Harco came well recommended from a neighborhood group and we used them for new fence project. They were a pleasure to do business with. They were very knowledgeable, professional friendly, they reacted to last minute scope changes with a great attitude. We bid the work out to 6 or so firms and they were the best cost combined with the most knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Harco Fence and Deck is the best! In the summer of 2020 Harco ripped out our old chain link fence, dug out the cement footings for that fence, and made our back yard wonderful with a 6' high cedar wood fence with wide gates on the north and south sides of our backyard. Although weathered (which we really like), the fence is in the condition it was in when installed. There are no loose pickets, the gates work great, and there are no issues at all with the fence.

Back to 2020, the year the COVID was closing everything down, Harco performed their work in extremely hot weather and took all the safety precautions due to the pandemic. The installers, all 6-8 or so of them, were professional, polite, neat, and answered our questions as they installed our fence. The job started on a timeline which required patience due to scarce supplies in our area, but during the quoting process the estimated start and finish date were really close to both the start and finish date of the actual work. During the time between estimated and actual start dates, Harco remained in contact with us. That really impressed us about their customer service.

I went online to Harco's website tonight because of a small deck project we are thinking about they doing in the future. I started looking at the pictures of their various completed jobs and the fence pictures reminded me of a few years ago. Those pictures tell the story of what you are going to get with the work they do. So do the reviews I read. That is why I decided to write a review about the work they did for us a few years ago and if we are still happy with their work. Yes, we are 5 Star Review Happy!

It was time to replace our contractor grade deck that was falling apart. Mike came out and talked us through the process. He was honest and did a great job educating us on product options. We moved forward and his team worked really hard.

There was some additional work to be done post project and they showed up TWICE to make sure the project was done perfectly... even though we had paid them in full already. I was so impressed with the entire team at Harco and highly recommend them. A deck can be a large expense, but you get what you pay for with Harco... they get it done. Big fan.

Harco did my fence back in December of 2021. I had a very detailed review on here, but I cannot find it now. Harco rushed when building my fence and did a half a** job. When I told them my dogs keep getting out because of the gap under the fence, they didn’t seem to care. All they did was put some fill dirt down in some of the gaps. My dogs are still getting out (over a year later) and they refuse to properly fix my fence. I would not recommend them to anyone. The owner doesn’t care to help me and is not doing honest work.

I initially received a bid from Harco in the Summer of 2020, and Mike was incredibly professional and answered all of my questions. Then life got in the way. Fast forward to Spring 2021 and I reached out to them again. They said they would just use the previous measurements and get back to me.

Knowing that the price of lumber had skyrocketed, I was expecting a much higher estimate, but instead was pleasantly surprised with a very fair quote that was only marginally higher than the initial one.

Harco was very knowledgeable and knew about working with HOAs and utilities and were able to schedule me at a convenient time. When it was time for the work to be done, the crew worked efficiently and cleaned up quickly. The fence looks fantastic and has completely changed the way we use our backyard.

I would highly recommend them for your fencing needs.

We love our new fence from Harco. Harco kept us updated on scheduling and was very responsive and easy to work with on some complexities with our lot lines and other change requests. Their office staff and crew were very easy to work with and made sure we were informed of any issues along the way. I highly recommend them - the work was done fast but very high quality and the results are beautiful. They put in a complicated rolling gate for us that is everything we could have hoped for.

Harco came out a year and half ago to do a bid for me. Due to life emergency, I could not have them build my fence at that time. In December 2020 I had them come back out to bid the fence again, and then also to redo my wrap around porch and back porch. Both owners came out and bent over backwards to the design I wanted for my fence and porches. When I got the bid for the fence, it was only a couple hundred more than previous bid, and considering that "Covid 19" had driven the price of lumber sky high, I was more than impressed. Due to the weather, my project had to be pushed back a couple of time, but each time, I was kept up to date on when they could start. Logan was the foreman for the Fence part of the project and he had a young crew with him. They did outstanding, and were very professional. They had the fence tore down within a day, and fence post dug, setting by the next day. They worked with a couple complications I had, and were great with cleaning up after themselves. Rick was the foreman for the porch part of my project and again, he was outstanding with communication, and working with my dream for the porches. Due to my house being over 120 years old, there really could not be a definite plan, because of the house not being square. Rick and his crew had to "Play it by ear " a lot of the time due to this. They did not cut corners on any part of the build, making sure the porches were reinforced with concrete pillars, and kept communication to make sure they were fulfilling my vision on the porches. I had neighbors, and towns people stop by daily asking for Harco's business cards so they could get bids for their project. I would recommend Harco to anybody that needed a fence or porch/deck built. They really worked with my dream, and did a great job on what I wanted.

UPDATE: Had a small space between my ceiling and beam that I wanted fixed. Called Harco and they had someone out within a day to have it fixed. It was done great, matching the beam, and to my 100% satisfaction!

The guys were great. Price was awesome. The fence looks great except the bottom of the gates are uneven. Other than that, I recommend this company. And would definitely use them again!

When Mike arrived to give us a quote for a new privacy fence, the pros and cons of wood versus vinyl were discussed with absolutely no pressure tactics utilized whatsoever. The price was very competitive, and the vinyl we chose was a quality product. When it was time for the installation, the crew was extremely courteous, professional, and hard working. They treated our property with respect and cleaned up the work area each day. Mike and the crew always arrived on time which was also appreciated. We would highly recommend Harco.

Harco replaced our backyard fence last December and it turned out beautiful! They were very tidy considering the work they did and extremely friendly.

Truly amazing company to work with. I called for a bid and within no time Mike was out to offer one up. Showed us the proper way to design it and how to keep our dogs from slipping through. His team came out a couple months later (trust me when I say any GOOD fence company is backed up 2 months at minimum). They were all professional, to the point they said sir every time they spoke to me (totally not needed). Picked up their debris, packed dirt in, and honestly I never once really heard them making a lot of noise either. These guys have a passion for what they do and it shows in their work and their team. Thank you Harco!

After obtaining three quotes for a fence, I chose Harco for a couple of reasons. Their bid was just slightly higher than a competitor, but felt that Harco was very knowledgeable about city ordinances and special circumstances for fence installation. The work was very well done, and they were able to accomodate a last minute request for an additional gate. I also asked them to create an arched finish to two of the gates and they are lovely!

Never got an estimate. I had to call Harco back after 4 days of waiting for my estimate. This is a Family Owned business who thinks they have to much business to care about an individual experience. I let them know I was never spoken to and the Office Manager told me it was my fault. Customer Service was awful and office manager was nasty.

We replaced our wood picket fence, and HARCO did a fantastic job. They were responsive to our inquiries, very prompt showing up for the work each day, kept the work area pristine when finished, and the fence looks beautiful. I'd highly recommend HARCO.

HARCO just finished installing a 5 foot steel fence at my new home and we are thrilled with the results! It looks fantastic (very even, clean lines), keeps my kids safe in the yard, and is exactly what we asked for. They were very professional and completed the job much faster than I had anticipated. They did our fence last week and a new gate wouldn’t work. Mike the owner yelled at me and hanged up on me for complaining and got offended like a big baby, and threatened us to get us to court when we already paid him! If you hire him, hide your wives and don’t let them talk to this guy because he is a woman hater. What’s wrong with you?

Fair price, quality product, excellent installation experience. Simply put, the fence they built is beautiful! The great experience started with my first call to the company. The lady who answered the call was very helpful and even offered some things to consider that had not come up in my own research. The gentleman who came to take measurements ant make the estimate was pleasant too and answered all my questions completely. Then they kept in good prompt contact with me from then through installation - the installers (3 man crew) were also polite, professional and pleasant. They were tidy (the yard was cleaned/cleared as they went) they patiently explained some options for an odd corner issue on my property so that I could make the best decision for my needs. The resulting fence brings a huge smile to my face every time I walk into my back yard. I highly recommend HARCO for a positive experience and excellent result!

Harco did a fantastic job on my horizontal fence. They previously did this design for a friend of mine, and I wanted something similar. We went back and forth, initially looking at doing a shadowbox type design. However, their previous work on the horizontal type was top-notch, so we went with that type.

Mike did a great job dealing with my back and forth, along with the small scope changes. The team that came out did a great job and left a clean worksite every day.

The only issue I had, which was out of their control was the weather. It was a miserable week to put the fence in since it rained the whole time, so the yard was a muddy mess. The guys that were out powered through, though, and didn't affect their quality.

Amazing work, and completed the project in a very timely manner. Price was also excellent. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Hire Harco for your exterior needs. They provide top quality work for fencing, decks and retaining walls - all of which they have done for us. We received glowing reviews from the inspectors too who had to approve the work. Professional, ontime, on budget, polite and enjoyable to work with.

When performing the work HARCO communicated ahead of time the days they would work, the time they would be onsite (always arrived on time), and when all the materials would arrived. They communicated with us on progress and asked about certain choices related to how the fence would look before proceeding. When Mike first gave me his bid, I could tell he was very professional. His bid was very generous for my particular special situation. Although heavy rains delayed our installation, they kept me in constant communication until the ground was dry enough to get the job done right. Mike and his crew showed up on time and were done with my job in just a day and a half. I could not be more happy with their entire process. I heartily recommend them for anyone looking to get a fence installed quickly and on budget. The only surprise was how fast they got it done!

We absolutely love these guys! Our yard turned out to have some rocks and KCPL did NOT mark the power lines well (if at all). These guys still finished on time and the fence looks amazing! My only complaint is they came EARLY! I wanted to leave them some water as it's been so hot or some beer so I could say thank you. I'm so glad my neighbors recommended them. One of the next door neighbors liked them so much she had them put in fencing for her too! I can't say enough good things about them. Hire them, schedule them, before the word gets out about how great they are!

Harco did a great job replacing our fence. They are true craftsmen. The estimate was easy to get, very transparent. No surprises with the construction or cost. Saved us money by not demanding a survey. very pleasant workers who took time to answer questions and take great attention to detail. Highly recommend them.

If you decide to go with Harco, make sure you catch them when they’re in a good mood, because if they’re having a bad week, they are going to take it out on you. They may seem nice at first, but just know that they don’t care about making sure you’re satisfied with the project, they just want to be done with you so they can move on to the next job.

I had a 6 foot shadowbox privacy fence installed 11/10/17. I am very impressed with how easy it was to work with HARCO. They completed the job in 1 day and the workers didn't leave any mess. They actually took some of the excess dirt from the holes they dug and added it to the side of my house to help the land slope away without me asking. They also tossed aside all of the boards that had defects in them and used a different board. They even dealt with a difficult neighbor for me so I didn't have to. I'd recommend them to anyone. Thank you Tanner and Joe!

We had a great experience with HARCO. We needed an existing fence removed and a new one put up and they did a fantastic job. They were very responsive, courteous, quick, and did quality work. We would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I could not be more impressed with HARCO Exteriors. I just purchased a new house in Midtown with an incredible view of the Home Depot across the street in my backyard. I called HARCO and Mike came over that afternoon to check out the work that needed to be done and send me an estimate. I had wood fencing along the back of the fence and then chain link on the sides and wanted to take the current wood fence and reuse the wood to install wood fencing on the sides and then have them design and build a VERY TALL privacy fence along the back. I was out of the country immediately following but Mike's crew was able to start work only a few days later and was done in two days. He kept me up to date while I was gone, even sending pictures of the work. When I came home I was blown away. The fence looks incredible. The privacy side looks really cool and is 16 Feet call with vertical lats instead of horizontal which looks really cool. Their price could not be beat either! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

"WOW" is all I can say! I needed a fence replacement and did my research, compared companies and got estimates. These guys had my confidence from the time they showed up at my house for the estimate and exceeded my expectations to the end. My fence is high-quality and exactly to my specs (I was picky). I can't recommend them enough. The owner, Joe, was personally involved from the beginning and he and his son were on the job site with the rest of the crew all day. They finished the entire project in one day. WOW!

Harco Exteriors recently put in a new steel fence for me. They were a pleasure to work with. The work was completed in a timely manner, and the finished product looks great. They also cleaned up after themselves and I couldn't tell that they were even there.

They did an excellent job! The foreman communicated with me throughout the entire process and was very courteous and polite. They finished this job so quickly that I was surprised when it was done before noon! The fence is straight as an arrow and all of the pickets are straight and level. Thanks for doing such a wonderful job!
