Great service, very knowledgeable. Luckily I had no problems with my water heaters. I was surprised that I was not charged. Talk about customer service. Will be using them in the future.

This week, Paul and Mason from Goodbee listened to our needs and devised a money-saving plan of attack.

Like seasoned detectives, they dove headfirst into a mysterious gurgling pipe, unraveling clues like a Sherlock Holmes in Carhartt bib overalls.

After a thorough investigation, they unveiled the culprit – what should have been a 4-inch diameter pipe opening was actually a tiny hole the size of a quarter.

Imagine trying to drop your kids off at the pool, but they must first squeeze through a small hole before diving in. Your chubbier kids may get stuck when a lifeguard is off duty. Scary to think, I know.

Paul and Mason identified the issue 140 feet from our house and suspected it might lie beyond our property line. Instead of cashing in on our misfortune, they selflessly advised us to contact the City for further investigation. Talk about honesty and integrity. Paul even offered to return the next day to meet with the City employees.

Sure as Schlitz, after chatting with the other heroes from Public Works, we discovered that the issue had to do with the main line from the City's sewage system to our property.

Next time you have a conflict between your pipes and, you know, your number two, poop, dookie, brownies, logs, or droppings – make sure to call Goodbee Plumbing.

Goodbee Plumbing does not operate efficiently or effectively. Appointments take a week to schedule. We called for assistance mid- December and were told someone would come on 12/29. Once the initial site visit was completed, it took a few days to receive a written estimate. Once the estimate was accepted we were told that it would be two weeks before they could come out and perform the work. The work was then scheduled for 01/24/2024.
On 1/24 the technicians came to the house. When they got out of the service vehicle they said we are here to give you an estimate and take photos of the work to be done.
My husband quickly told them that we had already accepted the estimate and were expecting them to complete the job. They had no record of any estimates or work requested. Scott, the owner, had made the initial visit. They said they would call their office and get back to us with an update.
By now, we have not had hot water for two weeks, we followed up and called the office that afternoon. Kim told us that it was her mistake she failed to write the work order and was certain Scott had ordered the part. Hmmmm We will call you tomorrow morning once we look on Scott's desk for it.
This did not make sense that you ordered the part when you sent someone to write an estimate today.
The next day at 10 am we had not heard from Goodbee. My husband called them AGAIN. Sorry, there is no part on Scott's desk. He is out of town and we will have to get back to you. We can fix it when it is convenient for you. That was yesterday the day we scheduled the work and took off to be home. that was convenient.
To this day,01/26/2024, we have not heard back from them.
Thankfully, we had another plumber that we called and within less than 24 hours he had our hot water problem solved.
I would not suggest Goodbee Plumbing to anyone. They do not communicate well, record keep, or follow up with their customers.

I was expecting a sewer backup. When Cody got here he was very personable. After I explained to him what was happening, he checked the disposal and was sure it was jammed and that's what was causing the water back up. After unjammimg the disposal he checked the clean outs, double checked the dish washer, the washing machine and toilet to make sure all were draining well. I was so happy it wasn't a sewer back up after all. I will use Goodbee's again.

As per usual, Goodbee has done an excellent job they were on time and Andrew resolved the issue pretty quickly and gave us all the information needed if the problem persists. The call out fee was not ridiculously high either. great service for a great price.

I rarely leave reviews but felt compelled to do so today. This morning I called Goodbee to help us with a clogged drain in our bathroom sink. From the time I called to the time a technician arrived and fixed the issue, it was less than 40 minutes! And today was Saturday! Thank you Goodbee, we will definitely use you again if needed.

Quoted job, came out and verified price of job and then doubled the price mid job leaving without an option . Never again.
Response to you: your employee came out and looked at the job before he started and verified the cost. He is the professional not me. I was left without any option and your price of almost $500 to replace the flange and install my toilet which took less than an hour total was unacceptable.

They came out on a Saturday, within two hours of my call and had the problem resolved in a matter of minutes!

They were very quick, professional and reasonably priced.

If it ever happens again I will just call them on day one instead of wasting 3 days trying to fix it myself first. :)

Goodbee Plumbing ftw they never disappointed me in comparison to other Plumbing services I have used thus for on the Northshore.

We needed to have a new Gas line installed at our church. The owner came out and did an assessment of the problem. He was very professional and kind. He took the time to explain everything in a way that we could understand. The price was fair. The office staff was awesome and very patient with me. When it was time for the techs to come out, they were on time and they were very nice and respectable young men. They did an excellent job. This company is definitely a 5 star company and I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Goodbee Plumbing.

When I called in to request a service call, the office personnel were very professional and attentive. A Tech came out in short order and handled our issue. We will be happy to call Goodbee again and to recommend them.

Goodbee plumbing went the extra mile for me during a toilet crisis. Derrick was here within an hour to diagnose the problem. We decided to scope the drain to make sure the problem wasn't in the walls before he reseated the toilet. Cade came a couple of hours later and scoped the line and installed a new toilet. Both Derrick, Cade and the office staff were very professional and wonderful to deal with. Having owned a service company for decades, I couldn't have asked for better service. Don't learn from your mistakes, call Goodbee first.

This is my 2nd or 3rd time using Goodbee Plumbing. They fit me into their busy schedule the same day I called. They repaired my water heater for a very fair price. I highly recommend them!! Very professional, friendly, and accommodating!!

Brandon was so knowledgeable and super friendly. He explained everything to me to help me not be so afraid of my gas fireplace . He got my fireplace working and my outside lanterns. Highly recommend Goodbee plumbing.

I don't know what the formula for getting this company to actually show up is. Requested service was given a date several days out, then no one showed up or called. Gave the benefit of the doubt because the mardi gras freeze of 2021 was going on. Was given a dispatch time and date for 48 more hours out. Had a pipe break from the cold in addition to first plumbing problem. No call no show on scheduled date and time, in fact I was put on a waiting list because I added a broken pipe. End of day comes, still no plumber. Office personnel got nasty about telling me they "might be out Monday" (i guess they don't work weekends.). Found another plumber (called and dispatched in less than hour)
So good luck in figuring out the right combo of getting a goodbee plumber.

Very good experience. It started with my phone calls, three times. Each time I spoke to someone who was pleasant and sounded like they enjoy their job. When the service men came they were pleasant and professional. My specific need was fairly easy so they were quick for me. I wish they could have come sooner, but they apparently are busy and I chose to wait so that's on me. Their service fee for 2 guys was very reasonable in my opinion. Derrick and Donovan were good. The rating is based on professionalism and them doing what they said when they said they would.

They were great from the phone call to the next day visit. They made no assumptions, and they helped me with the price given it was a lot less work than originally anticipated. Highly recommend.

Called them on a Sunday night left a voicemail that I needed a plumber as soon as possible. Didn’t hear from them, called back the next day about noon. Explained again what I wanted. Woman who answered the phone indicated she didn’t even listen to the previous nights emails and couldn’t get to me for the rest of the week. I understand being busy but at least listen to your voicemails and respond. I wasted half a day trying to locate a plumber to fix my problem.

I can't recommend Goodbee Plumbing highly enough. We've had a somewhat recurring plumbing issue and I had used a warranty plumber two previous times but the issue never went away. I called Goodbee and the office was able to fit us into the schedule that day. Paul came out and wouldn't stop until he figured out our issue. Happily we think the issue lies on the City's end but we would have never known without the great service from Paul.

We have used Goodbee Plumbing several times for our managed rental properties! Called on a Saturday, no extra charge for Saturday call, Kim was very professional and said someone will be out soon. Shortly afterwards, Frank found the problem and resolved it immediately.
