After we filed our claim our adjustor was a joke from out of state. I have hail damage everywhere and they claim 1 dent on a tiny spot as vinyl when we clearly have metal siding. They also don’t want to acknowledge the siding that’s pulled away on the garage or dents on house and garage. We also have gutter damage. There as been lack of communication for us and for my contractor. Also Stating things from adjustor that was never stated to me our my contractor.

The derecho wrecked havoc on our house and required an inordinate amount of work to get things back, and in some instances, better than it was prior to the storm. TJ Dykstra and the Hawkeye Mutual Team has been an absolute blessing to work with. They communicated well, returned calls and emails in a timely manner and did not unnecessarily hold up progress due to lack of funding. I am very thankful for the work they have done. Well done!!

Absolutely ZERO Communication through out the entire process, so far. Not okay! I made a claim just about two months ago. Six weeks after the storm the independent adjuster finally comes out. I googled him and he was sued by the state of Nevada for Fraud a year ago....... And we're now at about two months since the claim was made and STILL NO COMMUNICATION. They haven't replied to emails or given me any answers over the phone when I call. Do Better. 0/10

I get that a natural disaster happened, and it was widespread... but they clearly had no plan to handle an event like this. I mean you could at least set an out of office response to your emails saying thank you, we have received your email.... that would have been better than nothing!

Best insurance company hands down. They are actually there for you during the times you need them. They help you get back to normal, not make you have to beg for help like most every other insurance company. Great rates, even better service.

I had hail damage done to my roof in March of 2020. In less than a week after having a roofing contractor come inspect it, I notified my insurance company. They had an inspector come check it out and said I was good to go. The next week I already received my check. I've never made a household claim and they made it a painless experience. I won't be worried about calling on them if the need arises.

I have NEVER had any issues with claims being paid, policies being correct or coverage being altered in any way unless there was a clearly identified reason. This is an honest and local company that has the highest integrity of any insurance company that I have done business with. GREAT JOB HAWKEYE TEAM!!!

My home has been insured with Hawkeye Mutual for almost 15 years. I have never been late with a payment or had any claims. Recently, I was informed that they will not be renewing my policy. TJ, the president, stated that "your house is a dump and we probably should have never been insured anyway". Wow! That is some customer service!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO INSURE YOUR HOME!!!
