James was prompt and reasonable priced. He did a flat roof repair about 3 years ago.

Remembered him and called him about annoying leaks in my sunroom. Hey took care of it and we are very happy.

Had a small leak in my roof, called James and he responded quickly. Arrived on time, very friendly. While inspecting my roof, he noticed some of my shingles were not sealed properly. My roof was only 7 years old, and James felt the shingles weren’t that old for this problem. He assisted me with photos and replaced 2 shingles on my roof, so I could file a claim with the shingle company, which is pending at this time. James customer service is outstanding! Always responded to my text and emails. I will used James Neill roofing again, and highly recommend his company. Thank James.

We had a branch fall on our roof, and James was able to repair the damage the same day we called. He asked for photos, looked up the house online, and quoted us a price before arriving. His quote was less than half that of another company, and he honored it to the penny. While here, he offered great advice, including how to maintain our roofing for the long term. We were very impressed by his professionalism, friendliness, knowledge, and quality of the repair. He even left us a bit of extra roofing and showed us how to use it, so if another branch falls we can repair small damages ourselves. That's a level of customer service you rarely find, and it's why I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for any roof repairs you have.

The review is for some repair work that was done some time ago, sorry for the late review. James did a great job installing some drip edge, in addition he removed a dish antenna. The dish removal seemed like a simple job. However, the job was more complex and it required more time and effort, James got everything done and was very professional.

I recently purchased my first home. I quickly found out that I had a leak in the chimney, brought to my attention by a constant tapping of water on the metal inside the chimney while it rained. I called James and within 24 hours I knew what was causing the leak and how much it would be to fix. A few days later and the repair is complete and I'm no longer checking the weather forecast every hour or so. Amazing company and customer service.

Our fireplace had been leaking for some time but I didn't know where to start to get it repaired- was it a roof issue or a chimney issue? James (or as I see now, Tony) was quick to reply to my request for an estimate and called/ texted/ showed up when he said he would.

He provided options for repair along with not only photos of my chimney top but a neighbor's for comparison. There was no pressure to hire and no attempt to sell me on repairs that weren't needed.

Tony was respectful of our home and is an animal guy which is important when you have a 145 pound Ridgeback. He's an incredibly interesting guy if you're so inclined to chat with him- reminds you that sometimes contractors just might pick you, not the other way around.

Mr Neill repaired my rotting, leaky chimney and chimney cap. He tore down the entire chimney and rebuilt it and replaced the chimney cap. The chimney looks better now, than it did when the house was brand new.

Mr. Neill also repaired the dryer vent on the roof. The roofers had not given me a vent with the metal closer. Animals could have gotten into the attic. He had to remove and replace shingles in order to into the gooseneck dryer vent that was up to code.

Was fortunate to find experienced roofer who diagnosed chronic roof leaks that had caused structural damage. He documented the damage with numerous photographs; completed all repairs at a reasonable price and in a timely manner.

One year old roof, installed by another company, began leaking. I am second owner and there is no workmanship warranty, so I desperately began searching for someone to help. I have used Tony’s services for over 15 years and I have had some repairs/projects that were very complicated and required a good deal of planning. His work is excellent! He just finished rebuilding the three sides of my chimney, all the roof around it and some structural work. There was a great deal of wood rot and the whole area is solid as a rock now.

I found his company online and to be honest I did not have lot of hope, but he overexceeded all my expectations. James Neill is a really hard working Roofer, and I am glad that I had hired him. He showed up on time, and he didn't leave till the job was completed. I have now used James for two unrelated projects and I have been completely satisfied both times. Knock on wood there isn't a third time but if there is he will be my one and only call. You don't have to worry about somebody coming to give you a price and not knowing who is going to do the actual work or when they will show up. When he tells you when the job will be done, it is he that will be there doing it.

James first replaced our 20 year old chimney cap. He was out to take measurements and give a quote in the matter of a day after calling him. After accepting his quote he sent the measurements off to the fab shop to make the cap. As soon as they had finished he was out to install it. Not only does it look great, it keeps the water out! I knew I had gotten work done by the right guy when my chimney sweeper wouldn't stop raving about how high quality the chimney cap was.

I just had James back out to fix a leaking skylight. He came out on a Saturday to take a look at the job to see what needed to be done. While looking he also noticed that a vent pipe needed a new boot. He was out two days later to complete the work. Instead of fixing the leak or replacing the skylight I had just decided to remove the skylight and patch the hole. If it weren't for the brand new shingles up against the weathered shingles, no one would ever notice the roof was patched.

Quality craftsmanship and reasonably priced. Replaced a chimney chase cap and corner trim boards that were rotted. Would definitely recommend.

James came out to my house on a Saturday to provide a quote for a leak repair which I accepted. The quote was very clear about each step of the process which made me comfortable and the rates were reasonable in my opinion. Upon scheduling my repair, James started the project on time and I can vouch for James being a very hard worker. Even though he encountered some issues with my repair that involved additional supplies and work, he was very fair about the pricing and quite honestly needed to quote me higher but stood by his secondary estimate. Rather than make surface repairs, he pulled up as much of the shingles as was necessary to diagnose he full problem and replaced plywood, etc as needed. My repair took about 3 days and each evening James sent detailed pictures so I could keep up to date on the status and because I don't get on my roof. James was able to find an exact match of my shingles so I cannot even tell which shingles are new and old which is pretty amazing considering my roof is about 10 years old. James warrants his repairs for 1 year so if by chance I have a repeat issue in the next 12 months he will stand by his work. I am very happy to have my roof repaired and would recommend James Neill for any roofing repair needs you have.

I had James Neill Roofing do a job for me a couple year’s ago & the project was done professionally, in a timely manner, & to my satisfaction & at at a cost that was reasonable, and fit my budget. Now in 2020, I found myself in a dispute with my insurance company requiring a quick thorough inspection by a licensed certified roofing inspector. Well, I contacted James Neill, and figuring it would be a couple of weeks before he could fit me into his schedule. Knowing the bind I was in James came and did the inspection the very next day! And what a precise & detailed report w/ pictures he gave me to pass on to my insurance company to resolve the issue. I would highly, highly recommend that if you have any roofing issues, you call James Neill to advise you on repairs, inspections &
