak around a vent, replaced and sealed it. I will definitely have them return to have a roof inspection and complete any work the next time it is needed.

John did a great job fixing my roof. Many other roofers quoted much higher and wanted to replace the entire roof, but John came up with a creative and affordable solution. I live in Canada and it was easy dealing with John across the border. Highly recommend John Eager Roofing.

Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
