Rewriting my review as after leaving some feedback the company was quick to come out and fix a few pain points. Highly recommend them as they will stand behind their work.

We had a wonderful experience working with Intelligent Design. From the consultation process to follow up afterwards, everyone was great to work with. Thank you for the excellent customer service and craftsmanship!

Intelligent design did shingling and siding for me on my house and also shingled an outbuilding. We found major structural damage on that outbuilding. They had to do reframing and even used a crane to lift the new roof in place. Their workmen were very courteous and work hard to fix the problems that my poor building had. I'm an old person 73 yrs and sometimes people can take advantage of someone like me. I didn't have that feeling at all with this company.

Kudos to Intelligent Design team which did an amazing job while working on our project to replace the roof and siding. They helped us to work out all the questions with our insurance company and they did a fantastic job in finishing the project quickly and with the high quality. We loved working with our Sales Rep, Zalman, and project manager, Vladimir. We would recommend this company to anyone that has to do similar projects for their house.

This company really went above and beyond to take care of our case that was not a pleasant situation and could have been really ugly. They took care of business and they really care about the work they do and value a strong reputation. They are good people!

It was my first time working with Intelligent design and my first insurance claim in my 20 years of being a property owner. I have 2 duplexes that sustained hail damage. I worked with Val and he was very professional with the residents and met with both insurance companies and really guided me through the process. I was also very specific about what I wanted and am very knowledgeable about building exteriors since I’m in the industry. Both of my duplexes really look great and I got everything that I was looking for and chose maintenance free options. Roofs were replaced, vents, fascia, gutters, gutter guards, and soffits. One property needed new sheathing. They coordinated another contractor for electrical needs. It was a long process, but it all made sense and the process was smooth. The communication was also good along the process that Dustan facilitated with the different aspects being addressed. I am very pleased and I am glad I chose Intelligent Design. We've been using Intelligent Design for a remodel. They have been amazing! They show up on time and get the job done. Cody has gone above and beyond. He stayed late and helped us dig for a gas line, then fixed it. He came out early to help me figure out another issue. I can't recommend him/them enough!

It took 12 weeks to get an electrician to our place after the team took off my light. Our job, in Stan's words, is "peanuts to him". The crews damaged our window trim and deck. I cleaned up after these people every step of the way. I regret using Intelligent Design.

I wanted to share our experience with getting our roof replaced after storm damage. Val was recommended by Cornerstone Insurance following a big hailstorm and was able to come out to survey the damage and help me call the claim in to my insurance that same day I contacted him. He also came out a second time to meet the claims adjuster to point out everything he had noted in his own inspection, so I was able to not miss work. I think him being so prepared, friendly and organized helped to get the claim approved. Once we got the check from our insurance he came over a third time to let us pick out the roofing materials and review the job one last time. From there it took less than a week from writing them a check to getting the new roof installed and they were able to get the job done in one day. Just an all around great experience working with them. Maks who was the foreman of the crew who put on the roof was also awesome! As a first time home owner I had no idea how to even go about this process and Val was great at educating us on the process and making communication with the insurance company as seamless as possible. Would not hesitate to call these guys again or recommend them to anyone.

We were away when a hail storm damaged our roof, unbeknown to us. Brady drove by one day and noticed our roof looked like it might be damaged. This was over a year after the storm had hit. Brady inspected the roof, took notes, and worked with our home insurer to to get our roof replacement covered, plus some gutter and siding damage. Intelligent Design did all the replacement and repair work and did an excellent job, under Brady's supervision. We appreciated his friendly manner and the attention he gave to the project.

Brady did a wonderful job taking care of our big job. He went above & beyond to take care of everything. I would highly recommend him & Itelligent Design for any project.

We had Intelligent Design replace our roof & windows caused by a storm in ‘19. Due to Covid & the insurance part it took longer but was worth the wait. The guys were on time, efficient & professional. They cleaned up after themselves every day they were here & even went the extra mile rehanging blinds after our big picture window was installed. Stan the owner, came out & made sure everything was going well, making sure if we had any questions or concerns they were being addressed. The windows are beautiful we are very happy!! We highly recommend Intelligent Design for any remodeling needs.

We just hired them to replace our roof and gutters due to storm damage. We had been through 4 inspections and 2 adjusters prior with State Farm and we were ready to give up. They got results when others fell short! They're always available, super polite, and their professional communication is unmatched. My house looks great!!! I had a hail claim from last summer I ended up needing a new roof and siding. Roof was done in October, Siding just got completed. It is a long process but winter gets in the way of this type of work. We went with Hardie Board and we are super happy, they will be doing gutters for us this summer and we may be talking about windows this fall or next spring. Consider these guys for your home improvement needs.

My daughter writing this.. We hired Intelligent Design after a storm that hit. Val stopped at our house. Was very vague, couldn't give us pricing upfront and just wanted us to sign the contract which we gave into (rookie mistake). For some reason Tony took over and communication was good at first. We actually received a very unprofessional voicemail from Tony stating how impatient he is getting waiting for the money. Nothing we could do as we were waiting to get a check from our insurance company. Once they got the money communication was no longer there. We would have to reach out multiple times before getting a response whenever we would ask when things are going to get started. We were told multiple different dates. No one told us when people actually came out. We came home from being out of the country to half the siding torn off. Storm happened in June and things didn't get started until late December. Val had promised us that everything would be done by August when we signed. We then received a second check from our insurance company that Intelligent had to sign off on also. Tony told us the only person who can do that is on vacation so he will let us know when. Couldn't get a hold of him for 3 months so the check expired. We had to call our insurance and get another check. Reached out to Tony and still haven't got a response. It's now almost March and our house is still not finished and the check is still not signed. Let me mention that the pricing was outrageous also. They knew what were getting from insurance so they made sure they would get every penny (no wonder they wouldn't give pricing upfront). Extremely unhappy with this company and would never recommend them.

I had a amazing experience with Intelligent Design. Tony, my point of contact with Intelligent Design, was great to work with. Always responded in a timely manner, explained what was being done, when it was getting done, etc. I've worked with other contractors on other projects and this was by far my best experience with a group. Their team was professional and did high quality work.

Storm in June, it's now Nov and the rest of the work is finally being completed. Next to no communication coming back to us from the company, just a lot of flying by the seat of their pants. They show up when they feel like, no warning about doing the work, no materials or dumpster delivered before hand. We've been contacting members of the company for about a month solid with absolutely zero return communication about when the work will be completed, workers simply show up today to do the work, didn't even know what siding they were replacing. I had to show them.
Won't use them in the future ever, won't recommend them to anyone, will be contacting our city hall with a recommendation to not issue solicitation permits to them in the event of future storms.

We are very pleased! What started out as a roof insurance claim, turned into a kitchen remodel and addition. Tony and Nate fought the Insurance company for us. Stan made sure that all the work was completed to his high standards. The crew was very courteous and friendly. Quoted price is what we paid. Beautiful end result! We’re going to miss you guys!

Intelligent Design Corporation was wonderful they did 90% of the communication with insurance co. I got everything we talked about and more my house looks great I am so happy with their work they were always easy and pleasant to work with I highly recommend them.

Intelligent Design was an excellent choice for our home repairs following the 2018 hail storm in Blaine MN.
Our roof, siding, garage doors, gutters and windows needed replacement. This was an extremely large job with significant scale and complexity. Working with Stan Bodnar was a pleasure. He was very well informed and had many years of experience to help advise us with all of our repairs and additionally assisted with communications to the insurance company which was a relief for us. Intelligent Design started the work on time, every time. And finished the job as scheduled every time. The team of workers were always polite and respectful of our property. They never damaged any of our landscaping and they always cleaned up the work areas perfectly. We now believe our home looks more beautiful than ever. The quality of the workmanship and materials is top notch. Being a detailed individual with high expectations I can strongly recommend Intelligent Design for your construction needs.

Intelligent Design did a good job with our roof and siding but we noticed a few missing window trim pieces after the job was supposed to be done. I have made multiple calls to multiple people over the past year and to this date, we are still missing the trim pieces.

Adam was absolutely amazing to work with. He redid two of our bathrooms and some other handy work around our home. We couldn't be happier. We are looking forward to working with him again in the near future for upcoming projects.

A guys name Val came knocking at our door and say that he work for Intelligent design crop company. After he checked our roof for any damages from the storm, we asked for an estimate of how much it will cost and he wouldn't even tell us. All he say is that after our insurance company come and check and send us of how much they are welling to give us for our damage then we'll talk about it. He made us sign a contract with nothing write on or mark on what's he going to fix. He told us to give him a call when the papers get here so he can come and see it so we can talk about what to do next. When our insurance papers came, telling us of how much it was welling to give us for our damage, we call Val and let him know that the papers is here. He came and took pictures of the papers and just left and didn't say anything about what we going to do next or how the process is going to work. A few days later, we got a call from Val and all he say was that, "are we home, if we are then he's going to quickly stop by and pick up the check from our home insurance company." ??!! Are you for real??!!! This is just radicalism!!! We haven't even talk about what to do next, how much the estimate of fixing the roof will cost or anything about fixing and this guy already asking for our insurance money!!! We told him no that we're not going to give him the check until we can get an estimate of how much the roof is going to cost and what we're going to fix or how the process is going to work. He say okay, that he will give us a call and will come and talk to us about the process, it been almost a month now and no call from him yet! I don't feel like I can trust him after that call of asking for the money when we haven't even get an estimate and the work haven't even begin!! I will not recommended this company to anyone cause it just seem and felt like a fraud or maybe it is a fraud!! If we were to had more experience, we wouldn't have open the door for him!!!

I don't want to sob over my sorrows and hard times however when the owner from Intelligent Design heard my story he decided to help our family and donated a full wrap around the house of gutters. We have used Intelligent Design on several different occasions. They built a deck for us and have helped with a few insurance claims. It was always easy to work with them, they dealt directly with our insurance company and quickly resolved any small things we wanted changed. Stan the owner is our next door neighbor. He is a very hard working family man and we would recommend the company!

We were looking for a bathroom remodel and John Smith from Intelligent Design contacted me. We agreed and price, I gave a $8300 deposit. John an employee of IDC hired Kapp Construction to do the work without IDC. The work and materials (from Menards) and time frames were not at all what was promised. After over double the time frame the bathroom had to be re gutted and redone--workmanship was that bad--I hired another contractor --I contacted Stan, the owner, he had other issues with Kapp Construction and they owed him money as well. Stan told me he fired John for not involving IDC and representing his company, but is still on the website, and Stan received his money back from Kapp Construction but did not offer to help or assist me even though I thought I purchased my $17k bathroom from them ---HORRIBLE HORRIBLE OUT $8300 for now see You all in court
