I wasn’t going to leave a review until the company texted me THREE times ASKING you for a FIVE star review. So here’s my ONE star review.
The salesman who came to our house specifically used the term “we have journeyman contractors installing our roofs, not Chuck in a truck.” That is exactly the opposite of what we received. A piece work crew with no journeyman carpenter showed up to our house. They worked well after dark two days in a row, annoying us and our neighbors and I believe it’s hard to do a good job installing a roof in the dark. They also messed up the fascia where the garage ties into the house and never fixed it. My husband had to fix that himself after they left.
My husband also had to take a half-day off of work and show them how to do their job. They didn’t know how to do the rafter tales, didn’t measure for the gutters, and we’re installing the gutters in the wrong spots.
Zero out of 10 do not recommend! The salesman lied to us from the beginning and the piece work crew was clearly more interested in getting the job done fast than getting it done well. Between that and my husband having to take half a day off to show them how to do their job I would absolutely not recommend them.

We had a wonderful experience with Green Built Exteriors! They were very professional and helpful in the bidding process. They answered all our questions and were willing to work with us on price. The crews were efficient and got the work done very quickly. Would definitely recommend this company!

They did a great job, used the latest materials, and gave me a good deal on price. They also did a good job of sitting down with us and explaining the process, so you.could see what materials were being used.

They tried, but still fell short... by a long shot. I had high hopes for these guys, the team seemed eager to deliver on their promises of excellence, but the finished product was dissapointing at best. They threw the huge bundles of shingles around on the roof so hard, it popped dozens of nail-heads through the upstairs ceiling drywall. The flashing work looked like a 4 year old tried to wrap a birthday present. They absolutely mangled the hardy-plank siding along the dormers. I had to fight with them to put vent caps on half the roof (otherwise there would be no ventilation) and that was not a cheap correction... and despite their efforts to pick up stray nails and razor sharp shards of trimmed flashing.. I'm still stepping on them a year later. They were roofing over warped plywood that I had paid to replace until I stopped them to point out their oversight, and none of the actual workers spoke English. Their normal supervisor left on vacation day two into the job. I did talk to the supervisors multiple times to provide feedback and make things right, but all they offered was to fix the most visible part of poorly installed flashing, and told me that I could fix the hardy plank they damaged myself, by installing some trim to conceal it.
OH, and their dumpster busted my concrete driveway into three massive pieces, but that was in the disclaimer paperwork up front that could happen and they were not liable.
I'd like to say it was a simple case of, "you get what you pay for", but Green Built Exteriors was on the top half of the quotes I'd gotten. Oh well... can't win them all I guess. I would not work with them again.

Greenbuilt did an excellent job replacing my roof! From the initial estimate to the final walkthrough, I was met with great professionalism and transparency.

The hard working folks who did our roofing job did super work. Quality materials installed and necessary repairs were completed with attention to detail. I would certainly recommend.

Rep showed the materials that they used so I could decide which roof I wanted. I went with the 50yr and I’m very pleased. Setting up the appointment was a breeze and the crew completed everything within 2 days and cleaned up nicely. I highly recommend.

I got lots of different estimates from different companies and most appeared to be overcharging me because the dimensions of my house were not typical. The Green Sky folks were great. They made the process easy. They charged me a very fair price and when there was a slight complication with some of my sky lights they sent their crew back months later to fix it with no issues. Working with them I saved half over what the comparable company wanted to charge me. I would totally recommend them.

I’m really happy with my new roof. I especially chose Green Built Exteriors for the time they took to explain and show me the big differences that make their roofs far superior and built to last at least for the next 30 years.

First roof was delaminating, needed replacing. Got quotes and checked backgrounds on five different companies. Green Build Exteriors wasn't the lowest, but certainly wasn't the highest. Based upon experience, BBB and L&I reviews, we chose Green Built. We've have the roof several years now, no issues. Recommended them to a friend who used them also. Our experience with Green Built Exteriors was nothing short of amazing. It was very quick and simple to schedule in an appointment for estimate, and the process was easy and straightforward during our appointment. All of the information provided was very detailed and helpful. We had a few questions regarding our options and were given answers quickly during our appointment to help us make a decision. We were able to get scheduled in very quickly to install our new roof and all of the materials arrived before installation began. The whole team was very responsive to phone calls and emails to contact them. The install team was very quick and efficient in their work and were so helpful in ensuring we knew what was being worked on each day. Installation was complete in just a couple of days and the final inspection was very quick as they checked the completed work and reinstalled the mesh to keep birds from nesting. I would highly recommend using Green Built Exteriors for their quality of work and professionalism from start to finish.

After refinancing my house, I learned that I needed a new roof. To be fair, my old roof probably outlasted its predicted lifespan by a few years, but it was time!
I had gotten a previous quote, but the other company hemmed and hawed and couldn't find me reasonable financing, so I called Green Built Exteriors, and they actually gave me a better price, a better warranty, and had no issue finding reasonable financing!
The work was done quickly, efficiently, and my new roof is beautiful! :) Everyone I dealt with was very professional as well! :) No surprise extras, no (unreasonable) mess left behind! :)

Green Built Exteriors LLC was great from sales pitch to final roof inspection. They were reasonably priced compared to the other bids we received and the quality is higher. They were professional and were flexible to our schedule not theirs. The work looks great and except for 3 roofing nails there was no debris left in our yard or gardens. I would recommend them to my neighbors and friends.

When we purchased our home in 2017 we had a home inspection done. All we ask them to do was have a new roof installed, which they did. However it started leaking in 2020, and again in 2/2022 and 10/2022. We tried getting a hold of that roofer only to get stonewalled. So we called GAF to see if we had a warranty, and we found out we actually didn't, so we picked one of their roofers to come have a look. Found out the roof had a lot of active leaks and we needed a new roof, sooner rather than later. The first company did not do any repairs at all, just shingled over it all. Green Built worked with us to get financing and to get the roof installed as soon as possible. The came out on Jan 13, 2023, and started removing the 2 layers of shingles, and started doing the repairs We need 36 sheets of plywood replaced. They worked for 2 days and got the whole roof done. I had them come out 2 more times because I had questions and they did with out any hesitation. The roof looks great and we now have a 30yr/50yr warranty (workmanship/roof). It looks great, the workers were all very nice and knew what they were doing. I would high recommend Green Built Exteriors!

We had our roof replaced a few years back, but not the skylight. They didn't pressure us to replace the skylight as it didn't really need to be replaced yet. Then recently our skylight started to leak and we called them to do an inspection and sure enough it was time to replace the whole skylight! They took measurements and sent in an order for our custom sized window. They kept us informed the entire time while we waited for the window to be ordered. Great communication and super professional! Install was super easy and very fast! Will be recommending!!!

I got a roof installed and I’m so impressed with how great it looks and how nice the workers are and they were great on the clean up I didn’t have to do a thing, the owner bends over backwards to make sure you get the best. Carlos and his crew did a great job replacing the roof, attic vents, fan vents, and the skylight. The job was done in a long day and a half, including a meticulous cleanup of the roof, gutters, and yard. We would definitely recommend Green Built Exteriors for your roofing needs!

I was referred to this company by a friend and I was very happy with everything. We got more than one estimate and chose the best company rather than the cheapest. Joe came over to do the estimate for us and was very thorough and informative. Then Carlos and his crew came and did the tear off and install. They did a great job and we’re happy with our fifty year roof and warranty through GAF. I will recommend them to anyone I know looking to replace their roof.

Rep was very helpful and walked us thru the entire process. Tear off and install of new roof was done in one day. Did a great job of cleaning up. Quick response for completion inspection. Roof looks great and came in at substantially lower than other 3 bids we had. Wouldn't hesitate to use again.

They were very nice people to work with and very responsive. The job was done i one day and they finished the cleanup the next and were gone. The sales pitch could be a bit shorter, it did go into deeper detail about the company and design and materials than was needed considering how many time we had heard that from other bidders. But the workmanship is top quality and they are fast.

We had one issue and that was the flashing that was used was black and our house trim is white. When the inspector came back after the job we told him we were never offered a color option he took notes and said he would let the owners know. We received a call from the owner 2 hours later and his first words were, " we will fix and make it right". Within days a crew was out and they fixed it.

The price was quoted with tax so we knew exactly where we stood and it was still lower than the other 5 bids we got.

This is the first time I’m actually writing a review for anyone but I had to come out here and say that Green Built exteriors did an awesome job not once but twice on my roof my roof. It had to be replaced due to faulty material and the owner of the company called me directly and said they were gonna replace my whole roof at no cost to me because they stand behind their warranty they stand behind their work and their products. This is the first time I have had a company back up what the paperwork said without a doubt with no hesitation I am very grateful. My neighbors have used them and are very happy with their roof. If I had to replace any other Roof these are the people I will call. Thanks again for the best customer service I have received in years!

They were incredible. Not only were they the least expensive but they had the fastest turn around to complete the job and did it sooner and faster than quoted. Okay, I've never replaced a roof before. I diligently obtained three bids, and asked neighbors and friends for input. Green Built was my third bid and came in the lowest. However, it was the professionalism of the salesperson, Joe Marino that made me accept the bid! Plus, Carlos, the crew chief was on-top of it (no pun intended!) from beginning to end. Richard and Tim who came to inspect after installation (before final payment) went way above & beyond any expectations I had regarding service and installation. I 100% recommend Green Build not only for the great installation but for superior service throughout.

Green built exteriors provides excellent customer service and workmanship! Everyone is very professional and responsive, from the crew, to the installation manager, the project manager, and the owner. The owner would personally message me on updates. Their quality of work is exceptional and their pricing is extremely fair. Any questions or minor tweaks that I have, they would respond right away, and come out very quickly. The entire roof replacement experience is great, I was well informed each step of the way and I would recommend them to anyone.

This is the first time we have ever put a new roof on a house, so I was stressed and worried about the process. Fortunately, we chose Green Built and the roof job was nearly seamless. Green Built (thanks Carlos and team!) did a fabulous job very quickly working around challenging December weather to remove our very old cedar shake roof and put on a new composite roof. They did an amazing job of HARD work (very professional) and clean-up, made sure all the gutters and vents were secure and answered all my questions. Please call them first and save yourself a lot of hassle finding a good roofer!! We are very glad we found them.

The Company brought in a large container for dumping; with a crew. Then a new crew arrived with new plywood sheets for the eves. The rest of the home was shingled per our color choice; they did remove the skylights. When the crew was done, any residual yard waste was recovered and thrown out. Green Built Exteriors did a great job for our 27yr home. Thank you.

Green Built is a fantastic company for an affordable price. Their quote was much better than all of their competitors but with the same if not better quality roof. We had them install a new roof on our house in Puyallup. The installers accidently damaged our gutter, and Green Built fixed it for free. Not only did they make the situation right by fixing the gutter, they replaced all of our gutters so that everything matched! There is a difference between "getting the job done" and "doing the job well" and they got it down to a science. If you're looking to do business with a company that cares about their customers, Green Built has you covered.

Wow, what a GREAT job! These people did an outstanding job with my new roof. The guys who installed the roof were very friendly, polite and professional. The owner of the company came to do a bid on my house with, I might add, the best bid, was overall intelligent and offered a great deal compared to all these other crazy bids. He knew exactly what needed to be done AT THE BEST price. I usually don’t write reviews but I was so impressed with the roof and the professionalism that I HAD to write a review. Julian gave us friendly, businesslike, professional information. I chose Green Built because I liked the product--zinc and copper infused shingles which will repel moss. Also because they are into recycling. AND they have very competitive pricing. He looked for every possible discount we were eligible for. On the day of the roof replacement, a crew of 4 workers arrived and they got the whole job done in one day! They cleaned up very well into a big dumpster. When we found something that needed correcting, they sent two workers out and fixed any issues that we had. Green Built really does stand behind their workmanship, and our roof looks very nice!

Green Built Exterior's team of roofers came out on a Saturday morning promptly on time. I was at home the entire time they worked. I don’t think they hardly exchanged any words, they just worked full-throttle the whole time they were there. They were respectful of our home, and of our neighbors and to me. They cleaned up all the roofing debris, which included sweeping, and blowing. And they completed the job before the rain fell that night. They did a commendable job. I would recommend them to others and would not hesitate to use them for future roofing jobs.

I had these guys come out and check some rotted trim board.

Rather than not wanting the work (not a big money job) they told me a price - stuck to it and don’t fabricate more of an issue.

I know what they thought was a simple job was more of a PIA than they wanted - but they were quick and responsive.

I will definitely consider them when looking to replace my roof. And would have them out again in a minute.

We are excited for them to install our new roof. Scott gave a no pressure informative presentation. I LOVE that they recycle all of the old roofing materials!
