HPM Building Supply - Custom Metal Roofing

Their Dura Coat roofing product had a production defect and began to peel on one of my newer structures, and though their product is supposedly under warrantee my claim was denied even though a 3year older roof given identical treatment, and under the same conditions has no issues. The Dura coat representative they sent to inspect my roof was completely unprofessional, and failed to show up for the initial appointment making me late for meeting with family who was only visiting for a very short period of time, and then he denied my claim even though it was obvious that it was a production defect on this newer roof, as I made sure that he also photograph and document the older roof that wasn't peeling. I have spent many thousands of dollars putting their roofing on four of my structures over the years, and on a recent deck roof, and this poor treatment, and disregard for their warranty is completely unacceptable. My email responses disputing that the claim denial is unfounded, and inconsistent have been completely ignored, and on top of that their roofing has continued to increase in price while decrease in coating quality, and metal thickness. The most recent roofing I purchased from them cannot even be walked on barefoot without causing dents in the thin metal, and after they denied their warranty due to inconsistent reasoning I will never purchase roofing from them again due to the poor treatment of their customers, and highly suggest that you look elsewhere for your roofing needs.

HPM has since stepped up saying they will honor replacing the faulty duracoat brand roofing, but this extended negative experience was quite unnecessary, all I can hope is that they will actually come through when I have the time and resources to take on reroofing my entire structure myself since their offer was only to provide replacement roofing equal to the original purchase, but does not include time and labor costs of removing the old roofing, custom cutting, and reinstalling the new material which I don't have time to do myself at this point. I will update this post again once I am ready to have the new roofing delivered.

Conveniently located in Shipman Park, they had exactly what we needed (those foam wavy strips you put under corrugated roofing) and we were quickly in and out of there.

Easy purchase. Tell them how much, what style, how long, and pick up the pile later that day or the next day. They load it with a hoist.
