I called JK and they came out a few days later and gave me a quote for the top of my house. It was on par with other quotes I had gotten. I had already painted the bottom and the equipment I had didn't go to the top. They came out on the date we agreed upon and set up shop.

The guys were super nice and respectful, they asked before they did anything around the house to make sure we didn't mind. The work was completed in a few days and it looks fantastic. Andrew and Miguel were a pleasure to work with as was the guys painting.

JK Paint was my choice for repainting my wooden window exteriors. They were upfront and clear about the limits of what they can do with windows from 1945, and I really appreciated the honesty. I had to reschedule a few times and never had to deal with any negative responses about it, they were very professional at all times. We got a couple of bids from different painting companies, but were so impressed by Isabel when she came to do an estimate for us, that we checked their reviews, then chose her company for our house painting job. The communications by email and by phone were always great, and the crew who came each day were always polite, friendly, and very competent! We had a young man come to do the house power washing the first day along with a crew manager who assisted him, and he did all of the work within a few hours, and did it well. On the second day, a crew leader plus three young men came, and the four of them began the taping off the many windows starting in the back, including those on the second floor which are rather high, the doors to the house, the garage doors, fireplace chimney, plants near the house that couldn't be moved, as well as the hose holder and other items to avoid getting any spray paint on them. The front and back decks were also completely covered with their special paper, and they stayed free from paint and intact even with the light rain we got Wed. morning. On that same second day of painting, there was a crew of five who came to finish up the spray paint and trim paint work, and they placed even more plastic coverings before the trim painting was done. I had my car outside two car lengths back in the driveway so that they could get to the garage electrical outlet if needed, and I found that even found IT had been covered completely with plastic sheeting to avoid any spray paint getting on it even from that distance!! I was SO impressed!! Any missed spots were taken care of well! The care given to do an excellent job was very notable, and when they had finished all of the work, they cleaned up well with all of the padding and protective paper bunched up and placed in garbage bags. We asked for the rest of the paint and they left that for us to use for any future touch-up needed. We thought Miguel, Ramon, and each of the other four young men who came, did an outstanding job, and we would highly recommend them for this work! I made homemade chocolate chip cookies and gave them each a bag before they left. They seemed to really like them!! When Miguel came the next day, I gave HIM a bagful also of the cookies plus a bag for Isabel when he went back to the office! Only the best of the best workers get my wonderful chocolate chip cookies!! And they were the best! Thank you, JK Paint Company!!

JK was recommended to us for our exterior painting, and they did not disappoint. We were pleasantly surprised when they provided us with a complimentary color consultation before the painting process began. We had already picked our preferred paint color but Lindsey was a huge help in deciding on the perfect trim and door colors. The painting crew was supervised by Uri and Ramone, the paint lead, and the crew were friendly, professional, efficient, on time and hard working. We needed window trim replaced in a couple of areas and they matched up the replaced trim pieces perfectly with the existing trim. They finished a day ahead of schedule and cleaned up afterwards, leaving no trace except the left over paint cans, which we appreciated. After the job was finished, Uri performed a walk around the house with us to make sure everything was appropriate and that we were happy. Needless to say, we were! We took out a brick hearth and an entire wall and chose JK Paint to texture and paint two walls as well as a very complicated stub end filling of 6" x 8' gaps in the dry wall. The crew they sent were valuable is so many ways.

The crew from JK put the final touches on our interior painting yesterday and then did a very thorough cleanup. Davis did our initial bid and was extremely patient with the numerous changes we made. David was our project manager & came by on the first day, responded quickly to a concern and made a final visit at the end to be sure we were satisfied & brought us a nice gift bag. Domingo & his crew of 2 others always arrived on time, worked incredibly hard and were always thoughtful in leaving us access to our kitchen at the end of their day. They took great care to protect our furniture & floor and put everything back in place when the painting was done (even smaller pieces that we could have moved later, so that was a big bonus!). The Fernendez brothers from JK Painting came to paint our front door today and help with a hard to reach spot in our kitchen. They were professional, kind, great to work with, and quick! They made sure to clean up everything as they went and not one drop of paint was spilled. I would recommend them to anyone! We are already thinking of our next job.

Joe responded very fast and was very communicative which is a huge deal for me (I’ve worked customer service…). They were able to get me scheduled pretty quickly, which was great considering it was around the holidays.
When the painters came they were very kind and answered all of my questions.
There were a few spots where I had to ask them to touch up (which they did and were very kind about it!) and any I found after they left I was able to touch up myself. I had them paint a creamy white so I totally understand not being able to see where touch ups are needed.
The ONLY thing I was a little annoyed about was that there were a decent amount of tiny dots of paint splatter on my light fixtures and my wood floor. I was able to remove if not all, most, of the splatter but it was just a little annoying for me to scrape it all off.

Edit: JK contacted me and was very apologetic about the splatters. They definitely went above and beyond with their apology! I was already thinking about hiring them again but their response to this has made me definitely want to hire them again!

It was about a 4 day job including the pressure washing, prep and quite a bit of work needed on our front door. We had some interior painting done about a week ago and it turned out great. The whole process was seamless, from the bid with Davis, to the final walkthrough with Brett, the project manager. One especially valuable aspect for me was JK Paint provided a complimentary consultation with a designer who helped me choose my colors. In the past, when I've had to choose colors for my home, it entailed many trips to the paint store to pick out paint chips and purchase paint samples to try out on the walls. Working with Lindsey, I was able to move forward with confidence that the colors we chose were going to achieve my design goals without having to go through a long process of weeding out colors that wouldn't work.
Our painting crew came in ready to work on Monday and completed the job in two days. In the past, we've had painters take more time to do less square footage (and with less quality work) in other painting projects, so we appreciated the skill they brought to the table. When they finished, the area was thoroughly cleaned up and off they went. Since my husband and I were home during those days, their diligence allowed for minimal disruption to our lives.

My experience with JK Paint could not have been better and I recommend them for any job you might have. I have had a lot of experience with all types of contractors and other remodel professionals. So many times, you run into those who overcommit and underdeliver, who don’t meet promised deadlines, who don’t even show up when they say they will. It can be so frustrating. NOT THE CASE WITH JK PAINT! The estimate process was efficient and quick. The estimate itself was fair and reasonable compared to other estimates I received. Once I accepted, they had a team on site to begin work right away. The team was very thorough and hard working. They sometimes arrived as early as 7am and kept working until after 9pm! They took the time to do very detailed prep work which is the key to an outstanding paint job. They were careful to cover all of my stuff well so that there was no damage to other items in my home. They took the time to ensure my paint job was best in class. Throughout the project, Monica – who managed my project – was in frequent communication to be sure I knew what to expect and to be sure I was satisfied. This company also has a lot of thoughtful touches – a thank you simply for getting an estimate and a thank you at the end for giving them the project. JK Paint was one company I never had to worry about and that continually surprised me with their level of customer service. They were on top of every element of my project from the beginning to the end. I cannot recommend them enough! Ok wow! I’m just about over the moon at how awesome our guest bedroom looks! We had done some attempts to repair the many holes and damage marks before the team arrived, not really sure what to expect on what they could do for a room that had been a well-used play room for many years. Honestly, I was feeling a little skeptical that a fresh coat of paint would be enough to refresh the room. Im so happy with how it turned out-they repaired the texture of our walls, the edges are clean, the trim is neat, and the color is so evenly applied.
Before the team even arrived, communication was easy and consistent and super friendly!
JKs team was quiet, tidy and thorough- they didn’t leave any paint droplets or track anything in. I will happily seek this group out in the future.

JK paint did a fantastic job painting the exterior of our home . When my husband and I purchased our home we knew we wanted to eventually get rid of the green exterior paint.
I am an anxious bee and when the paint went on, not going to lie, I was very nervous and scared that I made a huge mistake! but the crew on site were very patient with me, gave me lots of reassurances which helped me not make any rash decisions.
My front porch was redone as well, and I couldn’t love it more. Someone painted a dark red over that beautiful wood that’s now flourishing.

JK Paint & Contracting painted the exterior of our home June, 2022. From the first contact to request a quote through the review of the finished project, everyone was courteous and professional. The quality of their work was outstanding and not only would I recommend them to others but I would also gladly use them on other projects.

From our original estimator (Davis) to the project Manager (Monica) to the onsite crew lead (Armando), JK Paint took care of our exterior paint job with great professionalism, quality and service, and fair pricing.

While the extremely record-setting wet Spring created scheduling challenges, they communicated throughout and made sure everything was done well.

They also communicated (and showed) when they found some minor dry rot issues and were reasonable in change order costs for these repairs. Another great team member (Sergei), who had excellent siding contracting repair skills, did a great job replacing several siding pieces and trim.

It all wrapped up with a final day walk-around where Monica and Armando worked to make sure every minor detail was taken care of.

JK Paint painted the interior of a home we had purchased that desperately needed fresh paint and some settling lines in the ceiling repaired. They sent a team of four who worked steadily and professionally. This home has very tall sloped ceilings with lots of canned lights as well as lots of wood trim and doors that needed to be taped off. The estimator was able to give us an estimate from the room layout map given online from the real estate agency and set us on the schedule just a couple of days after we were to close on the house. That made everything convenient and saved us time. The end product is absolutely beautiful. A great experience. Highly recommend them.

Very responsive and professional. We chose them because their prep included repairs for damaged/dry rot woodwork and other companies exclude that. They gave us locations of painting jobs they had completed and also references to call for recommendations. They were on time, professional, thorough, and stayed to complete touch-ups to our satisfaction. We had our front door insert replaced after the house was painted and they agreed to return to paint the new door after it was installed. The project manager was very proactive in arranging the follow-up and the finished job looks great. Highly recommend JK Painting!

JK Paint submitted a competitive bid - not the lowest and not the highest. They were on time, polite, paid attention to details and asked questions when they needed guidance. We are quite happy with the job they did for us. We have rounded corners and had three different paint colors, they did a great job cutting in the corners. We also had them spray paint a barn door and they took it to their shop and did a nice job on it.

Jk has been such a pleasure to work with. They check all the boxes, they are Professional, efficient and everyone is so kind! They are one of the few painting services that have an in house designer that will help with decisions. That makes all the difference when making such big decisions. Would recommend to anyone!

JK Paint worked in conjunction with Sister Siding to update my daughter's 1950's house. Lead paint remediation was needed before the siding could be replaced and safety procedures were thorough. Painting started immediately after the siding was replaced and was professionally completed in just a couple of days. Any spots needing attention found during the final walk-through were remedied promptly. We really appreciated the open lines of communication and the desire to ensure that we were completely satisfied with their work.

Davis came out for the initial walk around the property, listen to what we intended to do, and he gave us an overview of the process. He was very thorough, clear, and answered all our questions. He followed up with a detailed quote and included references we could contact. We did call a few and all were very positive. The project started on time with Hector and his crew. They were very friendly, organized and worked hard with prep work and paint to keep the project on schedule. They were delayed by the wether, but they came back to finish the work. Once all done, Hector gave us a walk around the entire house to see if there were any additional touch ups needed, and to make sure we were pleased with the work. The house looks fantastic, and it was a pleasure to work with a company that did exactly what they said they would do. The entire work went very smoothly, and I would recommend JK Paint without reservations to anyone looking to repaint their home.
