I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The sells mean Christian did a amazing job on the steps and his presentation. The works did a very good on the take off of my old roof and putting up the new. They also did a wonderful job cleaning up after. The other workers put up my new gutters and the did an amazing job. Everything turned out wonderful and I would highly recommend them to everyone who needs a new roof and gutters.

The crew did a great job despite pretty brutal heat. Communication was good, workers arrived on schedule, worked steadily, and did a good job on the cleanup.

Great workmanship. After having a local company do the roof 14 years ago, I’m extremely impressed with that they did to care for this 90 year olds roof. They were even out at 9:30pm with flashlights making sure they cleaned up all the old shingles. So very grateful for their work. Looks beautiful.

On time start to finish, everything done right they kept me in the loop the whole time and they left everything as clean as they found it.

the workers was here on time and got all that thay could about 11:30 and had to wait on 3 pc of wood and a trailer to put the shingels in and it took the company till about 3:30 are 4:00 pm to get it here the workers had to sit around in the heat and it was in the 90,s all that time i think the company needs to get there stuff togather because that makes them look so bad.

The crew began their work about 6 am while the weather was cooler and left around 3pm in sweltering heat. This is a hardworking group of men who not only know their job but enjoy working. The roof looks fabulous and I will look forward to no roof leaks or problems in the future as Guy Roofing has guaranteed their work. I highly recommend Guy Roofing for all your roof problems.

We recently had our roof replaced by (Guy Roofing), a contractor recommended to us by our homeowner’s insurance company (Amica) through (Crawford Contractor Connection). Unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired.

While the actual roof replacement was completed, we were extremely disappointed with the, lack of attention to detail and care throughout the process.

The crew left behind a significant amount of debris, which we had to clean up ourselves.
There was visible damage to our front gutter over the garage, and they caused nail punctures in the flashing on the right side of the roof. To make matters worse, there was tar smeared on our home’s siding from the roof tear-off process.

One of the key issues was our dryer vent, which we needed them to repair as part of the project. Rather than doing the job correctly, they installed a cheap $10-20 vent that didn’t even sit flush against the siding. Their solution? Clear silicone caulk around the edges, an unprofessional shortcut from a company that advertises itself as experts in roofing, siding, and gutters. This type of work should have been completed with care and precision the first time.

We made multiple attempts to contact Guy Roofing to address these issues. Although they did eventually follow through and come back to correct the problems, it took repeated phone calls and persistence on our end. Even then, the initial attempts to fix things felt like the bare minimum, and only after pushing did they finally complete the job to our satisfaction.

In summary, while the roof itself was replaced, the overall experience was frustrating and disappointing. If you’re considering using Guy Roofing, especially for work recommended through an insurance company, be prepared to advocate strongly for quality and follow-up. From start to finish, our process took over 6 weeks.

Guys were courteous and worked for almost 12 hours in heat to finish the job!! Could not be happier with new roof. Afterwards everything cleaned up so nice.

The crew did an excellent job, starting at 6:30am and finishing as night fell at 9pm. Working on a hot day, they removed my old shingles and reroofed my large roof with a number of valleys and ridges in a single day. They used large tarps over my landscaping and lawn to catch the old roofing as it was removed. The crew returned the following morning for finishing touches and final cleanup, raking my yard and shrubs areas multiple times with a magnetic rakes to get the nails that came off the old roof that had missed the tarps. Overall I am very pleased with their work and my new roof.

My roof was replaced due to hail damage and Guy Roofing has been a pleasure to deal with from the start. From my initial contact with Kevin Smith who came out and inspected the roof and explained the process of repair and replace to David Medford and his crew who came out and replaced the roof. Everyone has been professional and helpful throughout the entire process. The roofing crew removed the old roofing materials and replaced the roof in one day. They were prompt on arrival and the roof looks fantastic. I would recommend Guy Roofing to anyone needing to have any type of roofing work done.

We had a bad experience from Guy Roofing.. they’re not careful they messed & destroyed our wall siding. The new roof that they installed was over the edge of the gutters so if it rain the water just poured down through the siding of the wall instead along the gutters that cause our siding wall to melt & crack after the rain.
We noticed our siding wall cracking after weeks to months of raining so we called the Guy Roofing inspector he said everything was fine. Until we called another guy who knew about installing new roof and was amazed when he saw our new roof installed and explained to us why our siding wall is soft & melt when it’s rain & cracking after few days of raining.
Guy roofing is not worth your money they’re very expensive!!!

Kept me informed on when they would be here. They picked up after themselves. Good group to work with. They installed siding, gutters, down spouts and shutters.

Excellent work! Finished work in a very timely manner, showed up at 7 am and they were finished and gone by 2:00 pm. Very professional, excellent job of clean up after the job. CJ and Alex the quality control and crew leader were helpful, provided great information and helped me understand what they were doing. Highly recommend Guy Roofing!

Juan and his crew were top notch! Excellent at their craft. They all worked very hard. I could not be more pleased. The results are fantastic!

Guy installed new "GAF 30yr Architectual' roof in 2012 - they came on their schedule & did what looked to be a great job. I had some issues w/their work & unanticipated ones - they were quick to repair for first few years - BRAVO.

By 2020 we had roofing companies stopping by because it looked worn.

Roof is SO bad the insurance company's like 'yea, roof's damaged but hard to tell from what' So I conclude GAF shingles and/or the Install were bad.

A contractor suggesting GAF warranty. However, I needed the specifics & my records show Guy Roofing / Insurance never provided it to us nor did either not have the documentation.

I contacted Guy Roofing after Hurricane Helene hit as they had installed the current roof some 20 years ago. They sent an appraiser out immediately, but despite making no fewer than ten calls, speaking with various secretaries and operators, and leaving messages, I was never provided a copy of the estimate.

FEMA did not go on the roof to inspect and document damage as the Guy Roofing inspector had. Because of this, FEMA provided no financial assistance in replacing the roof which I was told would cost around $25k. The time to have the roof inspected again and to launch an appeal would take months, at best. So by choosing Guy Roofing rather than another company, I lost tens of thousands of dollars. I would avoid Guy Roofing at all costs.

I am 74 years old and not a newbie to roof installations. I cannot say enough good things about the crew who installed my new roof. Efficient, used safety equipment, Great attention to underlayment install, flashing and caulking, not just putting on shingles. Great cleanup--"like it never really happened".

Crew was professional and efficient. Everyone was friendly and respectful. They did a good job cleaning up too. I would recommend GUY roofing to anyone. Delivery was quick no hassle or problems and friendly driver . Customer service was excellent and answered all my queries. Ryan Wilkins took no time in getting the claim turned in . Very patient and helpful with all my questions and concerns. He talk me through everything and even took time to make sure I was good with the process.

Excellent service and overall great experience start to finish. From Kevin, who came out to quote my job, showed me a video of my roof while describing in detail what I was looking at and also gave me a detailed overview of what my new roof would consist of. To Zach and Juan and their crew who showed up early, laid down tarps and were very careful to not damage anything surrounding the house and had my old roof completely taken off, replaced some bad wood and had all layers of the new roof put on in about 8 hours. When I got home from work there was no evidence that they had been there other than the new roof. They were also in contact with me during the install to give me updates on the progress. Can't say enough good things. Would recommended to anyone looking for a roof. They have the best of both worlds being a big company but still have that hometown feel which is what led me to them in the first place. 10/10

We thought we had an issue with siding/roof. Guy Roofing came out and after through inspection confirmed we in fact did not have an issue requiring repairs. Having that level of honesty to NOT recommend business is so incredibly rare. When we do need a future repair, it will be Guy Roofing, hands down

I wanted to let you know that Austin got my vents installed and everything looks great. Austin was very professional and communicated updates to the installation in detail. He is a nice young man who knows his job very well. He also proved to me that quality and customer satisfaction was job one in his book. Please thank him again for me.

I was very pleased with the two gentlemen who repaired our roof. They were polite, knew what they needed to do, and they did a thorough clean up before they left. I had to explain an extenuating circumstance to them. They assured me they would check my issue throughly and take pictures.

Customer service and communication with them was great only after months of them having a dispute over a piece of paper from my insurance company to move forward. The project manager was a pleasure to talk to over the phone. He answered all of my questions. I had to get roof repair and gutter repair. The roof repair crew was super late and now I am currently waiting here for the gutter crew and they are already an hour late. Don’t expect timeliness but you will get great explanations of the work that is being done if you have a good contact and speak up. The person scheduling and coordinating everything was fantastic. She deserves a raise

After Helene, contacted Guy to come out for a quote. Rep arrived, roof was “too high” to check. Gave me a price quote. I called to have them come out to do the repairs. Woman said she would contact the rep, zero response after that. Found a local guy, five stars for him. One for Guy, but that’s being generous.

Everyone did a wonderful job of making sure we was taken care of from the beginning to the end. We love our new roof and highly recommend.

I am a window 84 years young I called Guy Roofing to get a quote for 2 repairs following Hurricane Helene this has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. Guy Roofing utterly refused to work with our insurance company.I needed to be issued an itemized estimate for their work in order for insurance to pay out to me but they refused and said “we don't work unless you write a check to day so We can make your appointment .” At this point I wrote them a down-payment (my biggest mistake) and I was stuck with them. The only silver lining here was that Guy Roofing did allow us to downgrade the service agreement to make it I question why they could not itemize their estimate because surely they knew how much shingles costs and they know how much their workers are paid, and they know how long the job takes why I NOW KNOW as to why they would refuse… This is why I say DO NOT WORK WITH THEM if you plan on going through insurance also not good installers on my gutters they put on for me As a result of this terrible experience, the insurance company could deny funds because of the incorrect work they did I am out
thousands of dollars and not a shingle on my home weeks later

Guy Roofing crew was on time and the staff was polite and respectful. The job was finished quickly and the cleanup was great!

I just called this company to get an estimate. I set up my appointment online. I got an appointment within like two hours. They came out a guy named Max Boscaglia was the representative. He was very respectful very courteous asked if he need to takeoff his shoes to enter my home. He went up on the roof, checked it thoroughly came in and showed me a video of what needed to be done. My problem areas told me a lot about the company. They actually do a few free veteran roofs from time to time. The price is a little too high for my budget at this time, but he also gave me other options. I may give them a call later to get the work done, but overall I was satisfied with this company and the respect show when they came into my home. If I choose to get work done, I will come back and update my review. This review was not on service.

We were very impressed with the professionalism, quality of workmanship and management of the work crew. The thoroughness of the cleanup was much appreciated. Easy Access to the supervisor ensured that all questions or concerns were immediately addressed and resolved.
One suggestion: Make sure that one member of the work crew speaks English.

Great experience with this Company. They were great To work with and always courteous and helpful. Always on time to complete our job and fine group of people to deal with as well as excellence in their trade.

Guy Roofing told me that it would take one day for installation of my roof. I was also told the crew would arrive at my home at 7AM, they arrived around 8AM I am guessing due to the temperature. The date was 12/24/24 it was supposed to be a one day job, the crew quit working around 4:30 PM, I was told they ran out of shingles I was very upset because my roof was not finished and this was a day before Christmas. My neighbors Christmas decorations was up and I took most of my decorations down I was so heartbroken because my roof wasn’t finished as specified and then a big dumpster was left in my yard with it being Christmas the very next day I was very upset. I ended up throwing some of my household trash into the dumpster I called on Christmas Day and EXPRESSED MY DISSATISFACTION AND IT WAS REMOVED ON CHRISTMAS DAY. I was not aware of the time that the crew arrived to get it off my property but the next day 12/26/24. South Carolina Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division arrived at my home asking for me I knew I did nothing outside of the law I identified myself and asked how could I help them. I was told a dumpster full of shingles and a couple of bags of household trash was aside the road how they discovered me they went through the bags of trash and found my name and address on some pieces of mail I threw away. I provided the name, number and address of Guy Roofing who could identify the crew. They found some old shingles that the crew left at my home and matched them with the ones that was found beside the road. I abide with the law and do not have visits from them. This was indeed frustrating. I did not have an amazing experience with this company and I would never allow this company to even roof my chicken coop.

Horrible experience. Do not recommend this company. Had a second and third opinion and they charged me wayyy too much for a roof tune up. I had to cal multiple times asking them to take my payment. Initially the guy coming out to assess the roof was over an hour late and never called to tell me, I had to call to see where he was. Called to speak with a manager and he hung up on me when he answered and I asked if he was a manager. Left voicemails for several managers with only a call back from the front office supervisor who said she’d follow up on the issues but never did and only a “sorry” for all the issues we had. Once they finally scheduled us for the repairs they never called me to tell me the time they were coming so I called and then they canceled and said it would be the next day before they could come. Absolutely horrible experience.

An excellent experience! Our roof was damaged in the hurricane and Guy Roofing made the process of getting a new roof so simple! The team installing the roof was polite and cleaned the area thoroughly when they were finished!

I'm not impressed by many companies these days but Guy Roofing's entire process of re-roofing my warehouse truly impressed me. The professionalism each step of the way, the communication, the attention to detail, and finally the actual roofers themselves --- all affirmed my decision to hire Guy. I will never hire another roofing company other than Guy Roofing, period.

David Medford and his Hispanic crew did a great job on the roofing. Saul was very helpful with his translations to the crew and with his final cleanup of the very large shingle debris. William and his assistant were excellent with their soffit and eve repair. Thank you for a well done job.

Needed 4-5 shingles replaced due to storm damage. Quote was over $2k. Asked for itemized details of charges and was advised it was against their policy to provide itemized details. Second rep came out and advised the fee is high due to the size of the job but would try to work on lowering the cost. Never heard back from them. Then, when I did reach out they provided two quotes $4,699 and $5,799 and added a bunch more repairs. However, when they flew the drone over the house and climbed up on the roof they did not see any other repairs needed. This is all on top of purchasing their roof "tune up" in May 2024 that costs over $4k. No way was I providing the "new" quote to insurance since this appears to be fraudulent. I do not trust this company to ever think of using them for anything.

I have my suspicions as to why they would refuse… This is why I say DO NOT WORK WITH THEM if you plan on going through insurance. As a result of this terrible experience, the insurance company could deny funds because they did not have an itemized estimate/invoice and Guy Roofing got paid per their contract. In the end, we are out thousands of dollars. Do yourself a favor and LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE for your roofing needs.

Guy roofers worked like robots installing my new roof! They were a perfectly well oiled machine and worked from first light to dusk. Having recently had another roof on a different house installed, Guy performed in a superior manner, cleaned up after themselves and left the area like no one was there. Highly recommended!

Since this was the first time using a roofing company, I wasn’t sure what to expect
However, I was very surprised when they showed up early and got to work very quickly!
They did the less noisy job of removing the old roof first, which I’m sure that my neighbors were very happy about!
They had the old roof removed in about an hour and a half and quickly got to putting the new one on
After it was done, they very slowly went through my yard made sure that no nails or scraps of roofing felt or shingles were left!
I’m very happy with the results and would recommend them to everyone and anyone!

After roof damage caused by Helene Guy Roofing was out to look at the damage 2 days after the storm and booked the repairs 2 weeks after and now completed. The crew and supervisor CJ were very professional and skilled in their work. We are repeat customers of Guy Roofing and continue to be impressed with this company. Thanks Guy Roofing and Team.

Guy Roofing replaced our roof in Aug 2020 after a hailstorm, and we hadn't noticed any issues until Apr 2024 when we saw water stains on the ceiling of our upstairs bathroom.

Their sales rep came over and checked it out, then quoted us $3800 for a premium "roof tune up", which would replace 3 rubber pipe boots with perma boots as well as installing ice/rain shielding. Unfortunately they only offer a 2-year warranty so we weren't getting any price breaks at this point, but based on other professional opinions, we were getting ripped off.

Eventually we reached out to another company (Roofers LLC in Greenville) and not only did they identify the issue, but they took it upon themselves to fix it AT NO CHARGE. Besides sealing the existing pipe boots properly and taking care of some nail pops, they also found an old bottle of sealant that was stuck in our gutter, which is something Guy Roofing clearly dropped back in 2020 when the roof was installed, and missed again when the sales rep came over to check the roof 4 years later.

On top of that, Roofers LLC noticed our drip edges weren't installed properly by Guy Roofing, which is causing our shingles to warp near the gutters. Since their warranty only covers 2 years, I won't even bother asking them about this.

Guy Roofing may have other companies beat when it comes to brand recognition, but after this whole experience, it felt like my ignorance was being exploited for profit AND the quality of their original work was sub-par, so I'll never contact them again.
