Happy Home Inspection

I initially thought very highly of the company when he did the inspection in February, however after living in the house for 8 months I have learned that his inspection was very incorrect. I am unsure of what all was looked at and how in-depth things were inspected as I was working when the inspection took place. The owners that we bought the house from were there so it seems as though the information might have been swayed / things overlooked.
He claimed the "overall home seems to be in good shape the big areas of concern were the exterior needing painting and that there had been a fire in the past in the attic. That seemed to be fixed through even though there was still charred wood."
Once we moved in we found very visible termite damage, water leaks, faulty electrical outlets, severely unlevel flooring, doors that do not close properly, faulty light switches, etc.
We are now paying to make sure the termite issue is under control and are having to pay for a contractor to come out to find where all the water leaks are coming from in the basement and this is just the beginning of the expenses. I understand that owning a home this is sometimes required but it would have been nice to have a correct inspection done to know what we were getting ourselves into.

Danny did an amazing job. Definitely very meticulous and thorough! He took his time and even took extra time to talk to my husband and I about concerns/questions we had and what to do in order to make those things up to par.
