Fairly priced for both AC unit installation and water heater installation, and great customer service! Highly recommend.

Had electrician install separate fuse for refrigerator in garage. Quote was $800+ but paid $900+. Not very professional job. Come to find out hours later that electrician push fridge to far against wall which busted ice maker water line and flooded carpet. Didnt find this out until 5pm as I had no use to go into garage during day. Dont waste $$$$$ on this company.

SCAM business! The most unreliable business. Dean was very nice when he had to sell me a unit that cost over $5000 brand new; every since then has been a complete different story. This guy is a pathetic SCAM, this business is a joke. The worst customer service imaginable. The New unit has needed 6 repairs!! Dean always tries to slide out of responsibility. Pathetic business needs to be shut down. The reviews on their Website are cherry picked.

This is one of the best companies I have ever worked with. They gave a reminder call the day before the appointment, called an hour before the technician was to arrive. Doug arrived right on time then put shoe covers on his feet before he stepped in my door. He's extremely skilled, kind and polite. I highly recommend!

Gunnar B from House Call Company came to my house on 10/09/20 to perform a semiannual inspection and maintenance on my Trane HVAC unit - consisting of the following: airhandler, heatpump, and propane furnace. In his performance of the inspection/maintenance I felt like Gunnar had the knowledge and experience necessary to do the job well and I was satisfied with his work. I would recommend him.

Everyone who came out to my house from this company were professional and knowledgeable. Dean came out and completed the work and gave me a lesson in pipes and plumbing at the same time. He wore a mask and shoe protection. I would definitely recommend this company.

I have never had a bad experience with anyone who has provided service for my house repair needs. Great people to work with. Employees seem to be " family " not just an employee. All work is done in a timely manner. It's hard to find good people to work with these days. This company is the best at what they do. Love all the folks that have been to do various jobs.

I received a verbal quote for two simple plumbing repairs from a trusted contractor referral for over $800. When I said it sounded high, the technician asked for my credit card for an $89 diagnostic fee that was not disclosed upfront. If you have a fee because you don’t trust your own ability to win the referred business, then at least disclose it! After being upset over the way this was handled and refusing to pay an undisclosed fee, I decided to call them back on the phone and hold off on my decision until I had received a second quote to confirm my suspicions. A friend referred a new independent plumber whom I do not know. He quoted $100 to replaced the spout and fix the leaking handle. Obviously, when Thomasson Enterprises called today, I was very upset, and I had a few choice words about companies that try to take advantage. This could have easily been handled with an apology for not quoting the upfront fee and letting it go. Lastly, no one ever offered to even apply the fee to the repair as most do. Not that it would have mattered in this case. This is very telling...they knew once I received a new quote, it would be over. Girl in the office talked over me and tried to say my plumber whom I did not know was doing me a favor and more. She does not know him either! Really...come on. Shame!

Dean was awesome. He treated my home like his home and recommended the best resolution to replace and install my AC unit. House Call Company is the Best!

Its always a pleasure to deal with this company and their employees, Mr. Jensen originally helped my family with our first service call when our water heater broke and it's nice that a year later he's the face that comes to do regular maintenance checks on the service he provided for us. Very thankful for the company.

Patrick was very helpful in explaining every step of the repair to me. He came out to diagnose a leak and by the end of the day he had the problem fixed. I did not expect to get a same day repair and was delighted when he informed me that he could be done with all of the work the same day. He also gave me a courtesy call 40 minutes before he came and insured that I was at home. This is a great company with great customer service.

Great staff! Jasmin got back to me exactly when she said she would. Dean showed up shortly after and was very friendly and explained everything. He had Patrick show up to help out replacing my water heater. They worked quickly but very meticulously throughout the job. Never tried to upsale me or pressure me into anything extra. Best experience I have had with any service company in all of Hampton Roads!

Knowledgeable, professional, and honest. This is a great company that understands that taking care of the customer is the first priority. This is the only company I will use for these services. They are absolutely the best.

This should be a zero star rating but that isn't possible. I had Leann out to my home and that was a total joke. She is supposed to be their interior remodeling person but she knows nothing about interior remodeling. She was late, she didn't know what to measure or how to measure, she could not answer my questions and was rude to me and disrespectful of my property. She tracked mud in, set sharp items down and slid them around on my counters, touched my walls with bare hands and left finger prints. The woman needs to go back to the barn that she was apparently raised in. After all of this I called the office and spoke to Jasmine and asked if someone else could come out who actually knows what needs to be done. When the answer was no I asked to speak with someone in management which was also met with a rude and resounding no. This company is a joke, I'm sure a person who knows nothing about the industry or remodeling could be persuaded to use them and they would have a real disaster on their hands with Leann at the helm of their project. Also, when their price finally came in, they were 3x higher than the next highest estimate I got.

After talking to a few others companies about taking care of my damaged subfloor, House Call Company offered the best price. Dean came out after the project was started due to the damage being more than anticipated but the additional cost was still lower than the other companies. And Jaszmyn reached out by phone to schedule the project ASAP. Great company and staff. Will most likely be using this company in the future for other services and upgrades.

I love this company. They are so helpful, responsive, and responsible. They don’t try and up-sell me things I would never want/need nor do they claim something needs to be done that doesn’t. Basically they are honest. If you want a great general contractor / a jack of all trades company so you only have one number to call of something breaks, you can’t go wrong with House Call Company.

The appointment was scheduled for 1 pm on Saturday. About an hour and a half before I received a phone call from Lee Anne saying "I don't know why they scheduled me on Saturday. I don't do this on Saturday." Since I live three hours away, this was rather frustrating and very disappointing.

Doug Jenson was professional and sincere. He listened to me rant about my current frustration with delays and offered some helpful suggestions. He would make a good shrink. LOL. Thanks Doug!

Working in the building industry myself, knowing when someone doesn't know their trade well, I have to say Dean is extremely knowledgeable about the facets of construction that currently need attention in my house, HVAC & carpentry. He was most courteous, offered suggestions for improvements to designs & ways to reduce costs. All around a great experience.

Friendly call staff and quick bookings. Service tech was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. Quick repairs and went over everything they had to replace instead of hiding extra work to charge more. Great company and staff, would definitely recommend.

Dean and his team have been great. After Dean took the time, through multiple conversations, to explain different strategies, I feel like I have a firm grasp of the plan and options, so that I can make an informed decisions. Definitely a great group to work with!

We bought our system directly from House Call Company. We later joined there membership maintenance program and were told someone would call us to set up a cleaning. It has been a disaster! Once we signed on and paid our first 2 months of membership they never sent anyone out to clean our system to verify that it was running properly. When our AC acted up in 100 degree heat in July they blamed us for not setting up the cleaning and voided our membership. The office staff was extremely rude and dishonest about the membership and accused us of harassing them after no returned phone calls. To avoid having to honor their membership agreement they cancelled our contract and refused service. I do not recommend their company to anyone.

Even though they seemed friendly, the estimate was $189/hr, and said it would take about an hour (so I’m thinking 2hrs tops), I ended up paying over $1,100!!! Instead of starting at the breaker, the one quick place which could lead to all issues in the three rooms, he went outlet by outlet and fixture by fixture...

Exceptional in every way. Not cheap, but very-very good. Diagnosed an issue that had been troubling our AC units for a year. The technician and sales manager were both at a level of HVAC understanding I have not seen in the past. Call them if you need a real answer for a real problem.

House Call sent someone to our home regarding a few home inspection repairs. I was told beforehand that there would be an $89 Dispatching fee but that I would receive a quote for the work. When the day came for the appointment, the guy showed up 45 minutes early, without informing me. The technician took the list of repairs, walked through the house for about 10 minutes and the told me he needed to go back to his vehicle to contact his boss. 10-15 minutes later, he came back in the house to see about my availability the following week. He informed me that I would receive a quote at the next appointment and then I’ll make third appointment to have the work complete. For $89 I received nothing, no insight regarding the work, no quote and nothing complete. A complete waste of time.

Brand new HVAC system was installed less than a year ago. About 11K in price. A month ago maybe 2 tops, AC was acting up. So house call came out. Said there was a Leak. So tech did his thing & fixed it. Well guess what NEW HVAC system is acting up again. Just called. Explained everything an they said I would receive a call back. I asked if it would be today an got no guarantee. Absolutely ridiculous. 2 months after they came out the system is messed up again......Waiting on that phone call.

Our technician (Justin White) was courteous and professional. He explained all services to be performed and the cost associated to each.
Our only problem so far is that the service was performed on March 1st, but we have never received an invoice or confirmation of receipt of payment.

Man I feel robbed. Gentleman said he would unclog the main line for 100 bucks. Sounds to good to be true. It was. He put a 6 inch pc of plastic in my bathtub and said sorry can’t fix it like this. Gonna be $567.00 an hour. I straight up asked him so I pretty much wasted 100 bucks. His response was yeah pretty much. Please don’t be fooled by them.

We had another great service call from House Call Company. Gunnar quickly performed the basic service. He answered quite a few of my questions and was professional, COVID-19 safe, and polite the whole time.

I was truly set off with this last visit when my experience with them went from simple system checks to trying to sell me replacement parts ($20 valve for $210 installed) and a replacement system (hot water heater for $2150) at outrageous prices. Can we're start low and work or way to the state of the art?

semi annual check up of AC and Heating. Patrick handled the job well, was courteous and competent. A follow up repair on two units went equally successful. I have been with House Call for a very long time and recommend them.
