He communicated well and ensured I felt confident in choosing their services. They promptly sent a service crew who fixed the issue within two days. They genuinely care about their reputation and aim to satisfy their customers. Even the salesperson I initially spoke to was very patient and always got back to me if he missed my call (which was rare). The team is truly exceptional, and I can't emphasize that enough! (Part 2) Now, regarding the contractors they hired, I’d rate them a 4/5. They have been in the roofing business for 12 years, and I noticed a few areas where they could improve. For instance: 1. They didn’t fully install underlayment over my front porch and a little over the garage. 2. After their “cleanup,” I found several old roof materials and nails in my yard. When the service crew came, they did a complimentary cleanup and uncovered at least 30 nails! 3. They accidentally damaged one of my inexpensive patio tables. I'm not too concerned about this since it was a low-cost table, but it still shows they could be more careful. 4. They didn’t clear out the gutters, which were filled with debris from the old roof and even a full set of nails. This is part of what they should do after finishing the job. 5. There was a corner piece that was sticking out. It was functional, but it didn’t look great. Please note that all these issues were addressed after the initial installation. I want to be fair to the contractors; it was getting dark and chilly when they were working, but that's no excuse. They could have returned the next day to finish properly. Despite my experience with them, I believe yours will be different. The roofing company seems to have addressed these concerns with the contractors and will be keeping a closer watch on their work to prevent this from happening again. So, overall, I still recommend this roofing company, but I suggest you consider using a camera with a time-lapse feature to record the work for your own peace of mind. It might seem a bit odd, but it’s a good way to protect yourself.
