Cumbersome process to simply buy and install a storm door. Took 45 minutes and three associates to place my order. Had to wait for the contractor to come for measurements. Was told
Lowes would contact me with the estimate. Three days later I contacted the store and was told to come and buy the door and see the estimate. None of the actual estimate had been done. Spent another 45-60 minutes with two associates and the contractor on the phone compiling the door and installation cost. The door was $299.00. The estimate for the total project was $1000.00. Installation was $701. To hang a storm door! An independent home improvement company comes tomorrow to tp complete the project. Installation cost?..........$200.00.
Lowes may be a popular big box, home improvement store, but I will only go there as a last resort.
Don't even know where to begin with my frustrations with this place. If you're looking to have carpet installed take your money elsewhere. From now on I will gladly go out of my way to take my business somewhere else. Rude, unprofessional, and disorganized. This place will never get another penny from me.
