Overall, an excellent reshingling job of our roof, which had some tricky roof lines. Brian and/or his project manager were onsite to make sure the project was going as as promised. They were most accommodating.
A hard working crew. Our only disappointment was that we kept finding nails and many pieces of cellophane wrapping around the perimeter of the house.
We are pleased with the finished finished product.

When my truck broke down on the way up to see the property, Brian’s wife came to me with a gallon of antifreeze on the rd . Now that’s full service to me .Their work is excellent and meticulous detail throughout the rebuild. Highly recommend in this family. Their worker are highly skilled and do an excellent job cleaning up the grounds. Like they were never there.

We called Brian to replace our old roof two years ago and were amazed at how quickly he responded to us compared to other contractors. After a consultation where he went over all of our options, they were able to do the job in only one day within the week. Recently, my seller used him for her roof as well and Brian and his crew went above and beyond the roof replacement. The house needed quite a bit of work to make it look presentable and make the sale go more smoothly. In addition to the roof, they repaired rot on the trim, power washed, replaced the lead on the chimney, repaired broken windows, did some paint touch ups and did the badly needed landscaping. Jalbert Construction was able to take care of all the necessary repair work in just one day, which I know would have taken weeks or months if we had to call separate contractors to address these issues. The work done was top notch and seamless, and Brian kept me up to date on the work being done throughout the day. This made a huge difference in my client’s ability to sell the house at her asking price, with the usual negotiation process after inspection where all of these issue would have come up.

After searching for 3 years for a contractor who would actually show up, to paint and freshen up the house, we found Brian at Jalbert Contracting and are very pleased. Brian and Dana came and inspected. They pointed out areas that should be repaired prior to painting and followed up in a reasonable timely manner with reasonable pricing. The job was started and completed rather quickly despite weather issues. Staining decks and wood trim was offered at a good rate and within the job timeline. Cleanup was done daily. In the 3 years we’ve lived in the Alton we have had both minor and a major projects done (roof and door sill repair and handicapped ramp built, power washing) and Jalbert’s did a great job every time. Brian’s teams are courteous and professional making sure the job is done right. Love my new roof. I understand it's hard to replace a roof and work around the landscaping. I had just invested a lot of time and money and redid my landscaping myself so I am very sensitive about all my bushes and plants.. You all tried your best to protect it and keep damage to a minimum. Once again Brian and his crew have come through for me. They just finished restoring the outside of our daughter's post and beam cedar sided home. They replaced all rotten or soft wood which was extensive, a great deal of work. Then they power washed, sanded, primed and stained the house. They brought the house back where it can be maintain properly. They also replaced the roof on her garage. They went above and beyond and we are once again we are very satisfied with the work they did, the time frame and the price. Looking to have them do some inside work this winter in our home.

I highly recommend Jalbert Roofing. Last spring 2019, we needed a new roof for our camp and when shopping around for roofers we found their prices to very reasonable. We also needed the chimney refaced as well a new gutters, and they were able to do that as well. The team did excellent work and cleaned up very well. The camp looks great and we are very happy.

Wednesday evening after the torrential downpour I heard drip drip drip coming from my bathroom. Investigating the problem I noticed my ceiling had a 12" x 3" water stain. Thursday morning I called Brian. He came out immediately with crew, climbed onto my roof, found the leak and fixed it. While they were up there, he checked other tiles and cleaned out my gutter at no charge. If you want a honest contractor with integrity and great customer service call Jalbert Contracting. I was so impressed with Brian and his crew I'm hiring them for another project.

After climbing up and discovering the roof on the back of the house was in rougher shape than I knew (I thought I had a roof leak resulting from an ice dam, turned out I had a leak in a pipe in the ceiling), I gave Brian a call to get an estimate. He was great from start to finish! Not only was the price he gave me very fair and very competitive, he took my situation into consideration and was able to get everything turned around and done in two weeks to the day from initial site visit to pulling out of the yard having finished the roof.

From his initial visit to evaluate the project right up until they were pulling out of the yard having completed the roof (in a day no less, which included shoveling and stripping off the original roof), he was in contact and provided regular updates on where things stood. Paperwork, single delivery, weather timeline, etc. He even sent photo updates throughout the day while they were working. I didn't ask him to, he took the time to do it of his own volition to keep me in the loop. There were no surprises at any point, and anything he said would happen, happened when he said it would. After the road postings put the kibosh on getting a dumpster in, he was even willing to eat the added cost of having to use a truck and trailer for disposal, all because he believes his quote is his word, and he holds to it. I knew it cost more, and I knew the price he gave me included him being able to work a deal on the dumpster, so I insisted on paying the difference. I believe in treating people fairly, and it's obvious Brian does as well.

Brian and his crew were all professional and courteous every step of the way, they even offered to carry the groceries in for my wife when she parked on the street to leave them space to work around the truck and trailer they were using. Two of the guys on the roof kept playing out "Shave and a haircut, two bits" while laying the new shingles. My wife and daughter thought it was very entertaining.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jalbert Contracting to anyone needing a project done. He'll certainly be my first call whenever I need something done!

Brian was exceptional. Great work from him and his team. Very thorough, organized, keeps property clean while doing the work. Creative thinking and focusing a lot on value. Our deck was very weather-beaten, and I didn't think it could be restored to look new again. Jalbert Contracting did an amazing job, using top grade products, and the deck looks like new. Everyone who stops by comments on it, and we love how it came out!
