Hatch Homes - Winston Salem, NC

Towards the end of July my husband and I contacted hatch homes for new siding project/exterior home remodeling. The office manager Gabby Scheduled us a consultation. We met via zoom audio conference/no visual with the owner Bill. Hatch homes offered their Hatch Home visualizer which is optional, but cost $100 to upload an actual pic of our exterior house and allowed us to design and get an idea of what home might look like after remodel. We eventually did get the personalized visualizer. While I thought this was a good idea, of course its just a picture and the colors on the site we’re off, making it difficult to know what it would actually look like in person. So about nine days later from the consultation we had a proposal walk-through via zoom with Bill again. Though it took bill 9 days to get back to us regarding an estimate and it was way over $20,000 for vinyl siding, trim, etc, but nothing fancy on an 1800 sqft home, we were prepared to move forward, therefore hatch sent siding samples for color choices. Then we had one more conference with Bill(This time he did have video enabled so we could see him) to go over the material and colors and basically the design, and Bill was supposed to follow up with us regarding an updated estimate and finalize all the designs; sadly that never happened as hatch homes never contacted us back despite us calling and contacting the office manager Gabby, who was also involved from the beginning and working with us. On September 23rd she sent an email stating that they were back logged in the office and they were working to get caught up and that they will get the updated proposal to us as soon as they can. So we stopped contacting them regarding that and the last we heard from them was on September 28 when I asked Gabby to modify the visualizer for us. We figured since we did pay $100 for it, we could still use it going forward as we search for a different contractor. So from the end of July to September 28th the only thing Hatch homes pretty much did was send us some siding samples. It also gave us more time to realize that Hatch homes was a bit more pricey than other companies in our area.
We’re actually not upset with them but their lack of follow through and their total disregard for timeliness is a bit bothersome. To this day we still have not heard anything from Hatch homes, Of course we don’t need them now as we already have our house redone by a different company.

Hatch Homes served as the contractor for our siding replacement project. They also provided some necessary structural repairs for water damage that was uncovered. They proved to be expert problem solvers and skilled tradesmen who take pride in what they do. Everything was professionally done to the highest standards, and we recommend Hatch Homes for their quality work!

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Hatch Homes. The process took 2 weeks and they transformed our home into a work of art with arctic white siding and black windows and black gutters. The entire process was seamless, from having our introductory call with Bill, to establishing our goals, all the way through to execution with Arnaldo and his team. The team arrived on time every morning and was very efficient and professional. Arnaldo was singlehandedly responsible for tweaks to the project that delivered a spectacular outcome. We would highly recommend siding replacement / gutter replacements for any future projects.

I cannot recommend Hatch Homes highly enough. They redid our siding and our gutters on our rather complicated modern home. The entire team was amazing from beginning to end. Bill and Gabby got the project going beautifully. The online visualization system was amazing in helping us decide what color and style to go with. Arnaldo, our site manager, was the absolute best - communicative, attentive, meticulous. From beginning to end this experience was better than we imagined. The work was done in a timely manner, there was no debris on the property when it was done, and our house has a whole new look that will last a long, long time.

We contracted Hatch Homes for a complete siding replacement using James Hardie color plus product line, and new gutters. Project was perfect. Great product, great on-site management, timely, and detailed installers.
