I contacted Brandon less then a week ago snd he gave me an estimate to have my roof repaired on the same day I called! I hired Harriford Exteriors do install my new roof. The team of guys came less than a week later to do the job. They were polite, professional and quick. After the job was complete, I was send pictures of the roof during the process and end result. Brandon took care of us like we were his own and just in time too. At first, he helped us simply caulk a few loose tiles down for almost no money at all. Then, upon further inspection months later by our contractor, it became clear that we needed a new roof. Who to call but Harriford Restoration! Brandon warned us that rain could miss the holes into the house but snow will find a way. They were up and at’m in a day the week before thanksgiving!

A month goes by and a fairly warm Christmas and new years. But as all northern Virginians know in their hearts, the snow usually comes due in January/February and boy did it come! Zero leaks, zero problems, 100% satisfaction with Harriford Restoration. So glad we took care of the roof while it was warm to shelter us in the cold.

The best!!! It is very difficult to find honest person these days. I called him to perform a roof inspection thinking there might be some issues, he inspected the roof meticulously send me all the photos possible and advised that roof needs no repair, he did not even charge for an inspection fee although I insisted that i pay him some.

We contacted Harriford Exterior Restoration through their website after we noticed a few shingles had blown off in a storm. Brandon got in touch with us immediately to set up a time to come out and inspect the damage. With a little information ahead of time, he was able to get on the roof of our townhouse, inspect, and replace the missing/damaged shingles all in the same morning. We could not be more impressed with the professionalism, communication, and quality of work done. We give Harriford the highest recommendation and they will be our go-to for any exterior work that we need done.

Our roof was seriously damaged by a tree taken down by a tornado, so we needed to have a new roof installed and to have the gutters replaced, along with some interior repairs. This terrific local business took care of all of it. Brandon was always helpful and responsive, and his team was efficient and meticulous in completing the work. My neighbor emailed to say that the new copper gutters were “the most beautiful gutters I’ve ever seen.”

We contacted Brandon in May of 2020 and requested a quote. He was on time for the quote and provided one quickly. We waited almost a year to actually do the work and kept in contact with Brandon to let him know when we were finally ready to do the work. His quote was very competitive. We scheduled the new roof installation for Monday November 1st. His crew was on time and did a fantastic job on the roof and with the cleanup. You could not even tell they had been here. Brandon was amazing! He was swift to respond and gave us honest feedback on our roof and actually saved us money after reviewing the documents provided to us from the inspection of our home. The home inspector claimed we needed new downspouts and gutters and Brandon pointed out that wasn't the case and saved us money in that regard. The materials were delivered on time and they arrived to begin the job on time. There were a few issues that Brandon notified me of immediately and remedied in a timely fashion with no issues. I would highly recommend this company.

Brandon Harriford with Harriford Exterior Restoration was recommended to me by a friend and real estate agent, and I could not be more pleased with the entire process from initial meeting to completion!

We moved into our new house this summer knowing that the roof was in need of help, and scheduled a time for Brandon to take a look. I explained that we were hoping to extend the life of the roof by a couple of years if possible before we did a full replacement as we were hoping to pop the roof up to gain some additional usable space but didn't want to undertake that project immediately after moving in. Brandon took that information, and provided us with estimates for both repairing the immediate needs (which also included replacing 4 badly damaged skylights) and also for replacing everything without any pressure to choose one option or another. He answered all of my questions (and I had a lot!) patiently and professionally. All of my calls were returned the same day, or immediately on the next business day (and he often responded over the weekend and evenings as well). I had wanted to talk with another company to get an estimate on the pop up before making a decision, and he was patient, checking in every few days to see if I had any additional questions, and was patient as I explained that we were looking at our options including another estimate (which was significantly higher). Mother nature took it upon herself to help us with the decision as we started getting the heavy rains, and suddenly had water coming into the house over the weekend. I immediately contacted Brandon to let him know that we wanted to move forward with the full roof replacement, skylight replacement and repairs to the gutters. Brandon was able to order all of the materials and follow up with me the next business day to give me an estimate on how soon the materials would arrive, and prioritized our scheduling knowing that we were having active leaks into the house. On the scheduled day, the crew arrived a few minutes earlier than he had indicated, were polite and friendly, and worked diligently throughout the day until some unexpected rain popped up at which point, they tarped everything, and communicated the plan for returning the next morning. They arrived early on the second day as well and worked throughout the day to complete the roof, the installation of the new skylights, and repair the gutters. They did a fabulous job of cleaning up (including inside of the house under the new skylights), and communicated with me throughout the day as I wasn't home for the second day. Brandon then checked in with me to make sure I was happy, sent photos of the roof so that I could have the birds eye view of it without climbing on it myself before sending the final bill and forwarding over all of the warranty information.

I am impressed and pleased with the entire process and would highly recommend Brandon and Harriford Exterior Restoration without reservation to anyone needing roofing or skylight installation or repairs.

I was pleasantly surprised with Harriford Roofing. These guys are on time and most importantly very honest with work they do. All materials and labor costs were upfront, they even replaced 5 boards on my roof included in cost.

When I initially found this company online, I was a bit skeptical of all the 5 star ratings, but now I'm a believer! Two days after I left the state to check on my elderly mother, I received an email from my HOA management company informing me something had blown off my roof (complete with pictures) and that it was supposed to rain later that week so I wanted to get my roof covered ASAP. That same evening I was able to reach Harriford Exterior Restoration, and the next day the owner came out to inspect my roof. The following day, the job was done. I love that Brandon (the owner) was very responsive, attentive, and patient as I asked questions from afar via text and phone. It made the experience much less stressful considering the personal situation I was in at the time. Brandon did not pressure me to go with his company after providing the quote nor did he request a service fee. He was also honest about my options. His company also took pictures and sent them to me before and after the work was done, and when I returned home, I was very pleased with the job! It was so refreshing to work with a business that still operates using old-school values which sadly is not as common these days.

I had them replace my roof a month or two ago. I thought I had left a review but didn't see it. I had three companies come out for a quote. Brandon was the first to come out but when he was done talking with me I was already pretty sure I'd be going with them. He was very thorough and took the time to go over everything with me and answer all my questions. After I got the three quotes I reached back out to him with questions and he was very responsive. The crew came early on the day of installation. When they were finished you couldn't even tell someone had been there except of course the beautiful new roof. I used Brandon and his crew to do a roof for my girlfriend last year and the job was amazing! This past week I used them for my own roof. I was told the materials would be delivered Friday morning, and they were there and done delivering it by 10 a.m. Then I was told they would be there early Monday morning and they were there at 6:45 a.m. setting up so that at the moment my townhouse community allows for construction to start, they were ready. Their Service was excellent! I had a roof leak from wind damage and age. They came out and did a temporary repair in December to wait until the weather warmed enough for install. We scheduled last week for upcoming warm weather. The day before yesterday, 1-15-20, they came in and completed the work in a day. I've had Brandon come out several times to my house to repair several issues. The first being a leak in one of the exhaust pipes that penetrate the roof. The other two times were due to gutter issues. All three times Brandon prompt and resolved my issues and his prices are reasonable. We bought a house a few months ago (our first) and were told upon inspection that the roof was missing a shingle and had some nail heads popping up. We reached out to various roofers, and Mr. Harriford came the most recommended and had the most reasonable price. When he arrived, he got to work quickly and when finished showed me pictures of the work he had done, which included caulking a few spaces he felt needed it and securing a shingle that was ready to come off. He did these extra things without any extra charge. I also had asked for an estimate on the life of the roof and a rough estimate on the cost to replace it. The roof is 22 years old, and Mr. Harriford could have easily said it was on its last leg and I would have believed him, however he said he thinks it has 2-5 years left. With contractors it can be hard to discern whether they’re telling you what you actually need, or whether they’re just hoping for extra work. I greatly appreciate Mr. Harriford honesty, and genuinely believe he is looking out for his customers. I highly recommend him and will definitely be using him in the future when we do need a new roof.
