Some how I got a call from this company (Homefix )couple days ago, I believe they were just cold calling. Well I was in the market to replace the windows in the house. So I accepted the offer for a free no obligation consultation. Set up the appointment and on the day of appointment I was called to confirm the time. Lauren showed up right on time, she was very professional, explained everything to detail and asked me if I had questions at the end. Me and my wife were very satisfied with the knowledge and information she provide and I am happy to Share that we went ahead to install our windows with them, at a price that we both agree. Really recommend her she is very professional and not pushing to make the sale, more likely for the client to decide. Great job Lauren, can’t wait to see my windows install.

This is a review on the estimate consultation process for replacement windows. I visited their booth at a trade show. The estimate appt was scheduled for a few days later. The company called to confirm the date and time. The sales account rep was Nick Huber. He was very personable and professional and organized. We looked at each window and he explained the issues present. He was very clear in describing how the new window would solve those issues. There are sale strategies presented but nothing unexpected or unreasonable. It was a very nice comfortable conversation.

Hired Homefix shortly after purchasing a 1964 home to replace two original windows that were badly leaking and running up our heating and cooling bills, and a sliding glass door on a bent frame that was practically impossible to slide open/closed. Jay Delinski did an amazing job walking us through our design and installation options, different financing options, and even got us an extra discount on the final price. Homefix was communicative and responsive every time we had a question, and when the materials were ready ahead of schedule, they got the installation done early! An utterly professional, seamless experience -- so good that we've just hired them for another job to replace an old exterior door. Great service, great value, great products -- the only company we'll use for doors, windows, and roofing in Alexandria.

In working through the numbers, Has recalculated the total and was able to explain the price of each window. He also offered a discount based on participating in their marketing program. Had a wonderful afternoon with Brian! Showed me the quality of the windows, explained the pricing throughly. He really cared for my family’s needs compared to other sales reps from other companies. My wife and I have been “window shopping” for a little over a year and kept pushing off the project. After looking deeper at our 40yr old windows, we knew we needed an update. The windows were leaking, and letting in small bugs, it was a no brainer that windows were next on our to-do list. While my wife and I have been discussing this throughout the month, we received a call from HCR, to see if we still needed our windows completed. We have not talked to them for over a year, and they still remembered our need. They sent over Brian the following day, (worked on my schedule not just theirs). We sat down talked, and I recognized the product from the year prior! Best of the best! Couldn’t have gotten a better price! When we ran into issues with how the loan looked, Brian had my back to make sure I felt comfortable signing. He was in my corner of “the ring” the entire time (customers being comfortable with what they are signing up for was mandatory for Brian). I got exactly what I wanted and can’t wait for the workers to come and give my house a new look! The windows alone will save me money on electric bills, but overall be a better place to live!

Brian was on time and professional. I learned a great deal about my window needs. I appreciate his assistant Zach who was very knowledgeable. They helped me find the right deal, within budget and I'm excited about it. Keep up the great work guy's.

Lauren was the associate that came to our home and completed an estimate for 3 windows and a glass door. She was very knowledgeable about products and services and had our best interest in mind when making recommendations. She was patient and very thorough. First they delivery wrong color of siding and if I known the rest I had cancell the contract. Work was supposed to be like the front and really they just continue calling with excuses to charge and charge more because a bad written contract and the seller was , I’m sorry that’s not my part etc. end up paying almost 5k more of what agreed just to get that out of my way but never will go back to this company or will recomend. They offer discount but only if you do videos testimonial like buying your opinion for a discount that is overcharged on first place . Work was done December 2021 and yet we are end of Aug 2022 and the supervisor was to come to inspect the work with us and never had show up . Go figure how their customer care is.

Adiba has just finished a complete roof sale with me, very charmingly! After signing the contract, she also bent over backwards relieving my worries concerning HOA restrictions, etc.

We had new windows installed in early August. When I say that the service was excellent, I understate. The materials they use and how the windows look has the neighborhood stopping to stare. They are like tinted windows on the house. Saved us on a/c use and are Beautifully framed, the guys installing were so nice and fast. I cant say enough. All of my new items patio, roof and bathrooms will only be done by this group. On time, responsive, flexible and I didn't have to clean anything after they left. they explained everything and the main thing is that the windows are first class. Whole experience was great. Rare good customer service! Manager followed up after the appt! Rare quality. We were helped by Adiba the whole way and she is a gift- Derika F.

Gave me a ridiculous price on roof replacement, $20-30k, for a 1500sf house. National average is $5-8k After talking to them I have started getting bombarded with calls and texts from other companies about roof replacement. I know they put my number out there, because i have literally spoken to no one except them about my roof, and do not put my phone number into websites.

I didn’t use their services, but one of their technicians came to my door to advertise. I heard them out and was interested at first, but they kept calling at the worst times. I was so annoyed that i asked them to take me off their call list. They didn’t. So I blocked their number. Now they are calling me from out of state numbers. It also sounds like scam calls when I do pick up. I’m pretty sure they are outsourcing their sales calls to a call center.

The warranty department was a pleasure to work with!!! Great service and very responsive.

We purchased a home where the previous owners used Homefix to replace all the windows and after moving in one of the window panes cracked due to the cold weather. Transferring the warranty was seamless and we couldn’t be happier with the repair work.

Please do not use this company. I have used this company since I bought my house in 2015, as the prior owners had an existing warranty when they installed the roof. Since purchasing the house they had to come out once/twice a year for the same roof leak issues in the same areas until I moved away on a reassignment overseas. While overseas in 2021, the same leak issues in the same areas were seen yet again, but this time they stated they will not fix the leak. They stated another company did work and therefore voided the warranty. The issue is that I had called Homefix to remove the solar panel, who referred me to another company to conduct the work. I removed the solar panel and they had come times after that, as their roof job is solely patch work needing to be done on a yearly basis (constant leaks). They even went further to state the warranty has expired on my roof. Please note this conversation was held before the supposedly expired warranty, and my roof was only 10 years old. I asked to see documentation of pictures and/or warranty and nothing was received. On 12/28, I reached out yet again to Homefix and S. Lancaster (aka Herring) stated she was the Director of Operations and did not have a Supervisor of whom I can speak with, as she is the highest on the chain of command. I work for the US government and to be abroad and to be treated this way is unfathomable. To make matters worse, she ended the conversation with " I don't think we are having a productive conversation, so I will excuse myself. Bye." I understand, everyone is dealing with trying times but to deal with these actions, please do yourself the favor and save yourself the headache - find another company. After all this, I hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Year, life is truly to short to be dealing with companies like this.

A sales rep from HCR came to my house to give me an estimate to replace our front door. He was drunk, rude, and so inappropriate that I literally had to throw him out of my house. HCR then sent another sales rep who apologized profusely and I did agree to have them replace our front door. It was later I realized after comparing my price with others in the neighborhood that also had their doors replaced that I was significantly overcharged. I continue to repeatedly get calls from HCR asking if I want work done on the house despite contacting the company multiple times to remove me from their calling lists. Awhile back I contacted their CEO who then had someone else talk to me, who very adamantly promised that I would be removed from their call lists. I still get calls weekly, daily, hundreds of calls every month. The callers state they are from HCR and they know my name and address, so I know I have not been removed from their call lists.

I Don't recommend these folks. Everything in the ordering process took a long time and they didn't get it right, twice. They still haven't resolved all our issues and now they have ghosted us. Next step is a BBB complaint. We've already been telling our neighbors to NOT do business with them. Gave them two stars because the installers did an OK job and were respectful. We have been dealing with them for almost two years.

I'm the homeowner. I make the decisions. Approved by HOA for a specific window type/color. 15 windows, two sliding doors, 2 garage doors. James insisted my husband be present for decisions on MY HOME. IN MY NAME. Horrible, sexist business. They lost my business. Big mistake. Huge. Not sure if they understand. I make the decisions in my home. Really, really sad. They want to make it right? Call and apologize. I took time off from work for this estimate.
2021 update. They made it right by replacing my garage doors. Friendly. Professional. Thank you.

They are the worst company ever when I try cancel in two day for the windows they send CEO and he told me I can't cancel it or I go court.

Paper said you can cancel in 3days.

They make me keep window total of $5,000. something that hurt me very bad with my finance.

Really enjoy my salesman Jim Hester as I wanted a quote not a 2 hour presentation. He was quick and got down to figures. Also got his presentation in quick and showed me how good the quality of windows were. Installation team was quick, windows look great. During installation max Wagonblast talked me into redoing my front door. It’s a good product at a good price.

Our roof was in really rough shape as were our gutters. HCR was in our neighborhood and offered to give us a free quote for our roofing project. Matt came out and gave us a quote that was entirely reasonable, was very patient with us and our questions, and very knowledgeable about roofing in general. We were 100% satisfied with the quote and decided to move forward and also did not feel taken advantage of in any way, shape, or form from start to finish. Initially we were given a 6 week turnaround but the roof was completed within 2 weeks of our quote. Maybe the initial 6 weeks is simply a standard practice to make sure they have enough lead time, but we were thrilled it was done so quickly. Our roof ended up having 3 layers of shingles and the entire decking (plywood) needed to be replaced; which I am so glad we had the wok done when we did. Some major storms literally came at the end of the day they completed the roof and soon thereafter. We ended up selected the higher end architectural shingle that can withstand winds up to 130 mph. Since we had a tornado come through town earlier in the year (albeit rare), this was a pretty good selling point. Quality materials, certified roofers, and knowing the training is approved by the shingle manufacturer were our primary concerns. There was only 1 minor issue that was resolved entirely to my satisfaction. Because the decking (again plywood) was replaced the vent from our microwave, which is vented through the roof, was not properly reinstalled after the decking was replaced. HCR promptly sent out a technician to resolve the issue and make sure the warranty would still be in force for the entirety of the roof. I probably could have fixed it myself, but I wanted to make sure the warranty would cover any issue that may arise from this area, and HCR was more than willing to accommodate. During the roof replacement we also had our gutters quoted to be replaced, which was again a reasonable price and the warranty with both the roof and gutters is phenomenal. The gutters are seamless and now don't spill over the sides like our previous gutters did. It is such a relief to know that "everything above our heads is covered" in both quality and with the warranty for the next 50 years. We can sleep well knowing that we are protected and covered both literally and figuratively in our home.

It started with them installing the wrong color siding due to an "old" sample (which I have an email from the VP admitting this). We found it the day after they started installing as we were not trying to be in their way (the box had the correct color name, so we thought all was good) & all the VP offered me was a $300 gift card not offering to rectify the bigger issue. He said they mail those once a month (tells me they have to do this more often than not). I didn't know what to do since it was already 1/2 installed. The site manager never came back out to look at it after we called. Instead they sent the sales rep to try to prove the color was the right one instead (it clearly wasn't). We have had it for 8 months & the siding has fallen off. They came to fix it & its falling AGAIN. I called customer service a week ago & no return call as of today to schedule a day/time to fix. The siding is cracked (supposed to be indestructible), the trim is hanging, the siding above our windows is bowing & there are multiple places with gaps in them around the windows due to not caulking. Most upsetting part is that I spent over $20k on siding that wasn't what we picked & that is now falling apart with no offer to replace to the correct color.

As a real estate agent -- there's so many questions your buyer has. My client was feeling really confident about putting an offer on a home & tried to see if we can get a contractor to come along and preview home with him to provide a quote. I explained my situation & Ali Hamdard adjusted his schedule due to the time sensitivity and fulfilled the appointment. Ali, you made me look like a rock star with my clients & conveyed a lot of confidence to my buyers. It's a weird place to be in the unknown but you did an EXCELLENT job of untangling those knots as you see situations like that all the time & diagnosed before you prescribed!

Wayyyyyyy too expensive. They are a complete rip off when it comes to roofs. Please please please do your research beforehand and get quotes from other roofing companies. I found out the hard way from neighbors that we were unfortunately ripped off. On top of it all, the customer service was terrible and they did a terrible job cleaning up after the job. Still finding nails in our yard and driveway months after the job....

We are very content with the quality of the product, the efficiency of the install work team and the time frame to complete our order.
Price that we paid still seems slightly high to me and I don't know how competitive it is, but me and my husband are really content with our new windows.
I recommend the HCR company and most probably we will use their service again in the near future!
