Had them come out to do some drywall repair. They were very timely and able to get the project done even with tight turnaround at a reasonable cost.

Has done several medium=size projects (work on install a half bath, install a screen door). Provide a clear detailed estimate for a reasonable amount. Show up within their arrival window, do solid work (extra-long screws for example), clean up. Couldn't ask for anything more!

Beautiful and great quality work. They came out and gave me an estimate to open up a portion of a load bearing wall that I have been wanting forever but was so afraid of what it might cost. They were very professional and very affordable! They were extremely quick with scheduling and finishing the project! Now I have a beautiful cutout that opens up my entire kitchen! Absolutely amazing work!

I was initially told that a contractor would come out and provide an estimate—at no point was a fee mentioned. The contractor came on 1/27, took videos, measurements, and gathered everything needed for the quote. I made it clear that I had a strict timeline and emphasized the urgency of my project, which they acknowledged.

After following up, I was assured they were working on my quote urgently. Then, out of nowhere, I received an email stating I had to pay $500 for the quote—an amount that would only be deducted if I chose them. This was never disclosed upfront, leaving me with no real options. They misrepresented their process, wasted my time, and avoided giving me clear answers.

Now, thanks to their dishonesty, I’m struggling to keep my timeline on track. If you need a project done reliably and on schedule, look elsewhere. This company is untrustworthy and unprofessional. STAY AWAY!

There are not enough rating stars for Jack and his crew. They are definitely a 10! Our 24 year-old deck was rotting away and too dangerous to walk on. Jack came to scope out the job within 2 hours of my call to his office. His quotes were very specific as to what would be done, and half the cost quoted by another contractor. Jack's crew takes great pride in their work, and watching them work with such care to detail was impressive. The result is a solidly built and reinforced deck that we can now enjoy. Jacks team was a pleasure to work with, polite, professional and prompt communication. They remodeled my kitchen and the end result was exactly what I was hoping for. My house is old, so no straight lines when it came to installing cabinets and crown molding, but Jacks team made everything look square. Very good value for the dollar.

A lot of the stairs up to my deck were rotten (deck had a total of about 18 steps up to it). The guys were able to save a lot if the wood and replaced the rotten parts. Also the stairs were brought up to code. Everything from the estimate to the work being done was prompt. Also everyone was very polite. Will call them again if a need arises.

Jack General Services rebuilt my deck with synthetic wood, stabilized it and leveled the frame. Their work is very professional and high-quality, I would recommend to anyone wanting a new deck or any other exterior home projects.!!

What a difference to others! We had three large casement windows replaced and one repaired. Where other window contractors canceled several times and then only got part of the job done, this work was completed quickly and competently. Not cheap (about 40% above competitors) but worth it if you need the job done reliably and on time!

Jack General Services Inc. refurbished a backyard shed for us. The shed was over 40 years old and had a great deal of rot from water exposure as well as holes which had been chewed through by rodents. These talented carpenters jacked up and supported the structure with concrete blocks, rebuilt the joists beneath the floor, replaced the sand and bricks which made up the original underlayment with gravel which will provide far better drainage, replaced the interior plywood floor, and completely replaced the back wall of the shed. They left our backyard surrounding the structure cleaner than they found it when they arrived. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to those looking for the highest quality workmanship at a reasonable competitive price. I am attaching before and after photos to this submission. We hired Jack to rebuilt our deck and scrap/sand/paint our front porch and they did and excellent job on both. The crew came when they said they would and worked 9-10 hours a day and then spent 45 minutes each day to ensure the worksite was clean and organized. Jack was always available for questions and stopped by several times to ensure all was going well. We highly recommend them and would hire them again.

I had an old shed repaired! They did an excellent job…even though sometimes I was a pain in the neck, they were always very professional!

I asked Jack General Services to help fix a heating vent on the second floor of my home. Instead of just ripping open the ceiling on the 1st floor, they took the time to investigate the problem and were able to fix the problem by removing the vent cover on the 2nd floor and re-attaching the heating duct. This saved me money and the hassle of breaking thru the first floor ceiling and then having to repair it. The guys were very professional and I will be calling them any time I have a home project.

I requested several quotes to finish my basement. Jack offered a very competitive price and timeline and guided me through many of the decisions I had to make on exactly how to turn a concrete basement into a living area. Once they started, it was about 2 weeks to completion, and they added insulation, drywall, ceilings, doors, and coordinated with the electrician for lights and outlets. Everyone I worked with was professional and polite, they let me know ahead of time which days they would be at our house and they never canceled. The final product looks great. I plan to work with this crew again.

Jackson remodeled our back porch to make for a safer exit from our house. They added railings besides matching the decking to the existing product and using some of that in the rebuild. Jr. did a lovely job. They were responsive, professional and pleasant throughout the entire experience. My husband and I recommend them highly.
