I have been a customer of Home Depot Laplace for many years. Today was the worst experience. I went in to get a washing machine. The online order Department incorrectly entered my order. Since Sunday the sale was over. I asked for the store manager. A young woman assistant manager came to speak to me. I was informed she could not honor Home Depots mistake. I told her I had a quote from another store as well. I handed her the quote. She said it was four days old and she could not honor as well. So I called corporate Home Depot and they helped me purchase at a store where the manager knew customers were important and wasn't riding his high horse making the customer feel like they were doing us a favor by taking our money. Go figure! I noticed that store has not been as busy. Now I don't have to wonder why!
