At first I was very happy when the repairs were started after a hailstorm messed up my roof, gutters and siding. I was told the roof was guaranteed for many years and if anything happened they would fix it. But after the first big rain I noticed I had a leak into my house. And one of the windows leaked where the new siding was put on. And the gutter on the north side was not set right so the rain just poured over the side. I called multiple times to Guardian Construction to ask them to fix it and kept getting put off. By then it was late autumn, then very cold winter which is not good weather for getting up on a roof. I agreed with the receptionist to wait until the weather was better to arrange a time to get things looked at.
I talked to two different receptionists, who were very friendly but maybe they didn’t share my information with each other. I felt like my job was lost in the shuffle. I tried to call Jeremy directly but could not reach him. Finally I went in person to the office. Again, I couldn’t find Jeremy but I met Nic, who told me that they didn’t guarantee their work beyond one year! I felt like he was trying to brush me off. I explained that I had been calling off and on for several months and he agreed to look at it.
Bri set up an appointment but then she cancelled it two days prior and did not offer a different date to reschedule, nor did she respond to my emails or phone messages after that. I get the message that they do NOT want to fix their mistakes. What about that guarantee so confidently spoken to me? I was fooled by the charm. Get it in writing.
Very quick and easy process. Showed up on time to do an estimate as well as the job, very rare for a contractor. They were also able to schedule me on short notice, since I was moving. They finished the roof within hours. I would recommend Guardian construction to anyone!
