Bison builders just completed installing a steel roof and steel siding on our home. Noah and Jessie’s perseverance in working with our insurance company was outstanding. They made multiple visits out to our house for roof evaluations, shingle samples, siding samples, appraisals with insurance adjusters, etc. They worked for over a year, on our behalf, without any compensation from us or our insurance company. Finally, the insurance company relented and accepted the evaluation from third-party appraisers that our roof and siding should be replaced. We replaced our asphalt shingles with steel roofing. Our roof is full of hips, valleys and ridges requiring nearly all the panels be hand cut at an angles. I am in the steel roofing industry…my roof is a challenging roof. The care and craftsmanship of the crew’s work was amazing! The quality of the siding installation was equally impressive. I highly recommend Noah, Jessie, and the entire Bison Builders team. They have completely transformed our home!

Bison Builders, an out-of-town company, noticed that our shingles were in poor condition after our neighborhood suffered from two severe hailstorms. About 95% of the homes in our area received approval from their insurance companies for shingle replacements, including one home next door to us. Unfortunately, our insurance claim was denied. However, Bison Builders approached us and offered to assist by taking photos for the claim. Thanks to their help, our claim was ultimately approved.

I was having a lot of issues with other contractors blowing me off with trying to get my roof repaired. They didn’t want to deal with my insurance company because they were too “difficult.” My roof was leaking and I didn’t know what to do. I could not be happier with the recent service that we received from Bison Builders! We had a hail storm come through last year that damaged the roof of our house. From start to finish, Jake the project manager was PHENOMENAL to work with. He was personable, trustworthy, and explained everything about the process very clearly and honestly. Our insurance company that we've had for over 20 years was being extremely stingy and difficult about what they would cover as far as repairs, and Jake worked with us and fought our insurance company for 10 MONTHS and was able to get them to agree to replacing our entire roof and gutters! When Jake first told us that he would be able to get the full roof replacement covered, I thought, "absolutely no way". Our insurance company originally said they would only cover 20% of costs to replace our entire roof and gutters. But somehow, Jake kept pushing our insurance company and provided justification for the repairs and replacement over and over, and they finally and surprisingly relented! Once approved, Jake made the material selection and install scheduling process extremely simple. The roofing crew did a fantastic job and finished the full replacement of our complex roof in just a few days. And they did an amazing job cleaning up after, to the point that you wouldn't have even known they were there. I cannot recommend Bison Builders enough!!!!! Honestly one of the best experiences I've ever had using a contractor

We are very happy with our new roof! we are new first time homeowners, and our roof got hail damage last year. We’ve been meaning to get the roof redone Right but haven’t had success. Chris Boyles was doing door-to-door stops, and helped us work through all of it with our insurance. We got a new roof on our house and garage with no cost to us. They got the work done in a day. It was very straightforward and efficient, and the work is lovely and the team cleaned up after themselves like they were never there. Chris was super responsive and always enthusiastic. We are happy with the service and would recommend them to anyone.

I cannot stress enough how great this company has been to work with. We had a large hail storm come through last year and a person came knocking on our door early this summer. I was hesitant to hire someone I didn't know, but decided to give them a chance. We had a claim denied previously and I didn't really think this time would be any better. We submitted the claim and were approved for a very small amount. The sales person from the other roofing contractor basically told me I could call the insurance and try to get it approved, but didn't offer to do any of the work for us. He didn't have any pictures or anything and didn't even offer to come back when we had a second storm come through at the end of July this year. I knew we would get nowhere and had basically given up when I met Nicole from Bison Builders.

I told her my story and she got up on my roof and started circling hail hits, indicating old damage and new damage, laying out all the wreckage very clearly on all three of the buildings on my property. She spent over 2 hours talking with me, taking around 150 pictures and told me that her company would do all of the work to sumbit a request to my insurance company for a reinspection. I really clicked with her and appreciated her taking so much time to explain it all. My husband told me I was wasting my time since we had already tried twice with no success. I decided to give Nicole a shot anyway since we really had nothing to lose.

Within 2 weeks, we got an approval letter from the insurance for full replacement on all three buildings without ever having to go through an actual reinspection. I was in shock. I couldn't believe it and I actually had to call Nicole to make sure I wasn't misreading the insurance estimate. Nicole and her team were so thorough that it was undeniable that we had so much hail damage, the insurance just approved it. My husband was even in shock. The other contractor didn't even try.

We just got our new roof put on and completed today. It is amazing! The roofing crew worked non stop for 14 hours and they did a phenomenal job. They were polite, kind, professional and very helpful. I am so thrilled with the result. I am a very anxious person, but Bison took great care of us. I have already recommended them to two friends. Thank you guys so much for getting us our new roof!

Our Bison Builders representative, Chris Boyles was amazing. He stopped by one day and asked if we wanted to have our roof checked for hail damage. Just Annoyed at the situation, they claimed I have significant hail damage and there’s no way insurance will deny it even after I told him iv already made two claims for this in the past 5 years and they all have been denied he still pushed to open another claim witch I did because I was convinced but sure enough they denied it again, I just wish these guys knew what was acceptable damage to make a claim and not just throw it at the wall and see if it sticks now I have three denied claims doesn’t look good on my insurance That being said I give two stars because Joe was super nice in the beginning But towards the end, very difficult to get a hold of which tells me he knew this wasn’t going to happen.

We had our roof, siding, and windows replaced through Bison. Overall the experience was great. There were a couple hiccups along the way, which can be expected from the amount of work we had done. Joe, who helped manage the project was always responsive and followed through not giving up until the job was done. He also helped go back and forth with our insurance company to make sure we got the most items covered. I appreciate the effort they gave and the work that was done. If you are trying to find a good honest company that has the customers best interest, look no further.

Everything about this experience was a WIN! White glove service front to back---Ty and his team took care of everything from managing insurance claims, laying out product choices, life time warranty and timelines. I knew I had hail damage from the storm last August and had been dragging my feet on calling insurance. Chris Boyles was my field rep and he was extremely helpful. He called my insurance company with me then did all the work from there. They did my entire roof in one day and didn’t leave a single nail. My garden was directly under part of the roof and they managed to leave it completely unscathed. I have been recommending him to anyone who lives in the path of last years storm. If you got hit by the August 11th storm in the twin city’s area you have till August 11th 2024 to file your claim!

I am extremely impressed with the
whole Bison Builders team. Starting with Kaitlyn Todnem, who spent some time to get to know us. Then, climbing up to inspect our roof she marked many of the shingles before coming back down and explaining what damages she found, and our next steps should we decide to proceed with replacing it. She made sure to be on site when our insurance adjuster came to inspect the roof and helped us to choose the right product and color for our house.
When it came time to actually replace the roof, she was there to confirm the job with us and the project foreman.
After removing the old shingles, the roofers inspected the boards and some were in bad shape. Kaitlyn called me and explained the situation and the total cost to replace them. I was never surprised by any hidden fees.
The quality of their work, as far as I can see is impeccable. And, something that was very important to me, I have found only one nail anywhere in my yard since they finished the job.

Bison Builders did a great job on our roof replacement!! Looks great with no issues, and the clean up was so good I couldn't even tell they had been there! We worked with Adam Seed and he was great, keeping us informed and promptly answering any questions or concerns we had! Highly recommend Bison Builders!

Bison seemed good on the front end, but after the job was done I noticed some sketchy and incomplete work. Some drip edge came loose and revealed they hadn't even cut some of the new OSB decking with a saw. The edge that normally would have been hidden was a shattered mess, looking like they got it to "fit" with a hammer or something equally blunt. Also the roofing nails in the final cap shingles weren't sealed, along with some other areas.

Casey, my Rep from Bison Builders, stepped in and handled every aspect of the job, from dealing with my the adjuster and insurance provider, to the final city inspection.
The roof was done quickly and expertly.
The attention to detail in the roof valleys make it look so much better than the last roof. The jobsite was clean afterwards.

I absolutely love this company!! As soon as I reached out about my roof and leaking water they had Phil Tyler there the next day. They helped me call my insurance company to get everything started and was with me every step of the way until the job was completed. The roof installation was professionally done within hours. They had several different people come out after to make sure everything was picked up. I just had a cap blow off in the wind and they were right there to put it back on. I finally feel safe when I see there are storms coming. Thank you so much!!!!

Brittany did a great job helping us get our roof replaced due to hail damage. She worked with the insurance adjuster and help us get the needed info to our insurance company. The work was scheduled quickly. The Bison roofing team did a great job with the roof and a very thorough cleanup in the yard. I would definitely recommend Bison Builders.
