Got Rot gave us an alternative which only consisted on replacing the beams and pillars! They did an incredible job, managed to complete it within 8 days, and gave us a very competitive price. After reviewing several highly rated companies we went with Got Rot to replace an outward facing deck and staircase. We could not be more impressed with the entire process and final result. I discovered dry rot in my condo as I was preparing to sell it. I needed someone to remove the dry rot and repair the damaged sections of floor and wall. Got Rot? was available to provide an estimate and do the work right away, and they did the work efficiently and expertly.

I had a generally positive experience with Got Rot. Eric and Steven, while not the most meticulous or highly skilled workers, impressed me with their great attitude, willingness to accommodate my needs, and genuine sincerity. They are obliging and earnest, which made working with them pleasant.

Communication with Darik and his team was smooth, making coordination easier. Special credit to Mark for his great patience and thoroughness in answering my questions during the prospecting phase.

One area of disappointment was the miscommunication regarding the deck slope—the agreed 4% wasn’t achieved. However, I appreciate that they took the effort to correct it to at least 2%.

Overall, while there were some execution issues, their positive attitude and willingness to make things right stood out.

Had rotten/delaminated fascia and leaky gutters on our house. Got Rot installed new flashing at the roof edge, new fascia with matched paint, and new gutters. It looks really good! They were reliable/timely when it came to getting a quote and getting the work done. Darik did a great job keeping me informed from start to finish. Very professional work! They did an amazing job: on-time and professional when giving the quote, answered all my questions and updated quote as I clarified items, scheduled to come out within a few weeks, crew was EXCELLENT and very professional, paused their work to answer questions and give updates whenever I checked in, were VERY responsive to feedback and any adjustments I wanted, handled curveballs like me ordering the wrong size door like it was nothing, kept the worksite clean and safe for our dog every day...
Literally a PERFECT experience! I'll be calling them for any future rot we inevitably discover while renovating our home, and they even do other remodeling!

I found Got Rot in the Costco parking lot and got there # from there truck. I called and talked to Mark he was table to come out the next days and look at my problem. I had to have new beams and support post to hold up my roof above my Deck . the bid was very reasonable, the crew was Avener Artem, and Erik they were professional and polite, they got the job done on time and they cleaned up after each day I will use them again.

Not long ago, we discovered a substantial amount of structural dry rot underneath our enclosed deck, as well as other areas along other outside walls. We interviewed four companies for our project. After reviewing and questioning, we settled on Got Rot as our contractor. Discussions with Mark put together a plan for dealing with our problems. We recently had the pleasure of working with Got Rot to build both our front and back decks, and the entire process was excellent. Got Rot did an amazing job with replacing rotten siding and redoing my balcony. They were extremely transparent and responsive from the beginning to the end. Mark, Darik, and the entire crew from Got Rot did an excellent job with our front porch repair, and we couldn't be happier! We have an older home with a craftsman-style front porch that had been modified in years past because of additional living space that was added via a basement expansion underneath. There were water drainage and moisture issues with the prior porch design that contributed to areas of rot around structural members and siding, as well as damage to the decking membrane. We called several contractors to obtain quotes, and Mark K. from Got Rot was the most responsive, easiest to communicate with, and most thorough during the estimate process. He listened and accommodated our concerns for a new design, provided great detail in his estimate with fair pricing, and was diligent about following up without pressure.

Once we decided to move forward, their process was organized and efficient for scheduling the work. We were introduced to the larger crew prior to repairs beginning which was a nice way to feel comfortable about who was going to be working on our home.

They estimated a total of 2 weeks to complete the entire project, and they were right on time! Their work ethic was apparent from day one. We were very impressed at the work schedule they kept, their thoroughness, quick progress, and quality of the work overall. They were also great at communicating and detailing a few minor areas of additional rot that were discovered during the demo process (which they had given us the heads-up about during the estimate). The additional work was fair and necessary, and there were no surprise costs during the entire project.

Got Rot built a new deck for me. They were professional, and courteous. They are easy to work with. I changed the design of the railing for the staircase during the build, and it was not a problem for them to change to the new design. I am completely satisfied with the deck they built. My girlfriend and I recently purchased a house. During the inspection, we were alerted to some rot in the exterior walls that needed to be repaired. We met with several different companies to discuss the repairs and get quotes. The folks from got rot seemed the most thorough and professional also their price was reasonable, so we went with them. And we were very happy with our decision. Not only did they repair our rot, but we also had them rebuild the fence around the back yard and clean off our roof.

Throughout the whole process they were very responsive and easy to communicate with. They were flexible as we had to make a few changes to the scope of the work throughout the project. They got the job done quickly and worked around our schedule.

In the end, there is no sign that there used to be rot on our walls and the fence looks great. We would work with them again.
