Our MH was running rough w/check engine light. We got it there & limped in early in the am. Told them we were passing through & they jumped right on it. Got it fixed, took it out & road tested it & even wiped up all the wet, muddy footprints from the rain. While its never fun to have unexpected repair costs, they were professional, quick & didn't gouge us on price. Well done team!

In April 2024 we were retuning home to MN after RVing in Florida when our 2016 Class A RV Ford V10 engine developed a real serious problem. The RV was towed to Graves Automotive for diagnosis and the problem evaluated within a few hours. The engine had some real serious internal damage that required replacement. A Ford remanufactured engine was ordered and installed in about three weeks. The job required removal of all the fiberglass below the windshield and three radiators in order to get at the engine for removal and replacement. I picked up the RV and drove it 1300 miles back to MN without one problem. After getting back to MN I did a lot of checking in the engine compartment top and bottom to make sure nothing was overlooked or leaking. Not one problem. I was very concerned about the front fiberglass below the windshield getting damaged during removal and require repainting. No scratches or dings. The cost of the engine replacement was very reasonable considering the amount of labor and complexity of the job. Malcomb(owner) kept me informed as work on the engine replacement progressed and even arranged someone to pick me up at the Birmingham airport and transport me south to Graves Automotive. Best serviceI I have ever had on a vehicle or RV.

Malcolm Graves and his team are exceptional even with the unexpected. We had an issue with a boat trailer that made hauling it anywhere unsafe. After a late night call to Malcolm's voicemail, he promptly called my husband the next morning and assured him that they would get it fixed. They had a good laugh at my spirited voice mail that I left in the midst of the breakdown. The guys at Graves Automotive have worked on our 1971 Airstream also and they always have a smile, laugh, or story to share. Great guys! Great service!!

Really reasonable and good service this is the only place I take my RV to get work done on it.

Tried settling this with the establishment before leaving this review. Brought my car here for rear main seal and axle boot repair. After picking up my car the second time and just having it detailed from washing the mud out from the fender wells, tires, and wheels that was not there when I left my car. I noticed a different lug nut in the location where the axle boot was replaced, and also some abrasions to the rear bumper. I called this establishment to ask if anything was said about the abrasions and the lug nut. Since nothing was advised to me when I picked it up either time, Jake said nothing was mentioned to him about either. Stating "he would have told me and he said nothing about it, must of happened somewhere else". This car is not my every day driver and doesn't have 20 miles since the out mileage stated on the invoice. Just another shade tree shop to take advantage of women. Fix it Jesus!

They were super nice. Worked on my 1998 Ford explorer. Called when other problems detected a n d let me know and ask if I wanted them fixed, unlike other places who would fix N charge you.
I would certainly use them again.

Imagine this if you will.A Camper Service company that actually likes Customers! I know hard to believe but these are good hard working People whom care about you as a person. This is our choice for all of our Camper needs.I look forward to having car serviced there soon as well.

Came here today because my car has been experiencing a misfire and i was so afraid to take my car to the dealership where they would charge me an arm and a leg. Searched the nearest mechanic with good reviews and Graves was the lucky go. The manager, Jake was so friendly over the phone and took care of everything! I will definitely support this business in the future with any issues i experience with my car!

Amazing!!! We had a mechanical emergency while traveling during the holidays. They got us right in, accommodated us, even offered to bring us lunch while waiting! We were back on the road from start to finish in 3 hours!

I have never been one to use a mechanic to work on my vehicles. But if I do. I will always use Graves. They are honest, hardworking and friendly.

I had hurricane damage to my RV from hurricane Ada a year and a half ago. The roof to a direct hit from debris and caused a leak. The inside sustained water damage in the bathroom. Malcom and his crew was where I ended up taking my Class A RV. Malcomb showed confidence right off the bat the he could repair it. It took a little while, but that is because they were very meticulous about their work. I drove 60 miles to him and it was well worth. They did an EXCELLENT job. I was very pleased for the work they did. They are great people too, which it is hard to find a person much less a business that goes out of their way for people like they did. Congratulations to Malcom for running a great business and having such skilled people working for him. Thank you again! I wish you nothing but continued success. Also I am sorry but I forgot your cousins name but thank him too please. He does incredible work. Give him a raise!

Took my car there on a recommendation of someone else to have a evaporator put in my air conditioning, they broke a piece of the dash and wanted me to pay to have it fixed. I thought that's what insurance was for, still didn't get it fixed bc I didn't have $200 dollars.

Totally recommend! Our car broke down on the highway while we were trying to get to our family vacation destination… the tow truck took us here and they worked us in to their very busy schedule so we could get back on the road as quickly as possible! Great customer service! We really appreciate them!

friendly staff and courteous, work was performed on my truck as they said and at a reasonable price would recommend if you own a diesel especially a ford 7.3 Graves has the mechanics to repair.

Our RV broke down on I65 we called several RV repairs but none could fit us in. The guy that picked us up to tow the RV suggested Graves . We followed his suggestion & we were so thankful! Malcolm & crew were Great to work with. He didn’t know us but treated us with kindness, respect & had our RV repaired the next day! He is an extremely good mechanic! He was God sent to us!!!

This is the place to go for RV repairs. I cannot believe how incredibly knowledgeable!!!!! They fixed our RV first time (doesn't bear remembering how many other places we've been to!). Malcolm understands RVs and all their little idyosyrancies.

We had to take our jeep here because Walmart messed up the oil plug. Malcolm was super sweet and friendly. They ordered us a brand new oil plug and we had barely a leak out of it the rubber washer isn't holding up so we took it back , he looked at it and told us he was ordering yet another brand new oil plug. Just bring jeep back at our convince. I usually don't use mechanic shops but I highly recommend graves automotive. They take great care of their customers and their cars.

We were traveling last night from Cleveland TN headed to Destin FL for our vacation. We experienced a major blowout which also ripped all propane and electrical wires. After 2 hours of changing the spare tire out, we decided to stay the night at a hotel off the exit. We noticed a local RV shop right beside the hotel. The next morning after being turned away by 1 dealer and shot down on the phone by 4 other RV dealers, we were finally given the name of a gentleman that had an Auto/RV repair shop. From the very first phone call we knew we had contacted a good person. Malcomb and his team went over and beyond to get us back on the road. He had 3 guys running to grab supplies and working very hard for 11 hours straight. After being turned down by all the “Well known” dealers, now we firmly believe in the small town business customer service. We can not thank this company enough. They stayed 3 hours past closing to take care of our family. I would highly recommend this wonderful and super friendly staff for all your Auto/RV Repair needs. Thank you Malcomb and team for a world class experience. You were able to turn what could have been a disaster, into a wonderful vacation.

While they work on everything automotive, they are exceptional with diesel repair and service. They repaired economically a runnability issue the dealer couldn't fix.

Great repair center. Took in an older VW beetle that no one else in the area could (or wanted to) work on. Got it repaired and running again for us.

Excellent repair facility. Malcomb is a one of a kind mechanic. Honest, dependable, quick and most of all truly cares for his customers. He has stayed late several times for us for quick repairs. I have recommend him to several people and I will continue to do so. A+
