For the past few years, we've entrusted the care of our gutters and windows to Miguel at Gu-Wi, and we continue to be impressed with his service. This year, we experienced a slight misunderstanding regarding the service schedule. However, one call to Miguel quickly resolved the issue. He went above and beyond by personally coming to our home and ensuring the work was completed to our satisfaction.

Miguel is truly mindful, considerate, and incredibly thorough in his work. This year, he cleaned our metal roof and gutters, as well as both the interior and exterior of our windows. After he finished, I took a close look at the results and found the work to be exceptionally well done. We highly recommend Miguel and Gu-Wi for their reliable and high-quality services.

Miguel did a wonderful job cleaning the inside windows of my three story town house. He was very professional, respectful and efficient. He took his time and was very thorough with the inside and went outside to clean as well. He is awesome and deserves all the praise!!! I would definitely recommend.

Luis did a great job: gutter cleaning, installing gutter guards, and installing a mid-run downspout in a tricky spot. Both the estimator and Luis were on time, tidy, and professional, and Luis did work exactly to spec. I wouldn't hesitate to use Gu-Wi again.

The Gu-Wi Gutters team, Marvin and Gabriel, recently cleaned the gutters of my home. They arrived on time, were very polite, worked efficiently, protected my garden and porch areas around the house and left the everything clean. The Gu-Wi manager, Blaine, facilitated the appointment, communicated well and was very friendly over the phone. Great job everyone.

Very negative experience getting an estimate and attempting to start the work. The estimator needed several rescheduled visits to provide an estimate, and then did not provide work teams with information on what parts they needed/ what they needed to do (they were dispatched and had to leave without doing anything)), resulting in months of wasted time and effort. I ended up cancelling the service after hearing nothing but silence from them, and finding a much more responsive and professional operation to complete the work (who actually communicated clearly and set reasonable expectations)

Worst experience i've ever had with a company constantly calling me from numbers that show up as spam calls.And then when you try to call back, they put you to voicemail. Don't even bother with these guys. They'll just waste your time and try to upcharge on everything they do.

For those of you who are coming to look at reviews i highly do not recommend hiring this company Im an ex employee I worked for a month and in that month i saw how badly they treated the workers especially the none English speakers when I first started they told me to not speak to the costumers the one time i did they threatened to fire me Im not sure on why they would not want us to speak to the customers. This one time we ran into this house that had water damage on the roof so everytime we’d walk the roof would feel like it was gonna fall thru I told my manger we didn’t feel safe doing it but he told us to just keep on going at that point I knew they didn’t care about our safety. to make it worst the dispatch are not from the country so they don’t see what type of environment we work in. I use to work for another company doing the exact same thing and I saw a big difference this company only cares about the money not about the costumers. Over all if you choose on picking this company for any services or even to get employed good luck.

Got a quote from this company to clean about 25% of our roof (not very big), which needed light moss removed. This is something that I will end up doing, and expect that it will take me about 4 hours, most of which will be rigging anti-fall equipment. The quote that I got was for literally thousands more than any of the competing quotes that I got. We also had them give us a second quote for our carport roof, and even that was wildly inflated beyond what was reasonable. I ended up cleaning that one on my own and it only took a couple of hours, and saved me over a thousand dollars to just do it myself.

Looking at what they were wanting to charge for their moss killer spray, I was able to find the exact same stuff they claimed they were using for about 10% the cost they wanted to charge me (this was ontop of labor to apply it).

I suspect they came to our house, assumed we had more money then sense, and just tried to gouge the hell out of us. One of my neighbors, who's roof was basically a solid sheet of moss, had theirs cleaned up wonderfully for about 20% of the cost that this company quoted me to do our roof. our roof probably doesnt even need to be cleaned anyway, I am just on a push to get everything tidied up before winter.

They got back to us so quickly and the work was done quickly too! Special shout out to Dan, we can finally sleep at night without the noisy gutters bothering us when it rains!

I found Gu-Wi from some reviews and I was very disappointed with them. I thought the job was simple enough, replace the roof & clean the gutters (I was told the gutters didn't need replacing at the Gu-Wi inspection visit) and take out 4 windows and replace them with 2 smaller ones.
I am a woman and in dealing with many men in the home-repair/construction industry, this can be difficult. During this process, it definitely felt to me that this company and its employees spoke to and treated me in a very condescending way. Even their emails read like they don’t take my opinion or experience into account.
Customer service was terrible and no one I called at Gu-Wi was clear with who was coming at what time, for any part of the job.
I finally got details that the windows would be done first. Paul (installer) was brilliant and lovely. He took out and replaced what we wanted and installed the 2 new windows. Unfortunately for us (and Paul), one of the new windows had been ordered & made incorrectly - so we needed to wait weeks for it to be replaced in a separate visit.
The roof and gutter replacement was a mess from start to finish. It started with bad communication regarding what was being done and by whom, and this continued to roof install day. It seemed there had been zero mention with the roof install team about any issues I had raised during the contract negotiation about some of the fascia that was rotten and needed replacing. I was told this part of the job would be included in the roof replacement however that message never went anywhere and never happened.
The roofers didn’t speak to me on the day, no one came to the door to even say they were here - we found out they were here when banging on the roof started. By day 2, I finally met someone who said he was in charge of the job, however when I brought up the rotten fascia he didn’t know anything about it. I was told that any underlayment or wood that was rotten would be replaced with new and if any of it was bigger than 2 sheets of ply, I would be notified. This didn’t happen so I assumed that all the sub-roof was in good condition. The roofers cleaned up after themselves, but left debris behind in my trees and on the ground. They also took away our doormat - just threw it away with the roof materials (my Ring doorbell confirmed!). When I texted the roof project manager about this, I just got no reply; like my concerns weren’t important.
Eventually, I was told that the new roof was finished. However the rotten fascia hadn’t been repaired. The new roof had simply been placed on top, kind-of balancing on this part with some rotten wood underneath!
I took some photos and sent it to the company - I was now told the guttering needed replacing after all and this would cost more, and the rotten fascia would be repaired then. Gu-Wi had already come out and cleaned all the old gutters and told me they were fine at the time!
After the roof was done, I got up into the attic to take a look at their work - I found split boards all along the roof line. The boards holding up the new roof were ripped and shattered all along the roof vent. Now I assume that when you make a roof vent, you don’t just smash the boards apart. I took photos and sent it to the company - they replied that this was from the roofing nails and it's very normal. ZERO addressing my concern, ZERO discussion, just condescending and mansplaining.
In the end, I had another company give me a quote on the real guttering and they were very honest about the process and what we should do around the property. They showed me the whole job and they completed it well and quickly. I had a carpenter repair the roof boards that were shattered.
Even in billing, Gu-Wi didn’t send bills that matched the contract. The numbers were all wrong. After months of contacting the billing department, they eventually changed the numbers to reflect the contract amount owing!
I can’t say enough that this company was very hard to deal with, did a poor job and if you have read this far, you know I would not recommend them.

I received a flyer from Gu-Wi in the mail and needed a roof cleaning so called them and set up an appointment for a roof inspection for the quote. The technician showed up as scheduled and did the inspection. Heard nothing back from them for 3 weeks so I called to ask about the status of the quote. The person on the phone said she would find out and get back with me, and I never heard back from them again. I had the job done by another firm who did an outstanding job. Two stars because the person who came out for the inspection was professional and nice.

Absolutely awful experience. Took 4 months to install our roof. We had skylight leaks in the middle of the night over out bed, and I could go on and on.. and on with how bad this experience was. When you spend 25k on a roof, you hope for some competency. Even our weather vane broke off because it wasnt reinstalled properly. And I can climb 40 feet up and fix it, so there it sits broken. It was a silboat weather vane, but the boat brke off and cpuld have landes on soneones head.. yah, not a surprise at all.. Foreman was absolutely terrible and his communication, even worse. Buyer beware!

I rent a property and services were scheduled by the owner. The technician showed up and asked me what parts of the house were to be done, despite having the work order. There’s a detached unit in the backyard that was also on the work order, but the technician didn’t know how to read the work order and asked me what “ADU” meant. (Additional Detached Unit). They did not remove the debris after the job was complete and instead filled my own yard waste bin to overflowing, making it too heavy for me to move on my own. This also left me with a pile of my own yard waste from my gardens in the driveway that I had been drying out to put in the bin, that had to continue to sit taking up space in my driveway, because I was unable to use my bin. They did not communicate they would be using my bin, that I pay to have picked up out of pocket, and when I reached out to them to rectify the situation they stated they would send someone back out in two days. That came and went and they never showed up. They said they’d send someone the next day, they never showed up that day either. I had to schedule an additional pickup with Republic to have my yard waste bin emptied after they failed to follow through.

UPDATE: The dispatcher contacted me this morning to inform me the technician claimed he came to the house yesterday and knocked on the door, no one answered, and he couldn’t find the bin.

I texted the company at 4:30pm to ask for an updated time of arrival. I was told the technician was still at his current job and the dispatcher contacted him again to remind him of the pickup, and he would be by after he finished his current job. My husband had been home since 2:00pm, and I got home at 7:00pm. If the tech had *actually* come to the house and knocked on the door, our dog would have alerted to someone being there. And if the tech had actually gone to the front door, he would have seen the bin still sitting exactly where it had been placed 3 days ago, in front of the fence and gate, in plain view. Instead, the tech lied about coming to the house.

Omar came to scrap the moss off of our roof and did an awesome job! He and his partner took great care to not damage the shingles, cleaned up all the debris and fixed a couple downspouts. Excellent job & friendly customer service! I would definitely Recommend! A+! Thank you!

Antonio and Juan did a great gutter install today. They worked hard and efficiently and finished the job in a few hours. They were punctual, did a thorough job, and cleaned up after the job. Gu Wi has a happy customer. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs their gutters repaired.

I have been a customer of Gu-Wi Gutters and Windows for several years, initially drawn to their excellent service as a small business specializing in window, roof, and gutter cleaning. However, my experience with them has changed significantly as the company has grown. Initially, my experience with Gu-Wi was outstanding when they operated as a small business. The service was personalized, the quality of work was exceptional, and I felt valued as a customer. Unfortunately, I have noticed a decline in customer service and overall management. As the company has expanded, it seems they have struggled to maintain the level of personalized service and attention to detail that initially set them apart. I now feel more like a client number in their database rather than a valued customer. While Gu-Wi Gutters and Windows still provides great cleaning services, I would caution potential customers about the changes in customer service and management as the company has grown. If you value personalized service and attention to detail, you may want to consider alternatives or set clear expectations upfront.

Very disappointed. Gu-Wi was supposed to clean my gutters, remove moss and treat to prevent moss. Failed on all 3 and did not fully clean up. There was only a ~10X10 foot area that had much moss and you can see the AFTER picture below. Originally, they said OMG this NEVER happens. What can we do? It turns out not much. I cleaned up. They came back out and removed the remaining moss and treated the most important area of the roof that they failed to treat (white powder stuff was obviously not applied the first time). The technician literally told me after that it "wasn't that bad". Apparently not bad to Gu-Wi is not the same as not bad to me. btw ... I absolutely loved getting up on a ladder at 62 yo to document that they didn't fully do what I was paying them to do. I did however get the full bill.

Once again a job well done. Each time I use Gu-Wi they overachieve and outdo my expectations. See you guys next year!

Easy to schedule. Clear communication by various means website email and texts for each step of the process. Efficient and skillful workers. Really nice to have the roof and gutters clean after all the winter debris!

I want to let you know that Sergio and Willian did an AMAZING job at my house yesterday. I was so impressed with the time and thoroughness they took in completing the job. Not only did my roof and gutters look 100x better, but they left my yard (where the gutter and roof gunk had fallen) better than it was prior to their arrival. I appreciate their professionalism and the care they took in leaving my property better than it was when they arrived. Great job. I am so happy with the results. Thank you!

My gutters were not flushed against the wall and water was seeping in between. Gu-Wi sent technicians twice at home to make sure it was completely fixed. I would use their service again

Nothing but problems. Their team installed my gutters but used the wrong brackets the first time. There was a 1/2 gap at every bracket. 2 weeks later they came out to reinstall. Now the gutters are bent from the reinstall and leak between the fascia and the gutter the entire length of the gutter. I've paid them for the project but they won't fix the issue. Looks like I'll have to pay someone else to repair their work.

This is the second time we've used Gu-Wi to clean moss from our roof. The first time, we also had them install gutter guards. We went back to them because our first experience was so great. This time did not disappoint, and I cannot recommend them highly enough--they provide outstanding service from first contact (they make it easy to communicate w/them) through to final payment and receipt. Their estimate and final bill match (no hidden surprises!); the actual person who did the work was professional, courteous, and very respectful of our property. His work on our roof and gutters was *meticulous*, he worked diligently, and when he was finished, he knocked on the door to let us know he was finished--after he'd removed all of the equipment, ensured that the debris was ALL gone, and everything was better than he found it. And the support/office staff are equally outstanding--they were in communication with us at every step, apprising us of when to expect the service staff to arrive; followed up before invoicing to ensure our complete satisfaction with the job; sent us an itemized invoice; and then sent a thank-you and some recommendations for further services--no pressure, just options. These folks are remarkable! If I could give ten stars, I would do so gladly; they definitely deserve the full FIVE stars!

I have a lot of experience working with different gutter vendors and can’t recommend Gu-Wi enough! They’re fast and reliable, and their communication is top-tier from beginning to end.

I just had my roof, gutter cleaning done by Gu-Wi. Pricing wise they were in the middle of the 3 bids I received. I went with them as they had better reviews then the other 2 companies. Unfortunately I am not totally satisfied with their cleaning job because it took them 3 visits to finally get my roof cleaned. There was never any before & after pictures. I have a rambler so I can visibility see moss still not cleaned up on the roof after the 1st & 2nd cleaning. What if I have a 2 story house? I don't even know if my gutters are properly cleaned because they are harder to see from the ground. I don't think I can trust this company for future cleaning.

Jesus did a fantastic job connecting my downspouts to the two new rain barrels I purchased. One of the downspouts was in a difficult to reach location behind a tree, gas meter, and AC unit, but that did not phase Jesus at all! I was impressed with the speed and the quality of his work! There were a few missteps with my window installation and things could have gone better, but they were responsive and conciliatory regarding the inconveniences I incurred. In the end they refunded some of my money with an aim to make things right -- I am appreciative of the gesture and it is indicative they have integrity.

I wish the dispatch team had communicated to me about what time they were arriving at the property in advance on the date of dispatch (it was also unclear dispatch was confirmed). Because of miscommunciation, they arrived at a time when guests were still occupying the property. I brought up this issue to Gu-Wi though, and Amanda was very kind/understanding and made the issue all right. I'd recommend Gu-Wi to others for the great service they did provide and for the great customer service.

I did not actually get work done but due to their driver in the company car driving well over the speed limit and reckless through a neighborhood with lots of pedestrians and small children I would not use this company. I would not trust their work if their employees can’t even drive a car safely

Hire Guwi to install some gutters on out patio roof cover as well as inspect all our gutters and clean all of them. The crew were professional and pleasant and were responsive to request to tweak and ajust as necessary. Give them a call and feel good about it. On the morning of January 10, 2023, Gu-Wi's technician, Sergio, cleaned the gutter at my house. Unfortunately, a water leak occurred during the cleaning, resulted in serious water damages on the hardwood floor, subfloor and crawl space, which costed me more than $5000 to repair.

I reached out Gu-Wi several times and they claimed they would not take any responsibilities. They said Sergio only performed his work outside the house, so they would not be responsible for any interior damages. I can't believe they don't understand (or reject to acknowledge) the water pipe used by Sergio is connected to the inside.

I received their invoice today (April 22rd, 2023). They want to charge me more than the quote. I can't believe they even want to charge a 3% merchant service fee if the payment is made by credit or debit card.

A company is not willing to take responsibilities for damages caused by their employees. Instead, they just want charge more from the customers. Keep away from this company.

Thanks for your response Gu-Wi. The leak appears to be around the area where your technician conducted the job, specifically near the horse used for the task. I don't understand why it is so challenging to acknowledge your own mistakes. It would be appreciated if a more positive attitude could be displayed.

Gu-Wi installed gutter guards to prevent a build up of leaves. The brand of guards they use allows leaves to build up on them. Because they have a lip, the leaves don't slide up the gutter, but build up and block the guards. A bit disappointing to have to do annual maintenance on the leaves after spending the money for gutter guards!

Not reliable, didn’t schedule the work even though I waited 2 weeks and contacted them many times.

After a tree fell in a windstorm and damaged our gutters, I called to set up repair. Gu-Wi sent someone to estimate three days later, which wasn’t quick, but most companies were very busy after the storm. I approved their quote online and got both an email and text saying they would contact me to schedule over the weekend. They didn’t.

I called, emailed, and texted. I got a text, email, and phone message saying they would schedule by the end of the next day. They didn’t.

It’s been 2 weeks since I first contacted them and the work could have been done by another company by now. I wouldn’t recommend this company since you can’t get them to do the work.

So easy to schedule! They gave an estimate based on the info I sent them. They missed a shed (which in fairness is really easy to miss), and when I contacted them they had someone out the next day. Gutters a really clean and they had not been cleaned out in a long time. Great service and would use again. Very reasonable pricing and high quality work.

Gu-Wi is awesome. He had them finished in side and out in just under 3 hours. We are extremely satisfied with the work.

I had Gu-Wi install a roof trip edge, fix my gutters, repoint 1 chimney, and recrown 2 chimneys.

George was my main contact for this work and I cant recommend him enough! He was responsive, honest, and direct from bidding to work completion, including in fixing a few small hiccups that came up along the way.

I was having trouble finding a window cleaning company but saw them working at a neighbor's house and took a chance. I'm glad I did. I was impressed with the efficient communication, from the bid to the follow-up after our window cleaning was complete. The crew showed up on time and did a great job cleaning the windows. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. I will definitely hire Gu-Wi again.

I contacted Gu-Wi for an estimate to clean the roof and gutters and softly remove and treat for moss. They were very quick and scheduled the service after a very reasonable estimate. The crew went above and beyond, cleaning up the grounds and making our place look great! Happy enough to have set up yearly fall service :) Highly recommend!

Very courteous. Excellent results on a very tough exterior window washing where they needed to reach 3 stories up on steep slope where ladders can't be placed. Use purified water so zero water spots even on highest hard to reach windows.

So these guys first came over to a rental house which was sold and did cleaning and repair service which was done in a timely manner and was outstanding work and really helped us out with making sure that the house is in Tip-Top shape for the new owners. And am having them do work at our new house which I know will be done in a timely manner and in expert quality that will fix our leaking gutters. What I really really appreciate is there communication and customer service with their management team. Every issue I addressed and needed taking care of was done with no issues. Outstanding company!!!

Great service for siding and roof treatment. This is first time I used them they are kind of on expensive side but it is worth as quality us good. I will use them again in the winter for gutter clean up.

Greyson came out and did a great job, excellent work. Company scheduled work within a few days and was very communicative, would work with them again.

Came on time, both men were cordial, worked efficiently and paid attention to details, they made extensions to the original gutters because the originals had a defect, were shorter than it was needed, and leaked. Now the water, will enter inside the gutters with the extensions made from scratch. Excellent work!

Gutters had not been cleaned for about three years. Gu-Wi came out and performed excellent work including fixing a broken downspout. Time from getting a quote to job done was about a week. Crew arrived on time and got right to work. Daniel even repaired a loose piece of vinyl siding. I really liked the before and after pictures also.

My most recent experience with Gu-Wi was very poor. I asked them for a quote for a recurring maintenance contract. It took them four weeks to get me a quote, even though I called them multiple times a week. I spoke with several employees and managers who assured me that I would receive the quote promptly - and still the quote would not come.

I am grateful to have discovered this before signing a five-year contract - I don't want to deal with an unresponsive service provider. It is a shame because Gu-Wi previously provided great service to me over multiple years in the past.

The staff were all very professional, personal efficient and on top of their game. Fast service .nice bid format.
We had moss cleaned off our roof.

Had Gu-Wi out on two occasions- once to clean my windows/solar panels/skylights, and again to replace a few gutters. Fantastic job on both accounts! Had some hiccups with gutter install but the staff was prompt and courteous in resolving everything. Will definitely be using them in the future!

We hired this company for gutter cleaning. Terrible work!!! We added on for the upcharge to clean the exterior...which they did not do at all...only made more of a mess to clean up! When we talked with them they agreed it was awful work and would make it right and send someone out to take care of it. We waited 2 hours and no one showed up. Highly suggest using a more professional company.

Both the estimator and the technician were really friendly and accommodating. The estimator took his time explaining everything and making suggestions. Was quoted $425 for replacing one downspout from the 2nd story and $250 for gutter cleaning on our 2 story house. Would definitely use them again.

Technician was really nice and did a great job. Really easy to set up appointments with this company. They are really good at communication.

Update 5/29: Got a bid for them to stain the deck in our backyard. Its a bigger deck but 3000 + cost of materials seemed really steep to me.

This company is very responsible with its work, I called for roof cleaning and by mistake a detail was left that I did not know what it was, I called for a new visit, they never refused and they were right at the right time, 5 stars and I recommend this company, always there people who speak badly like any other... from me 5 stars thanks for your service

I got quoted the wrong windows, since a more experienced sales consultant shared I needed the aluminum windows, and my quote shows the Trinsic vinyl model. I've tried emailing with no response, but I did talk with Winston via text, which has taken several weeks to get a call back. The rep now has zero notes about my original issues. I specifically gave details to keep them informed and Gu-Wi is not performing to the expected professionalism based on the reviews.

After taking a look at the reviews, I now see my wife didn't scroll the posts. These are paid reviews mostly, which consist of multiple 5-star reviews by robots that have only posted once on their Google lifetime.
