I had the pleasure of working with Gonzalo Vargas from Mr. Handyman, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service he provided. Gonzalo was punctual, professional, and took the time to clearly explain the solutions to each task. His craftsmanship and attention to detail were outstanding.

Gonzalo expertly caulked the kitchen counters, sealed the bathtub and toilet area in the main bathroom, and patched several drywall spots that had been damaged when my Labrador Retriever was a puppy. He also painted the patched areas, securely reconnected the stair railing, reattached the towel holder in the half bathroom, and repaired part of a French door that my dog had chewed. My Labrador is now 2.6 years old, and Gonzalo's work has restored the space beautifully.

His dedication to quality and customer satisfaction was evident throughout the project. I highly recommend Mr. Handyman for anyone seeking reliable, high-quality handyman services. Their workmanship truly exceeded my expectations!

The overall job is good for now. I needed to secure two falling curtain rod brackets. The handyman came on time and secured the brackets quickly. However, after he left, I noticed that he broke one screw in one bracket and just left it in the wall. The bracket is designed to have two screws but now only one screw is working. I will leave it for some time to see how stable it is as it looks fine for now, but I do have concerns about the longevity and I’m worried it would be difficult to get the broken screw (w/o head) out of the wall if we need to replace it.

The techs at Mr Handyman, Carlos, Gonzalo and Pablo, did a fantastic job replacing double front doors on my mother's house in Fairfax. From removing the old door to installing the new one, including reusing all the hardware, everything was done in a professional, thorough manner. Highly recommended!

We feel quite reassured after Mr. Handyman’s carpenter, Gonzalo Vargas, fixed a split 7-foot long horizontal plank above our front door. The split allowed for some water to seep into our basement, so no more water, and the new, fixed plank looks real nice, too. Gonzalo also fixed our stubborn downspout and French drain; and a small cord-hole on the utility side of the house. Our house is now secure for the winter. Thank you, Gonzalo.

I needed several sections of window trim replaced on a two-story high window. The job entailed removing and replacing several sections of rotted window trim, caulking, and re-painting the trim. Additional labor was requested mid-repair, which I agreed to.

The repairman from Mr. Handyman showed up on-time and discussed the necessary repairs. He was finished with the job a few hours later, while I was still at work.

Speaking with one of their employees over the phone, I was instructed to check on the quality of the finished job. I informed her that I would not be able to check the work that evening, but would try to do so the following day.

The following morning I had several missed calls, a voicemail, and an E-mail from their offices. I was unable to contact them that morning, and by midafternoon I'd received additional calls, another voicemail, and another E-mail. I had still not had an opportunity to check the quality of the work done. I had questions concerning the invoice, and wanted to be certain of the work done.

Less-than 36 hours after the work was completed, I received the following message, " I have tried to contact you regarding the unpaid invoice for services rendered on Wednesday. Please be aware next Friday we will be applying interest to the invoice of 3.5% per month, we will start the collection process as well as pursue a judgment on the property, these terms were agreed upon and signed by you on the day services were rendered." This E-mail was sent 9:16am Friday. The work was completed Wednesday afternoon.

After a brief E-mail exchange with their staff, I paid the invoice the following day. The quality of the completed work was not what I expected and does not match what I was charged. I wish I had worked with another company for this repair.

We needed a SunSetter awning installed. Our contact at the company, Amy, was very helpful and quickly responded to our questions. We wanted service providers that were familiar with the product and they certainly were. Mr. Gonzalo Vargas, who did much of the installation, was very skilled and knowledgeable. The installation was much more involved than we anticipated due to our fiberboard siding but Mr. Vargas explained the process and we now have a securely installed awning.

Mr. Handyman fixed our dryer vent. Their technician Lopez was very professional and nice. He did a terrific job and was very neat.

Mr Lopez was excellent. I would welcome him back to do any future projects. Workmanship was great, on time and on budget without any surprises.

Mr. Handyman of Fairfax was very easy to work with both in arranging the service and while the service was completed. Their office representatives were very professional and helpful All of the workmen who visited my home were both polite and professional. The work they did was outside during a time when there were many rainy days. In fact, it was necessary to reschedule their first two visits due to safety concerns caused by the rain. The office staff handled these changes easily. When the job was completed, their work was excellent. If we need a handyman in the future, we will be reaching out to Mr Handyman.

Gonzalo did an excellent job of replacing our fallen closet shelf. It was a mess, but not a problem for Gonzalo. He solved a real problem for us.

They had a number of items on the trunk to accomplish the array of tasks assigned (wall hangers, ladders of different sizes, tools). We hired Mr. Handyman to install a Moen kitchen faucet and Badger garbage disposal. J. C. Rodriguez did the installations and his work product is Outstanding. I worked with Amy to schedule the ticket and she was great to work with as well. Their labor rates are very reasonable. We will be working with them on future handyman projects.

Needed forty framed pictures hung perfectly and the installation was quick (1h 45m), neat and tidy, and JC was very friendly and helpful, communicating his questions and clarifying every step in a way that typified the “measure twice (or more!) and cut once” approach. I am not a fan of reviews. But they did a great job on painting the exterior of my house and caulking holes. I would recommend.

I paid the company to send a professional handy man to do estimate about replacing my deck post. the guy came and estimate with eyes, not real hand work. I thought he is professional, he knows what he is doing. But at the day, the guy came to do the real work, he shoveled the ground around my deck post, and told us the post is not built as what he knows, he can't work the task any more, he needs to go back and give me a bigger estimate bill. And then charged me $260 for the work he did the day, and which I don't get any my required task done. Hello, the handy man from your company is professional as you descript, why he doesn't want to spend 10 minutes to shoveled the ground a bit during the estimate? Isn't this his job? why does I need pay $260 to cover his estimate mistake?

I had a great experience with Mr Handyman and highly recommend the company. It was easy to schedule online and I received a call back very soon after submitting the form. A technician came out within one business day to do an estimate for several minor repairs and ended up completing all the repairs during that same appointment. I really appreciated that the company sent me a text prior to arrival with the name and photo of the technician who was assigned to me. The technician, Tim, was friendly and professional, arrived right on time, and explained all the work and pricing in detail. I will definitely use Mr Handyman again in the future!

The gentleman who came to our home, hung new curtain rods with curtains and helped to hang a new tv Mount. He was professional, communicated with us throughout the entire process and made sure we personally evaluated each repair item, to ensure we were completely satisfied before leaving. Mr. Handyman has done several jobs for me, and I've always been pleased with the results. From replacing a damaged mailbox and post through reinstalling shutters and gutter cleaning to removing an old treehouse, they have done very well for me. Big shoutout to JC for his great role in more than one of these events. Mr. Handyman is my "go to guy."

At $263 for labor ($300/hour, $5/min) plus $170 for materials (Lowes on-line only wanted $61 for all parts) for a grand total of $453 to replace a MAILBOX POST I don't think I will be calling this service for anything ever again. Great service, very poor value.

Update to Response: I never said the price was not disclosed, I said it is a poor value because it is just that. Unfortunately I had an injury at the time that prevented me from installing it myself (lower back). Due to the pricing I won't be calling Mr. Handyman back for any other services in the future.

I have lived in my condo for 2 1/2 years and until yesterday have had trouble finding a handyman that I would reuse. Timothy came to redo an installation that was done poorly by another local handyman. Timothy quickly noticed that there were ways to repair the damage without doing a full reinstall which came out to a fraction of the cost of a reinstall. He even caught problems with the previous installation that I missed. Everything came out looking fantastic. If you are looking for a handyman I would definitely recommend Mr. Handyman of Fairfax and Eastern Loudoun Counties.

The costs of a handyman have gone sky high, but Mr. Handyman does a great job and is really professional. If you need such work, they will do a good job, but it's really expensive :-/.

I needed to have a dryer vent vent removed and replaced so the new dryer could be installed. Handyman was extremely responsive and had an estimate for me the day after I called. The service man was on time and answered all of my questions. He made a suggestion be
Vent replacement that increased the safety of the new vent and it looked much better as well! He was very efficient and I was pleased with the work. I would recommend them and would use them again myself if needed.

I had a window with rotten trim and bad caulk. They removed the old trim, sealed the gaps and covered the old insulation with tape and installed new PVC trim. They caulked the outside to keep out bugs and air. I am happy with the work. I need to paint and reinstall the shutters. Adding updated post work phot.

First time customer that had large glass displays wall-mounted in an office. Dealing with Amy the Office Manager for an estimate, scheduling and payment was seamless. Constant communication throughout, you receive text reminders for your scheduled date, and on the install date we received a text that our tech was on the way along with his picture. First time I've seen that and will say it was nice knowing in advance who was going to be at the door for safety reasons. The tech, Tim Kinzler, arrived on-time, was courteous, maintained a clean and safe worksite, and completed the work as promised. Pricing is competitive. Will definitely repeat as customer.

He was timely and very professional in addressing our problems. His craftsmanship is superb in every regard. Exceptional experience: Mr Handyman scheduled the requested repair for the next day. A louvered bifold door disengaged from its track when maintenance was being performed in the utility room. Mr Vargas, the technician, rehung the door but also strengthened the anchor platform and improved the pin hinge resulting in a more stable assembly. Great work!

JC replaced a motion sensor and lightning assembly over my garage doors. In no more than 60 minutes, he isolated the right breaker in the electrical panel and replaced the faulty sensor and light. I've had Mr. Handyman complete about a dozen projects at my house. They are always professional and competent.
