We have NEVER experienced more competent, talented, hardworking craftsmen than we did with Alex and his team!! We had a huge project re-siding our 1800’s hay barn. This team is AMAZING! It was cold and windy and the cement board we used was HEAVY! This crew showed up early every morning and stayed until dark. You hardly knew they were here, just so competent and worked so well as a team. Their attention to detail is impeccable and they ran into plenty of complicated areas with this old barn’s windows and doors and old slate roof, but they never complained and just made things work! This review is so long over due! In early October, 2024, Alessandro, his foreman B and the team of skilled artisans who worked on my roof in Philadelphia went above and beyond to ensure our roof gutter and fascia remediation was nothing less than perfection. The crew worked tirelessly and impressively rapidly over a period of 3 days. When an unexpected disaster was found beneath a prior (shoddy) poor roof job, the team worked with us to find the best solution. Communication was top notch. We had been quoted twice as much to deal with only the front of the house (only 1 side). Golden Labor completed the whole house for 1/2 as much for the entire home (3 sides of the main house, 3 of an addition). Even with the unexpected issues, they still managed to stay within our original estimate. I truly felt like this business treated us like they were working on a family member's house! They also left our property cleaner than it was prior to arriving despite the massive overhaul and demo needed. Alex and his crew were fantastic! Upon commencing the work they were on site every day working hard on our front and back porches and completing finishing touches around our new construction house. What a fantastic crew of guys. They showed up early stayed late for weeks and did an absolutely masterful job restoring wood siding and wonderful details on my 1915 colonial in Bloomfield. They are literallly master craftsman. The owner matched and rebuilt architectural details that made our place really shine, the restored and new cedar shakes were expertly matched by them. All of the detailed that I know about and many that I didn’t were cared for as if it was their own house. I can’t say enough good things about this companies work, and they couldn’t have been nicer. You will be lucky to have them on your next project.

Alex and his guys installed the roof and siding to an addition on my summer home ten months ago. When I began installation of a new kitchen, the subfloor in the addition was damp. And after repairing the area, he won't accept payment.

The owner, Alex, was very honest and presented us an open book on material and labor. The cost, change orders and schedule were under very tight control by Alex’s consistent update and communication.
