Ideal had to rebuilt my chimney and repair a small shed roof.

A Very stressful situation finally is over having Mike and Ideal taking care of the skylight and the roof around it.

I have a small rental property and live out of state. After a call from my neighbor about a hail storm, my insurance company confirmed I needed repairs. Ugh!
Although I never met Mike, I presume to be the owner of Ideal Roofing, he went right out to the property and provided a very reasonable estimate. Of 3 quotes, he was the only one in-line with my insurance estimate. I received pictures before, during, and after the roof repair which was a huge stress relief since I was out of town. What I liked most was that Mike did not demand money upfront and was willing to wait for a check in the mail once the job was complete and I was satisfied (I realize they can put a lien on my property but still, it shows integrity).
Overall I was very impressed with Ideal Roofing and find it unfortunate that I am not likely need them again since my new roof is solid. Good craftsmanship and great customer service!

Like many other reviewers, we selected Ideal based on their review track record. I can easily say this is my first experience where only 5 star reviews makes perfect sense and they still over delivered. Mike was punctual, professional, considerate, honest and efficient. We had our chimney swept and our smoke chamber repaired/relined. Our home inspector suggested our flu may need relining which Mike assured us was unnecessary but did recommend the repairs he saw were needed. Mike and his crew even patched some open areas along the chimney exterior (above and beyond). We’ve just finished remodeling our entire house and we were worried about a chimney cleaning making a mess. Mike was overly careful and cleaned up like they were never here. He treated our home as though it were his own. Exceptional all around - I look forward to giving Mike a call when it comes time do work on our roof. Great company, great service, professional and considerate we had using Ideal Roofing.I've never gone through the process of having a roof replaced and Mike made it really easy. He walked me through the entire process, he was patient, friendly and helpful with explaining next steps. J picked up where he left off and was also very patient and professional with explaining things.
She communicated clearly, answered all my questions, responded timely and kept me up to date on deliveries and installation.
I was given a time they would start, and on the day of install they were here on time and finished timely. The installation Manager performed a walk around / inspection to make sure things were intact and Mike followed-up afterwards to make sure I was happy with the work performed. I had a leaky roof caused by a wind and hail storm. When I called my insurance company they sent out an adjuster.
He told me there was no damage, which is funny because I live in a duplex and the other side's insurance company said she had damage. I had leak spots in my bathroom and bedroom ceilings and she had none! When I called Mike from Ideal Roofing and told him, he fought for me and I got the insurance company to send out another inspector, and I did have damage. If it weren't for Mike and J (in the office), I don't think I would have gotten a new roof. They did a wonderful job and I was so impressed with the company, I got new guttering too! They are competitive and compassionate, which is hard to find in the business world today. I would recommend Mike and his company to anyone looking for a professional roofing job with the best customer service team in the area! Had Ideal come in and do two things: fireplace/chimney inspection (with photos and videos) and chimney sweep. Upon inspection, as would be with anything that’s been neglected and unused for 15 years…the smoke chamber was cracked all around and missing a lot of joints (not to mention flashing and the need to be repointed…for Spring).

Schedule the work asap, so the crew came out within 48 hours. Did all work and the fire is cranking for the first time in almost 2 decades!

Called Mike from Ideal Roofing based on recommendations from family and friends. Mike responded quickly and had drawn up a proposal with many different options based on ones own budget and needs. After signing the one that would work best for my rental property, Mike kept in contact with me including email updates on their schedule. When work commenced, their crew had it done in two and a half days.
The workmanship was excellent, their team members were all polite and the cleanup was complete. What stood out to me was the way communication was always in the forefront and explains why Mike and his entire team values their integrity.

I had to replace my 25 years old roof as we started to have some little leaks here and there.
We did collect more than 5 estimates from different companies around Nj and the truth is that it ja a little stressing dealing with t different people's 5 different approaches etc but anyway the person who answered all our questions and made us feel comfortable was Mike from Imdsal Home Improvements Llc.

What a wonderful experience we had on our roof replacement and chimney repair hiring Ideal Home Improvements LLC and Mike on top of the work.
Shingles were not here in Nj and Mike assured us that will travel to get them in Allentown Pa.
All he charged us was the gas,was so great of him.
Job completed on time even the temperature were little low.
For chimney they used an antifreeze solution making sure we won’t have any problem.
Mike all the time made us feel comfortable and updated us on the project a great reason why I would everyone hire him.
I should mention that all the team were great guys.
Price for both job were very reasonable as we had some other quotes to compare with but we hire them as they did have any complaints m with BBB.

We had a big issue with our fireplace according to two other companies until Mike who suggested from a friend of mine showed up.
Something that other people were saying that we need to spend more than 8k,Mike and his crew came and took care of it for just 1,900$ like 5 hours of work.
We had to pull a permit and job was inspected from building inspector and passed the inspection for the liner and a small repair outside.

Hello everyone
Wanted to share my great experience using Ideal Home Improvements Llc having done my slate roof repair on my rental property in NJ.
After a long research work i decided to work with Mike and his team whose price was in the range other companies were asking but i choose Mike as his looked more professional and experienced.
He did provide me samples of the color matching existing ones as we were replacing a part of it.
His crew were great as the fix a loose gutter on the back too.
Mike did suggest to have install a copper valley which was crafted on spot and came out great.
Job was completed on time and all promises were kept as written on the contract.
I couldn’t be more happy as the whole process was seamless and was updated throughout the whole process by photos and videos.
Week have passed and NJ had few good rains and no leaking anymore confirmed from my tenants.

I had such a a great experience with Ideal Home Improvements Llc. He was very prompt with providing a quote and proposal. The proposal was also very competitive compared to others.

We recently purchased a new house, which in this market means no inspections and no contingencies. Just a few days after signing an agreement of sale, we visited the property again for a walk through. When I went into the basement, I noticed there was a large puddle on top of the wood stove in our basement. I called Ideal Home Improvements Llc and spoke to J and explained my situation. Her recommendation was to have someone come out and complete a sweep on the 2nd chimney stack and they would be able to inspect the leaking chimney stack at the same time. Long story short, we made our settlement on 10/20 and I had someone here on 10/22 to clean the chimney and investigate the leak problem. Mike the tech was great to work with and listened to all of my concerns.
He completed a thorough cleaning of both chimneys and gave me what I thought was a fair estimate based on the work being performed. From my experience this company was not trying to push for work that was really not needed. For instance, I questioned why we wouldn't replace the chimney caps with new stainless ones to match the chase cover and the answer was simple... "They really don't need to be replaced" I have provided before and after pictures which speak for the quality of performed. They even filled some holes from woodpeckers and other birds on my wood siding while they were up on the roof. I would highly recommend these folks and plan to use them for yearly cleanings and maintenance. Best of all this is a small family-owned business which is just another reason to give them your support. It's more about customer satisfaction and building relationships as opposed to meeting sales quotas. I plan to use these folks yearly going forward.

Highly recommend Mike and his team! I found Ideal Home Improvements Llc on Google,noticed his very positive reviews and called. He was at my house a few hours later, taking photos and measurements for an estimate for a new cedar shingle roof.
He provided numerous references, all checked out with glowing comments. His pricing was quite fair for this large job. They began work within a week and I was incredibly impressed with his team, how clean they kept the worksite (our front courtyard) and how they cleaned up after each day's work. They were organized, methodical and worked section by section around the entire roof. The men were all hard workers and very kind.
The roof is now done to code (wasn't before), with new flashing and the proper protections under the cedar shingles for longevity. Could not be more thrilled. I would highly recommend Mike and his company,Ideal Home Improvements Llc.

Jobe was completed in like 2 hours I would say and you can't tell that there was a repair done.

We had a leak around our skylight and had company coming in 1 week! I called Mike and he literally came over in an hour. I could tell from the reviews and just the man he is that he was the one to go with.
He said we needed a new skylight - new exactly which one to get (I didn't have to order it)- he picked it up and they installed on time.
Also of course I didn't want to get a new skylight-- but the price wasn't bad--& I thought it was a fair price.
Also I was worried that the roof shingles wouldn't match-and Mike prepared me that sometimes they don't-- but they did! And it looks great.

I contacted Ideal Home Improvements roofing via Google Map and immediately got a message from them asking if I was available that day for a consult. I was greeted by a gentleman who introduced himself and told me what he was going to do.
Everything was laid out for me including installation process, the different shingles and what kind of warranty they're backed with, color etc. The price was fair, the installation happened less than a week later (before a ridiculous stretch of rain) and we are satisfied with the end result.
I was a little worried about how messy things got as I was occasionally peeping through my ring door bell but they cleaned up everything so nicely including the neighbors areas which will happen in a house like ours regardless.
Im hoping to never need to buy another roof for awhile but if I do. This is where I am going. Top notch, friendly, and fast!

We had purchased a home that advertised "new" siding Turns out the previous owners had painted over the old vinyl siding, and it started to buckle and separate in the summer heat. We did not expect to have to re-side the house within our first year, but it had to be done.
From start to finish, both Mike and his team were great to work with. During our estimate walk through, Al offered some design suggestions which we ended up taking (so glad we did). Their low pressure approach and fair pricing made them stand out. After stripping off the siding, we found old termite damage in certain areas. Issues mid-project often lean in favor of the contractor (it has to get fixed), but Mike did not take advantage or up charge us. We found his quote to address the damage to be reasonable.
The crew was friendly and hardworking, and they did a great job of cleaning up the yard at the end of each day.
Overall, we're very happy with the services provided.

I decided to call them and Mike came out for an estimate next day in morning.
We had to do just the siding originally but i asked him to give me an estime for the roof too as i saw in his truck that they do roofing.
Price of roofing and siding as boundle  gave me free set if gutter and gutter screens.

We hired them to do a roof repair job and a chimney flashing.
Mike was constantly on top of the job making sure everything was done right and as promised forwarding us the pics as job was progressing.
It rain few days after and we didn’t have any issues.

Whats an amazing performance from estimate day to the completion day.
All started with a search for roofing replacement as my roof was due being 25 years old.
Mike from Ideal Home Improvements Llc was the 3rd person i planned to ask for an estimate and i am proud i left him the last as i had the chance to compare what other people say to what Mike thinks.
No offense to the others but definitely Mike was shadowing them from confirmation call and first impression as soon i met him.
During all time he was asking me if i am following and understanding or if i need a better explanation which really release me from a lot of pressure of asking or not asking things.
The explanation in details,the price (not the cheapest) and the comforting Mike provided were the factor i choose him and we don't regret.
Color was chosen considering all colors of siding and shutters and Mike helped to understand how the roof may look like when its done.
Job was scheduled in a week from that day,as we expected they didn't delay anything.
They did show up at 8:30 in the morning starting to cover all the bushes and plants around the house including our deck.
As we did notice with Mike during our attic inspection (he was only one willing to go there) plywood needed to change at 60% and insulation too.
So after ripping off the shingles that did replace the plywood and insulation all over the roof as we just wanted 100% new decking.
Mike addressed few issues with rafter without letting us now and updated regarding that through pictures after job was completed and yes,he did and no additional cost.
The did finish around 7-ish and he did sent all the pictures of the projects as shown here.
Clean up was done as nothing happened at all.
We couldn't be more happy than working with Mike and his team.
