Heartland Roof & Gutter

Heartland is very professional and knowledgeable. They were great to work with and really helped us work with insurance when insurance wanted to deny our claim. Just an overall great experience, very stress free and would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to have their roof/gutters replaced!

Completely agree with previous customer, Jan. Pretty much what happened to her about a year ago, I also experienced with this company. Poor communication, poor follow up, and I ended up paying more than what was initially quoted with NO payout from insurance. Once I paid my deposit I heard nothing and I always had to follow up with them. Took them months after I've already paid my deposit, to come out and fix my roof. The only reason why they came was because I told them I'm looking into another roofer. It's my error that I should have looked into other roofers instead of just assuming these people are actually looking out for me as they presented when I first spoke with them. After they repaired my roof and paid them the remaining balance, I found a few cosmetic flaws that need to be fixed. They said they will come out the follow week to fix it, and guess what? They never showed or ever called back. Lesson learned. Do your homework and talk to more than one company, even if they were highly recommended.

Heartland Roof & Gutter did a high-quality job. It was the middle of the rainy season so they didn’t have a lot of time. The crew worked hard and were professional. Brayden was great to work with and helped us choose the product that was best for us. His quoting process was straightforward, easy to understand, and included options. Would recommend them to anyone looking to get their roof repaired or replaced in the Wichita Area.

Gary and Jarod came out about 4weeks ago to do the estimate.Set up a day after Labor Day week was over. Material delivered on Monday, and Tuesday job was started completed and all cleanup done in 12 hrs. Excellent job by all. I highly recommend this company.

Heartland installed gutter guards on the house and a new roof on our wood shop that had storm damage. I am happy to say the work is all done and they did an outstanding job with the roof and repairing some water intrusion spots we had in areas of the house! I have to say they went above and beyond with some of the repairs that were needed. Many thanks to the crews that did our work! Thank you!

Had a roof emergency the beginning of May. Called them realizing it was late in the afternoon and raining. A couple guys came out, put a couple patches on the roof ( that did nothing) . Said someone would be over in the morning around 8-8:30. No show!. Called again asking for an estimate. Was told someone would be out to look at the roof for estimate. No show!! Barry talked to my husband , made plans to come look and or send someone. Again no show. Made a date to come meet with my husband. Day comes No show and a call of a family emergency. Then NOTHING more from our Pal Barry!!. If you have a small roof project don't bother with these guys. Obviously they weren't going to make millions off of us so they just blew us off.
I would not recommend unless you have a million Dollar home that needs a million dollars worth of work.
Wouldn't even have been a 1 star but had no choice.

Had them install gutters on my barn. The company was very professional, transparent and completed the job in a timely manner. The result looks very finished. Will definitely use them in the future for our gutter/roof needs. Definitely recommend Heartland Roof and Gutter!

I had a leak near the 1922 chimney in my house - Heartland Roofing gave a reasonable estimate, fixed things quickly, and came back to talk to me when I had questions. Overall - a great experience. I will use them again.

I needed a total roof replacement on house and garage. Heartland was immediately responsive and has gone above and beyond dealing with the insurance claim for me, even though State Farm has been very difficult. Everything was explained in detail from the inspection all the way through, so I trusted them completely. The new roof and replacement of old venting is awesome! They were quick, efficient, and all of the crew were respectful and professional. The clean up was super too, as I haven’t noticed a single nail or any piece of anything after they were done.

Heartland was very helpful in getting my roof replaced. They were very professional and the work was done in a timely manner.

My experience was very positive with Heartland. I had a total tear off and replacement plus decking replacement. Barry came out and rebuilt the porch roof frame where a tree had come down on it during a storm. He and the crew arrived on time and finished quickly while doing a magnificent job. When they finished they did a good cleanup in my yard. The roof looks great and has held up well to date. I would definitely recommend this company.

Jared Barbee with Heartland Roofing is the guy to call and get your roof taken care of. He provided a simple breakdown of what needed done and what the cost would be. Very friendly and professional, five stars!

Jarod and his team have been absolutely great to work with on time meetings and communication. They came in and replaced the whole roof in one day without looking like they were there afterwards. Highly recommend Highland Roof and Gutters and will continue using their service on other projects.

Heartland Roof and Gutter took on my wind repair project. Other roofing companies failed to even uncover underlying problems during thier estimates. Even the insurance adjuster missed it. My roof fell under an ordinance by law roof restoration. His experience with insurance companies and city codes ended up saving me close to $20,000 in the end. It was a lengthy project. It had to be to get this job done right and Barry always made sure it was handled. I highly recommend Heartland roof and gutter if you need the repair done right.

I contacted Heartland Roof and Gutter after receiving wind damage to my roof, and I can't say enough positive things about Barry and his team!! This was my first time filing a home-owners insurance claim and wasn't sure what to expect. There was extensive back-and-forth with my insurance company not wanting to pay out, but Barry never gave up on me or my claim. I wouldn't have blamed him had he walked away from the job because of the amount of time it took to get things straightened out with State Farm.

Highly recommend Heartland Roof & Gutter. Barry and his team were very responsive and professional with our roof replacement. Heartland is easy to work with and is open with all communication. As expected with any large project on a 127 year old house, we had a couple extra issues that needed fixed along the way and they were up front with what needed done to avoid surprise costs. We got a great price with great service.

Very good experience with Jill. She actively pursued everything we needed to get the job done. They fulfilled everything I needed them to do and the quality of work was very high. She and her team informed me of options and upgrades. We ended up going with a ridge vent and have been extremely pleased with its performance. The crew stresses clean-up. Very friendly and excellent customer service! New roof and gutters look great and they even had the terra cotta color we wanted to compliment the color of the brick on our house. Great cleanup as well and no trash or nails found!

During the spring, rainy season our roof began leaking. So much so that it was running a long path in our attic down into our house through a smoke detector. I called Heartland and they sent Stacia for an estimate. Stacia and her team were very friendly and professional. I was given a reasonable estimate and the repairs were done quickly. We have had no more leaks or problems since having Heartland out!

Barry, the owner, personally came out to inspect our roof after a storm came through and even came out when the insurance inspector came to do his inspection after we put in the claim. He was able get them to replace the entire roof instead of just fixing the damage! I was so glad he was there because I probably would not have been able to convince the inspector on a replacement since I have no leverage when it comes to expertise in the roofing field. Working with Heartland Roof & Gutter made the normal insurance hassle a breeze and the rest of the process and work was equally superb!

We've been through the roofing gamut: independent roofers, fly-by-night roofers, do-it-ourselves roofing, but hands down Heartland beat out everyone. Why? Because of Mike Locke, Heartland's rep, with Tony's roofing team. Mike represents the company very well and makes good on his promises. Tony and his team did a great job in little time not only replacing the roof, but installing ridge vents and skylights. The gutter guys followed a couple days later. I've waited to review to make sure all systems survived the next couple of hail storms and Kansas winds. They did. Neighbors have complimented the look, too. Mike made it easy for us and communicated so well, there was never a question unanswered. We are very happy we hired Heartland to do the job!

A recent hail storm tore through my neighborhood. Fortunately my house did not receive the worst hail damage in the neighborhood but was still pretty beat up. I called Wichita Roofing and Remodeling first thing Monday morning and they said they would be out by the end of the week. In an attempt to get several quotes, I also called Heartland. Heartland was able to get out to my house that same day. Wichita Roofing and Remodeling never got back in touch with me and never went out to my home for an estimate.

The representative that came out from Heartland was Mike Locke. I had never been through an insurance claim so he was a tremendous help due to his willingness to carefully explain insurance laws, the claim process, all the way up to production and beyond. He was available any time I had a question or needed something and he was always timely in getting back with me. Mike and the Heartland team gave the best customer service I have ever received from any company. The customer service was so good in fact, that I felt like their only customer.

Mike worked hard to get me an upgraded shingle and even took care of some non-storm related work that needed done. Mike caught a one thousand dollar error in my favor that the insurance company had made and made sure I was well aware of the cost of everything before production. After all was said and done, I ended up paying nothing out of pocket due to his diligence.

I will recommend Heartland Roof & Gutter to anyone who needs work done on their home and I will never use anyone else. And shame on Wichita Roofing and Remodeling for their complete lack of follow up professionalism. Heartland Roof & Gutter is the only way to go.
