Very happy with soffit and switch repair. My wife and I are happy & satisfied. Our only concern was in some delays in suggested date of jobs.(because of pressing family obligations) . I wanted to be at home when the jobs were to be completed. I explained the situation and job completed date was pushed forward. I was most grateful!
I hired this company based on their reviews and on the promptness of their communication. I had a very good gut feeling about the company and wanted to keep it local. I even tried to hire them for a second job converting my garage but spent weeks trying to receive a bid and was forced to use a company who wanted the business.
We had a significant hiccup when one morning I received a text from my neighbor making me aware that a team had shown up and began removing my existing roof without any advance notice. In addition to that, the team was throwing the removed shingles into my neighbors’ yard. At no point was I informed that would be necessary.
I left work and called the owner. He called me back and said he would meet me at the house. He was shocked that I was upset. He did, ultimately, admit that he had failed to advise me about the process and apologized. I accepted his apology and work continued.
Fast forward 4-6 weeks and the company who is going to replace my gutters reminded me that there were still issues with the flashing around the chimneys. I told that company that the entire roof and chimneys flashing and counter flashing had all just been replaced. The gutter company returned and took photos of my flashing and sent them to me along with photos of how it should be expected to look.
I emailed the owner of Halo who replied that he had not touched my flashing because it didn’t need to be replaced even though my contract called out specifically that they would ‘remove and replace existing chimney step flashing and counter flashing’…
It has now been 2 months since I have had a response. The company making and installing my gutter system doesn’t want to install the system without being confident the flashing has been done properly. All I’m asking for is for what was offered and accepted to in my contract with Halo or a partial refund of the more than $12,000 paid.
Halo did an outstanding job for my clients. Very easy to work with & accomplished an almost impossible deadline. I appreciate their communication & dedication to their customers. Thank you.
