I was impressed with their response time. I called on Friday morning and they were out the very next day to take a look and give us a quote. The Owner of the company Kevin was professional, friendly and was able to figure out the problem right away. We had a bad leak, that caused excess water damage.

Working with them was so easy. They organized everything really well. They effortlessly coordinated the plumbers, dry wallers, tilers, flooring, ect to restore our home. Everyone was on time, respectful, and well skilled. This was a huge relief to have someone have so many great contacts, so it could be a one stop shop experience.

I felt very safe and secure with them working on our home. They had to do some repairs while we were out of town and used locked box on our door. They treated our home like it was their own and everything was kept clean and secure.

I am so happy we found this company. I would highly recommend them and would use them in the future if we ever have any other repairs come up for restoration.

Do not use this company, they quoted me a price for cleaning my smoke damaged walls and broke their quote down to show why they were quoting that price. When they came out to clean they were only there for 6 hours and didn't use any of the supplies they quoted me for. I waited over a month to receive a bill and out of concern I called them when one still didn't arrive. I was only able to get a receptionist on the phone and she said she'd leave a message with the manager. I did this 5 more times with no call back so finally I got angry enough on the phone that the manager called me back. All he could tell me was that he would look into it and call me back. Guess what didn't happen, a callback! It is now mid November, services were rendered in August, and I recieved an email telling me if I pay my invoice by the end of the week they'll knock $200 off. How can I pay an invoice when I still haven't recieved one? Find a company that is better managed than this to work with, trust me! It will save you a ton of stress.

We noticed swelling in our wood laminate floor and discovered that our water heater had been leaking for some time, ruining the sub-floor and soaking the sheet rock. We called Heritage Restoration and Kevin was at the house the same day & had a crew working on it the following morning. They did a very professional job and it looks like nothing was ever wrong. The section of sheet rock that had to be replaced perfectly matches up with the existing sheet rock. We would definitely use them again (although we hope we won't have to)!

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
