We got off to good start and Ivan installed a decent wood floor and baseboard. However he suddenly lost interest in the remaining work and abandoned my project mid-stream with no viable excuse, no warning of intent and deceptive answers. The sanding/ painting work was B grade quality and instructions weren't followed. The delay caused a loss of at least 2 months investment income and ultimately I had to find someone else to complete the work. Ivan never apologized. I found his behavior unprofessional and would not recommend Gotham City Builders. My mistake for selecting off the internet. Always get a trusted referral, especially with contractors.

Do not hire Gotham City Builders / Ivan Lopez. Horrible experience. Lied to us consistently, stretched an 8 week minor renovation into 8 months, was only responsive when he wanted more money, and Ivan still hasn't delivered over $20,000 of materials and labor that we paid for. Nightmare working with him.

Ivan is a master at wha the does the work is amazing good crew behind this company. we did couple of jobs for him as subs I would say very satisfied once work is completed the money is right there will definitely continue to do business with Ivan.

Gotham City Builders just completes two projects on our home and all I can say is that Ivan and his crew are amazing. From our first meeting to the contract signing to the work’s completion, Ivan explained what would be done, the materials they would use and how long the job would take. The crew was terrific - arriving on time every day ready to go. At the end of the work day, everything was cleaned up and we were shown what was done and what was left to do. Ivan was always available for questions and promptly answered emails or calls.

Their work was first rate. We’ve used other contractors and have never received the quality service we received from Ivan.

I would recommend them without hesitation and look forward to working with them again!
