HERO Home - Lindon, UT

I love my new windows. They have provided a much needed facelift to my home which still had the original builder windows from 1984. I have noticed that the noise level from outside traffic has diminished since installation and my heat is not coming on as often. The entire process went very smoothly from start to finish. Installation day went very well. Ricky and Brandon were professional and respectful of my home. They were quick to complete the job and did a beautiful job on my windows. They both cleaned up any mess that was made during installation. I appreciate their efforts in keeping me informed throughout the process from the time I ordered the windows through the installation. I definitely recommend HERO home.

I live in a 1950s home that I'm slowly updating. It had the original single-pane windows, with a storm window installed in the 70s. Most of the storm windows didn't close properly, and only some of the original windows could be opened. They rattled in the wind, let in a lot of draft, and did little for street noise. I had already gotten bids and was actively looking for windows when the sales people came through my neighborhood, so I was prepared to sign on -- I know that's probably not the case for most people.

Pros:
-The installers were the cleanest tradespeople I've ever had (and I've had a lot of work done on this old house). They helped me move furniture I wasn't able to move and put plastic sheeting down to protect every room. Before they left, they vacuumed every single room. 10/10, 5 stars just because the installers cleaned up after themselves.
-Windows were ordered and installed within their estimated time frame
-Temperature control -- I immediately noticed a difference in rooms that got direct sun in the summer. Now that winter is beginning, the difference is even more obvious, without the obvious draft. No more saran-wrapping windows!
-Noise control -- less noise from the street gets into the house.
-I was most excited about the little latch all of their windows have, so I can leave windows cracked for ventilation without worrying about someone being able to sneak in via the window
-Installers who later came to fix one window that wasn't level were very helpful and looked at other windows they weren't there to see, and answered all of my questions/concerns
-All staff I spoke to were very kind and helpful
-I love having new screens, and being able to move them to either side of the window from inside the house.

Cons:
-Visually, I've had a hard time getting used to the thick vinyl around the window -- the windows feel a lot smaller than my old windows with their tiny metal frame. Some of it is that drastic change, but I still feel like the vinyl is thicker around the edges than other vinyl windows.
-As lovely as everyone was to speak to/work with, I found it a little confusing to have lots of different people reaching out to me, rather than just having one point of contact. The most confusing for me was their automated emails/messaging, as it didn't necessarily line up with my actual scheduled install dates, and there was separate messaging for the install team.

We ordered our windows over 4 months ago in June 2024. Installation was in August and two windows in our order were incorrect. We were promised the correct windows would be rushed from the manufacturer and we would be given priority for install to complete our job. I finally got an install date in October for my last two Windows. I even thought I would be the priority that day since I was told to expect the installers between 8-11am. I received a call in the afternoon from Cameron, the dispatcher informing me that the installer’s first job was running long and I would need to be rescheduled. I pointed out that I had the early time slot and I was supposed to be prioritized because of the last failure. I told Cameron and Tyler, the person over customer installs and satisfaction, that I was very disappointed. I still don’t have my last two windows installed.

I also was disappointed with my installation and probably the lack of transparency of the sales team. I was never told that the fins that boarder my original windows would be removed and not replaced…I now see silicon gel surrounding my windows and not the original boarder coverings. I also had damage to the stucco on the boarders of some the windows. As you can see from the pictures, the worst one shows that the installer just used more silicone to put the pieces of broken stucco back up… looks terrible.

I was promised that the stucco would be fixed, but I would have to live without the fin/boarders because adding them back in either wasn’t part of the original job and quote (I was never told the windows would lose them in the sales process) or it can’t be done because those boarders are fit when the house is built and the windows are installed with the drywall.

Our salesman isn’t with the company anymore. And I understand the installer doesn’t work for them either anymore.
Not a happy customer at this time… still waiting to see if I can get my 2 windows installed and the stucco fixed.

HERO Windows installed new windows in our townhome earlier this month and I cannot tell you what a phenomenal difference it has made both in the look and feel of our home. Our old, dingy windows were an eye sore and let in so much of the outside air that our upstairs temperature was impossible to control during all seasons. For the last month we have been able to keep the upstairs cool, while cooling the house at higher settings than in previous years. For the first time in a long time I am excited to review my energy bill! I will definitely recommend their fast and friendly service to all. The techs who installed our windows were meticulous in cleaning up after themselves, while expertly installing and ensuring our windows work properly. Our home feels lighter and I am extremely pleased with my purchase. Thank you!!

We ordered four windows and a sliding glass door from Hero back in March. I had almost forgotten about it until I was called to schedule the install. The weird thing is that I had gotten another call for an install of a door, but let the person know that I had already am on the schedule for my order. It turned out my phone number was on a different customers order. That was for starters.
Yesterday was installation day. The two windows for the basement were installed fairly quick, but when the sliding glass door was about to be put in, it was realized that the door was going to be opened in the opposite direction as the original door. Our light switch is on the wall to the right of the door and the door would have to open from the other side, and we would have had to rearrange things in the living room. It was offered that we would get a partial refund if we wanted to keep the new door, which I refused. When looking at the other windows that were yet to be installed, they were going to be opened from the opposite direction as the original windows as well. Actually ALL the windows were that way. I assumed the windows would open in the same direction as what we already had. Man, I was wrong to assume that. The installer was super helpful and called corporate right away to mention how the windows were opening in the wrong direction. When looking at the order, it looked right and was told that when they do measurements, they go from the exterior on how the windows open. On our home, the back door going into the home opens left to right, and the windows open right to left. Everything was flipped, hence opening in a different direction. Since the basement windows were already installed I told them we would deal with it, even though I truly regret saying it as they will not be uniform with the other windows. We were not offered any other discounts for the mess up. We do need a few more windows but I am extremely hesitant on ordering from this company again with those orders due to the mistake that was made. I will say the windows in the basement do look really nice even though they do open from the opposite direction from the others I
in the home. I would be hesitant when purchasing from this company. One thing that I did forget to mention is that when the sales guy did come by our home, we had to make a decision right then and there to get the windows in order to get the discount we did. We wish we were able to shop around other companies as well to compare pricing.

Brodi was great to work with. Pricing was within budget for what we were looking for. Installers arrived on time, were friendly and very clean. Our house looks so much better with these new windows.

The salesman was very organized and concise in explaining their roofing system. Once the actual roofing started they were finished within a week. There were a couple of communication snafus but they were quickly taken care of. We are very pleased with the look of our roof and are looking forward to not having to worry about it anymore with the 50 year warranty.

I got my door today and I am in love! Installation of my door and windows was a breeze and done extremely well. Jeremy and Brad are excellent at what they do for installation!

First, I found the sales people very pleasant and professional. They explained their products well. The fourteen windows and a sliding patio door we ordered, upon delivery were installed in two days as promised. The windows and door were treated with care and there was no damage to the exiting window trim inside and out. When the job was finished it looked like the windows had always been apart of the original build but a much higher quality was obvious to see. I am over joyed at the quality of Hero Home windows and doors.

I must say that Darrian and Jaime, the installers, exhibited amazing skill and knowledge in replacing the windows and door. They were meticulous in making sure that the windows were centered, secured and caulked properly. They made sure to check every aspect of the sliding door, from glide to a smooth closure as well as the lock properly positioned and functioning precisely. To my surprise and gratitude, they reinstalled my secondary security lock from the old door onto my new door. Jaime and Darrian treated my home like it was their home.

Finally, I would just like to say that I never leave reviews online, but Hero Home more than deserves one from me. This company is outstanding in customer service, quality of products, and making sure the customer is satisfied. Hero Home I will gladly recommend your company to anyone!

We are very happy with the siding. Kevin was polite and easy to work with. Our only complaint is with communication. We were told we would be contacted a few times before install to keep updated about the process. When we hadn't heard anything, we contacted them and found out we were already on the schedule. Luckily, it was still a week out and we were able to prepare.
We had also discussed to have the installers set-up on the side of our house where they would have access to power and we would still have our driveway. Well, the installers set-up in our driveway.
The job has also been complete for a few weeks and we haven't heard from Hero again. I guess they got what they wanted and we got what we wanted. But, overall, we are happy with the product and we think it looks pretty good.

New windows and no cold drafts. Jeremy and his partner were extremely efficient and courteous in the window installation. The took extra steps to clean all of the work areas. They arrived on time and finished in less than a day. Job well done

We had our windows replaced a few months ago. Over the last 2 months, I've been pleased to not be feeling drafts by the windows, to enjoy a more consistent and even temperature throughout the house, and to be able to use windows that aren't sticking and unusable.

The installers were quick and super professional in cleaning up their messes. They explained the whole process of what they were doing before hand and afterwards gave demonstrations of how some of the unique features of our windows worked.

We also had them replace a sliding glass door. While that was not originally going to happen on the day of install because the door hadn't arrived yet, when they found out that it would arrive the next day, they were quick to schedule that install time the next day as well. When some trim work around the door didn't match with the rest of the trim in the home, they quickly came back and fixed it.

I am overall extremely pleased with the product and the team that helped us with getting our windows and door replaced.

They replaced our 64 year old windows original to our house! They were great to work with, very helpful and professional, instal was quick and done in just a few hours! The windows are beautiful and it's nice not to feel the air that came through the others and no longer get ice growing on the inside of our house!

Today the windows on the back of my house were replaced by Hero Windows. They are beautiful and I was pleased by the quality workmanship and friendliness of the installers. When they completed the job they cleaned up the areas they worked in. All in all, I am very pleased with the entire process and would recommend this company.

Had a good experience with HERO. They are all really friendly to work with and do everything they can to meet our needs. They were really patient with us as we worked through a bunch of HOA issues. Install went smooth and the windows are really good quality. There were some miscommunications with the HOA that we are still working on resolving and they are jumping through a bunch of hoops that they shouldn't have to to help take care of us. Only main complaint is that there are two specialty windows in our home that their manufacturer doesn't produce so we couldn't replace them along with the others. Will update when the HOA issues are resolved

We are very pleased with our new windows. Jacob was very respectful and courteous when he came for the initial consultation. The installers were very professional and fast. They put down floor coverings for cleanliness and cleaned up very well when they finished. We noticed the difference in the temperature inside the house right away! The heater doesn't run nearly as often, and the house stays perfectly comfortable. We are excited for more friendly power bills this summer! From the outside, our new windows give our home a more modern look with nice trim and tint. The neighbors are jealous. Thanks, HERO Windows!

I’ve got my windows! They look so good. Hero Windows had been great to work with both pre and post install. The installers were professional, they covered my carpets, and cleaned up all the way to a vacuum jus In case. The install went perfectly and they took their time to get things just right. I was very impressed and I got a tour of how to use the windows and what information to save for energy rebates, etc. My house is already warmer and I can tell the outside noise is so much quieter. A neighbor stopped by and read all the information on each window and was impressed at the ratings. I’m so happy! Take a look at my pictures below. I love how much light the sliding French glass doors bring into my home.

Horrible customer service. They don't answer the phone and they don't return your messages. They replaced some windows, but measured a few of the windows incorrectly and said they would reorder them and put a rush on the order. Still waiting to hear when they'll be back to finish the job.They have been called a number of times, leaving messages. But still waiting for a response. No way to treat an 83 year old!

They went above and beyond when working with us to get new windows. They took the time to answer all our questions, help us with our options that met our financial needs, kept us updated throughout the entire process - and when they actually installed the windows they were respectful of my family in the home, our space, and were SO FAST.
We love our new windows and the quality is amazing and can already feel such a difference in our house temperature. I would recommend these guys to anyone.will be uploading photos soon!

They were super fast on install day. I love my new windows. My home feels warmer and I can no longer hear any road noise not even the garbage truck! My doggy approves as well! The large windows are beautiful. So happy to be rid of the grid pattern. Love that windows can open left to right or vice versa. Can’t wait to see how much cooler my west facing rooms will be in the summer.

Hero Windows Review

The process from start to finish was fairly smooth. Lexi was the first person who contacted us and she seemed genuine and wasn’t as pushy as some other salespeople we’ve talked to, but she was persistent that we at least schedule some time to talk to someone about their product.
Brady was the sales person who came to our home and gave a demonstration of the windows and the different window options with their financing options. We ended up choosing to just start with one room, see how things go, and move on to other windows in the home in the future. The financing process was fairly simple as it gets. Brady was professional and talked us through the process.
The next guy (I don’t remember his name) came and double checked the measurements and was very easy to work with. We had some scheduling issues and he was very accommodating.
The next phase was a little frustrating as the company went radio silent. We were told the windows would take 6-10 weeks to order and manufacture and it was about 12-13 weeks.
When install day came things went well. We really liked the installers, although we cannot remember their names.
One of the issues we had was there was a failure of communication between the sales team and the installers. The room that we had windows and sliding doors replaced has settled a little bit over time. We showed the sales person because if it was going to be an issue we wouldn’t have bought the windows and sliding doors. We were told it wasn’t going to be a big deal and that they’d add it to the notes so the installers could be prepared. When the installers started to work on it they were completely caught off guard and they didn’t have any notes on it. They had to work with through some items and they got it fixed. They demonstrated to us how to use the windows. They installers were great and very respectful of us and our space. They worked pretty late (after 6pm), but got the job done.
Another area of miscommunication was that my wife (who was home for most of the install) was told that if the installers were not finished before she had to leave (3:15pm), that they would clean up and come back the following day to finish. When she spoke to the installers about this they were insistent that they did not want to do that, so I had to change my work schedule around so that I could be home while they finished up the install. We were also told that the installers would be at our home between 8-10am, but they were a little later arriving at our home.
Jared came and verified that everything was completed and to make sure that we had all of the information and to finish the financing.
Overall we are very happy with the new windows and sliding doors and hope to be able to use Hero Windows again in the future when we are ready to replace some other windows.

I am so impressed with Hero Windows! They replaced all of the windows in my house. I was expecting it would take all day to complete, but the entire installation process only took three hours. The two men who installed the windows were extremely professional and nice and they left my house clean when they were finished. The customer service and communication was also fantastic. Every time I contacted Jared with any questions, he promptly responded with all the information I needed. I was so impressed with the window installation that I decided to contact Hero to replace my sliding glass door as well!

We are very pleased with our windows. We had contractor grade windows on 20 year old home and even with a new AC unit struggled to get our home down to 78 degrees on warm summer days. Our south and west facing rooms were especially warm and the blinds had to stay closed all day. We didn't really care about the look of our windows (but they do look great), we just wanted our house to be able to get cooler. I didn't expect to notice the difference so quickly. We were easily cooling our home and the A/C wasn't staying on all day trying to do its job! In fact, our house felt a little chilly in the summer because, with new windows, our A/C could easily lower the temperature to 74. We didn't experiment to see how low it could go, but our A/C wasn't working hard like it was before . Our only issue was that our installer wanted to make things look absolutely perfect and one spot of our paint was a less traditional color. Due to holidays and scheduling it did take a bit to get the final touches done. We were still pleased and could barely notice what they wanted to touch up anyway.

My family and I have had a SUPERB experience with HERO Windows. They came to our house knocking on our door to advertise their service. I was unable to open the door at the time and asked the representative to leave a brochure or a business card and I would call back.

The representative abided to my request. My husband and I set up a time for the HERO Window representative and sales representative to come by to learn more about the company.

HERO Windows is not the average window company. HERO Windows helps their workers to better themselves. The company is a human transformation company that creates heroes through door-to-door window sales and leadership development. Not only did my husband and I liked what the company stands for but really liked the windows as well as the safety features.

We have come to find that HERO Windows and their contracted partners were extremely accommodating to our schedule and our requests.

Our windows have definitely had a wonderful facelift that help put more value in our home.

Jayden, Rylan, and Keaton did an absolutely fantastic job installing my windows. They were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The windows are great and are keeping my house cooler on hot days.

All of my interactions with Hero employees have been positive, however they could have been a little more proactive and frequent in their communications after I signed the contract. They are a little behind in terms of modern marketing and communication methods… I think they could be using email and text more effectively to stay connected with customers and improve confidence in their business throughout the customer journey.

All that said, it was a positive experience overall and the windows are beautiful!

Tyson and Tyler were great. We had a couple of issues with the install and communication. But as soon as Tyson and Tyler found out they got right on it and got the issues fixed and were really apologetic about things. The way they handled things made all the difference. We love our new Hero Windows - we have already noticed a drop in our air conditioning usage. Workers were very knowledgeable and installed in one day. They left the areas clean and instructed us how they tip to be able to clean. Being able to clean them from the inside of my house is great for our upstairs windows.
