We had Hartlaub Construction do our roof replacement as well as the installation of new gutters and downspouts. The workmanship was outstanding. When Tucker told us that his company doesn't take shortcuts, he delivered on his promises. Tucker met with us prior to our project and spent time with us explaining the process in detail. Once the work began, the crew was very respectful and neat. They delivered exactly what they said they would. Tucker provided a very fair price and was very competitive with other companies' prices while using only the best materials.

I highly recommend Hartlaub Constriction and will definitely hire them again! Prompt communication, fair pricing for the high quantity of work, and they started earlier than expected and stayed on the job until finished: left the property without a trace, other than a new lovely roof.

We originally contacted Tucker to repair a piece of aluminum fascia that had loosened in a storm. He came the next day, made a temporary repair, and returned in several days to replace the rotting board underneath the fascia for a permanent fix. His prompt response, enthusiasm to help, professional knowledge and experience, and personable disposition impressed us so much that we asked him to come back and give us an estimate for replacing our roof. He set ladders, took photos, asked questions, and made recommendations with explanations when he gave us the estimate. His professionalism, knowledge of the work involved, reasonable price, and pleasant personality again impressed us and sold the job. He and his work crew arrived about a month later to replace our roof. They have good rapport, work well with each other, and seem to enjoy the work. Every aspect of the job was carried out with meticulous detail and skill and speed. We are very pleased with our new roof and highly recommend Hartlaub Construction.

Tucker came out within a day to provide a quote and was there to start the job when he said he would be. They had the job done in the timeframe stated and everything turned out great.

My deck was is bad condition. I needed it redone saw other decks he had done so I sent him a message. He got back to me that day and came to assess the job 2 days later and started days after that. Tucker is very honest, professional, and communicative. He showed up every day except when it rained until the job was completed. I liked that I could bounce ideas off him and get his opinions. He works hard and is very meticulous in his work. We’re very happy with our deck.

After buying our new home in August, 2020, our top priority was replacing the aged and battered wood deck that lead to our main yard. Amidst skyrocketing prices for lumber and material, we quickly realized the project was going to be way more involved than we had ever imagined. To add to the mix, finding a contractor was a logistical nightmare, as we went through multiple contractors who gave astronomical quotes with targeted completion dates several months in the future. We even had contractors agree to the project, only to back out without notice.

Frustrated and feeling defeated, we found our way to Hartlaub Construction in late 2020. Tucker empathized with our situation, and agreed to take on the daunting task of building a large composite deck IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER! In no time at all, construction was underway despite snow/ice and single digit temperatures. Tucker made this project his own, and shared our vision and enthusiasm for our new outdoor entertaining space. He even replaced six sliding glass doors in our sunroom (in just one day)! Thanks to Tucker’s determination and insane work ethic, we were able to enjoy our brand new deck at the first sign of spring (and the fun hasn’t stopped since). Looking at the finished project, we are astonished at the detail and quality of his work. While Hartlaub Construction may specialize in all things roof and gutter related, I firmly believe there is no project too big or small that Tucker can’t take on with the utmost professionalism.
