I initially hired them to do a full restoration in my home after water damage. They did a decent job on the dry out. However, they broke one of my bedroom windows and denied ever doing so. Also, missed half ($7,000) of what was needed in replacing what was damaged. I ended up firing them on doing the remainder of work.

Very unhappy with this company. My claim started over 8 weeks ago. Flooded basement. They pulled drying equipment too soon so further damage. Tore up drywall removing baseboards then came in and put up new baseboards without repairing damage and just painted over damage without any repairs. When I questioned why the baseboards were put down before the drywall repairs were done the Supervisor Matt said they didn't quote any repairs... really.... they tore them up and then think I want them left like that? There was $339.00 on the quote for drywall repair. So then they subcontracted that to be fixed. Didn't take into consideration that I have a custome vanity, real wood, and told me I have $250 to replace it. Left sheets of drywall in my garage for 2 weeks and disappeared. When I called them to come and get it out they sent one person and he left a long scratch on my epoxy garage floor. The subcontractors left trash and empty paint cans in my yard. They do not communicate with you or each other. Unless you want it to take forever and love stress do not use this company.

We called HR General Contractors Inc to check for hail damage and get an estimate on a new roof. There is no way the guy who came out had enough time to do a proper check. I was outside for about 10 minutes and by the time I got back inside, he was at the door talking to my husband. I did not hear any noises of someone being on the roof. After my husband spoke with the guy and came inside, he told me that there guy said we didn't have any hail damage. My husband asked him about an estimate on a new roof, and the guy said it would be about 8 grand but said not to quote him. He then said that he could get up there and do measurements and give us an estimate. (Isn't that why we called him out?) Then he told my husband he didn't want to fight our insurance company over a new roof. We never said anything about our insurance company . The guy even told us to have our insurance company come out here to deny us a new roof, then to call the guy back out. We want a new roof due to the looks of it , and we would be willing to pay for it. Basically, whoever it was who came out, did not do what he should have, and we got the feeling the guy was being lazy and didn't want our business. The only good thing I was happy about this transaction is that it was a free estimate, but then again, we didn't even get our estimate. Also, no one likes it when people come off nonchalantly rude when talking about a service, and this guy was. We get the feeling, since we have a tri-level house instead of a conventional house, he just did not want to do the work.

Sam Cassell and his crew did a great job on our kitchen remodel! There were several "surprises" (all remodels have them) and Sam helped us make the best decisions and not to be overwhelmed. Thanks to his great communication and crew scheduling we weren't even set back more than a couple of weeks. I cannot express how much we appreciate all that H & R did to make our kitchen the beautiful & functional kitchen it is today.
