Mr. Horn was an absolute pleasure to work with I live out of state and this was my parents home and I put a request in for an emergency repair for a roof. He reached out to me immediately and was able to set up a free estimate for me later on that day he provided pictures and options for the work that was discussed and the thing that I appreciated the most was, he didn’t try to upsell me on the most expensive option He was very knowledgeable, polite, and efficient

After the work was completed, he sent me pictures over of the Work It’s been about two years since he performed the repairs and a leak that other contractors failed mr. Horn did not I highly recommend this business and will be using his services again this fall to do some house painting.

George professionally and throughly explained the issues with our patio overhang as well as a leakage issue in another part of our roof from a complete roof replacement another company had done just five years prior. George was honest with us from the outset and at no time did we feel we were being “sold” a new roof that we did not need. The install crew arrived promptly every day, worked hard all day, were very pleasant and accommodating to make sure we could get our cars out of the garage when needed. It was a messy job, and the crew did a great job of cleaning up after each day’s work. We now have a roof that looks like the crew take pride in their work and that we feel confident we won’t have issues with. At the recommendation of our neighbor, we hired the Horn Brothers LLC to paint the exterior of our home. Our neighbors had recently had their home painted by them.

Great decision. We cannot relay how impressed we were with this organization and highly recommend them. Their entire team were great to work with. They were punctual, careful, hard working friendly and very professional. These guys know what they are doing and have been doing it for over 20 years. They did the job perfectly and quickly with little effect on our lives and cleaned up everything so we never knew they were here except for the impressive paint job.

We found a trusting roofing expert in Horn & Sons. George was quick to deliver an estimate few years back as I was looking at a solar project install and were looking to get our roof done before panels went up. We ended up not going solar but still wanted to get our roof done few years later. George provided a fair estimate considering price increases. We had our roofing underlayment replaced on our tile roof. His team had our home completed within 3 days and always had the trash and debris picked up at the end of the day. George arrived on time for the tile/sprayed roof inspection. Evaluated the sprayed part as good for another 2 years and strongly suggested that the tile roof of 40 years needed to be removed with a new batten frame and felt installed and resetting the terra cotta tiles. Quoted a competitive price (had 2 other quotes). Agreed and was ready to begin in 1 week. His crew arrived at the agreed upon time, 6:30 am. They were courteous and very efficient, able to complete it in one day, cleaning up the area with no problems.
I was impressed with Georg'es professionalism and demeanor. Felt extremely comfortable with him and the crew. Some of the other bidders tried to nudge me into having the roof resprayed (for no particular reason) or quoted a significantly higher price with not being able to start for 3-4 weeks.
In summary, George and his crew performed beyond my expectations and would recommend them in a heart beat.

George is very competent both at explaining what needed to be done and completing the task. We had excellent lines of communication and any questions we had during the job were resolved quickly and respectfully. We had roof damage from recent storms in the area. In addition, most of our roof was the original roof which was fairly old. The owners son came out and inspected it and gave us a written estimate of cost to repair the damaged areas vs. cost to replace it. It included all of the work that would be done as well as material costs. We opted to replace it. The workers were prompt and attentive. They did a terrific job. Afterwards, everything was cleaned up.

Because we liked the job they did on our roof, we had them paint the entire outside of the house, as well as some drywall repair. Again, the owners son came out and gave us pricing for the entire job. Again, we could not be happier with the result.

They are definitely a wonderful company to do business with. There’s no hidden costs or add-ons to deal with and their rates are reasonable. You deal directly with the owners George Horn and Sons and they are very professional and upfront about everything about the job.

Removed tile, replaced underlying materials, and replaced tile, mostly using existing tile. Work was done on time and at agreed upon price. After a pretty good storm there are no observable leaks. I'd use this company again, for any roof work needed. They also painted the exterior of the house. Again, the job was on time, and at the agreed upon price. The paint job was professional, and looks great. I'd use George Horn again, to paint for me.

They arrived at my house when promised and finished the job quicker then expected and it looks fantastic. The very next day we had a neighbor that we've never talked to come to the house and compliment how amazing it looked. We happen to agree, it looks amazing!!

While painting the exterior of our home, he cleaned the roof tiles of debris. He found some broken tiles and underlay that needs replacing. He gave us a competetive price and will work with us when we decide to have it done. We highly recommend George. He's very nice to work with, ethical and does an excellent job. His entire crew is also great.

Horn & Sons recently reroofed my 23 year-old tile roof. This included removing all tiles, pulling up battens and underlayment, installing new battens and underlayment, replacing damaged plywood, removing/reattaching skylights, recementing mudballs, installing new valleys, pipe collars, flashing and ridge enclosures, replacing damaged tiles and reinstalling all tiles.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. Owner George Horn was a pleasure to work with. I’ve never had a contractor as responsive as George. If he didn’t answer a call on the second ring, he’d call back within minutes. This is my first tile roof, and I had many questions and concerns. Although I’m sure he had other things going when we talked, he never made me feel my question/concern was silly, and I never felt rushed. If, like me, you’ve felt customers aren’t treated like customers anymore, call George Horn.

The crew cleaned up at the end of their day, were as quiet as roof work permits, respectful and friendly. All the work was completed as described and on schedule.

Horn and sons roofing did a fantastic job on installing the underlayment on my 35 year old roof. George was very professional and accommodating throughout the whole process! The crew was there every day from 7AM to 5PM until the job was done! We called all sorts of other roofers, but they all took far too long to respond and asked for far too much money when they eventually did come out to give us an estimate. George provided the most comprehensive analysis of the roofing issue that was causing a small ceiling leak in one room. Where other vendors merely did a visual scan of the roof area in question from a position on a ladder, George got ON the roof, found a chipped tile, and removed several tiles to assess the extent of damage. He provided a good summary of what he believed needed to be done and, unlike the other vendors, did NOT try to sell me on replacing the entire roof 'just in case' other problems arise due to the age of the roof (about 20 yrs.)

Work was completed as scheduled and in budget. All staff was friendly and efficient.
