Steve at GMR performance will not let you down or disappoint. I went there with a list of things that I wanted to do and he actually talked me out of doing a few things that weren't needed to maximize the performance on my 2021 road glide. After a few discussions we came up with a plan that saved me money and I got way more horsepower and torque than I thought was possible. He is very knowledgeable, honest and reasonable. I will definitely be referring a lot of people to him. If you are thinking about doing upgrades reach out immediately before you go to a different shop and pay a bunch more money for less power and reliability.

Steve is an absolute professional and his knowledge is unmatched. I brought my 2023 FLTRXS to him a few months ago because I started to notice the bike felt like it was running hot and was underpowered for the work I had done to it. Last winter, I installed a cam (brand doesn’t matter), supporting mods, and a base calibration from a known source (company doesn’t matter) who stated I did not need to get the bike on the dyno as the map was good for my set up. I rode the bike for about 25,000 miles before I started to notice the issues with the bike. I brought the bike to Steve and after a lot of troubleshooting between time on the dyno, swapping cams, and exhaust to try to determine what the issue was, we decided to pull the motor to further diagnosis the problem. Turns out, the calibration was off, rings failed and the crank was sticking - all of which contributed to the issues I was having with the bike. Steve took the time to listen to what I needed and wanted out of the bike, and made the recommendations to build a solid engine that will do what I want. Steve did not try to upsell or charge for anything extra, and took the time to get the bike back up and running better than I’ve ever known it to. I’m extremely happy with how the bike came out and know I have a reliable bike that was done right from a mechanical and tuning perspective. Steve spent countless hours he could have charged me while going through this bike and didn’t because he is truly a customer oriented business owner. 10/10 recommend - you won’t find a higher quality, more knowledgeable and honest performance motorcycle shop around. Steve is a class act! Very knowledgeable. I had a can map from a very well known company. After much research and recommendations I made the 540 mile one way trip to GMR. The so called component matched map was not so matched. Aggressive timing issues and lean fuel issues. Robbing power and contributing to lower efficiency.
My bike is a different animal now. Runs amazing. Once again, thank you Steve.

Steve is THE MAN when it comes to Harley performance and tuning. My bike has been to a few local tuners and the dealership for tuning on my S&S 128 kit on my 2019 Road Glide. They have always fallen short on power and delivery. I just got my bike back from Steve and DAMN!! This is a new machine! I have new found power below 3000 RPM that didn't event exist. I was always keeping my engine speed above 3000 RPM before this tune and now it is so nice to ride! He even found an additional 14 HP and 8 LB FT torque with just a tune. Thank you Steve, Brittany, and the GMR crew for taking such great care of my bike. I'm happier than I have ever been with it.

Very happy with my bike after picking up from GMR. I had his 132 package installed with SS crank and cryo heat trans. Extremely pleased with the results. Customer service and workmanship are top notch.

A little late to the party as my bike was completed months ago. Nonetheless Steve did an amazing job on my 2017 street glide. He made all the recommendations and I listened. So happy I did!! Steve did an amazing job on my 2022 Roadglide 124” build, he recommended the parts that would work best, was straightforward and honest in everything he did, finished when he said he would, it runs like a scalded cheetah now and extra kudos cause he’s a family guy and took my 4 yr old daughter for a ride on his Grom and then let me. Steve at GMR is a tuning wizard. I’ve now had 2 Harleys worked on by his shop. Latest is a 2020 Low Rider S with the Milwaukee 114. Exhaust, cams, intake, air cleaner and TTS tuner. 124hp/134tq at the wheel. Better than that, the tune is perfect. It runs better than factory with no popping or dead spots. He’s the best I’ve found in almost 20 years of riding and upgrading Harleys.

I needed a drive belt on my softaiil in a hurry. I got my motorcycle in on Monday morning and Steve ordered the belt immediately. The belt didn't show up until after 4 on the following day. Steve worked late and had me on the road by 9 the next day. Excellent job and even though I was 1200 miles from home Steve treated me as an old friend. I would definitely recommend Steve and his shop to anyone needing work on your motorcycle.

Professional. Straightforward. Honest. These are the words that come to mind when speaking with Steve at GMR Performance. From the very second I met him, I got the sense that he was plugged in to the issues I was having with my bike, which were substantial. I am no mechanic, but he broke down the science so that I was able to understand everything that was happening, and brought me in to his shop several times to show me in detail and to take pictures so that I was thoroughly aware of the steps necessary to get my bike together. This was a very sentimental issue for me as it was my father’s bike, he passed about two years back from cancer. Steve was able to take this older motorcycle and put it back to working condition. It purrs like a kitten.
I want to also touch on the dyno tune capability at his shop. Now, if you want to see any wrencher or gear-head’s eyes light up, just mention dyno. I had no idea the complexity involved until Steve went through and showed me the profiling involved. He has about four screens set up on a platform with two cage fans and an exhaust fan inside a repurposed paint booth. Even though I’m no mechanic, as a tech geek I was floored to see his setup. Another note: this shop is so much cleaner and more organized than many other motorcycle shops I have been privy to.
Long story short – if you want your ride to be in the hands of a true professional, there literally is no other choice than to trust Steve at GMR with the care and attention it deserves. The man should be given an honorary Ph. D. for his skill and knowledge in motorcycle repair and tuning.
