I have never submitted a review but the exceptional five star service I received from Giordano Restoration warrants it! We found we had a water leak behind our living room wall where he found mold, this from our leaking chimney into our finished basement, which lead to finding asbestos in the flooring. What a mess! It was overwhelming trying to navigate through the process but Gary (owner) was so knowledgeable and a pro he helped us through filling the insurance claim, referred contractors, he did it all. And his crew is just as experienced. They were always courteous, punctual and their attention to detail & organization skills were just amazing! Gary and crew were so professional yet friendly and trustworthy, I felt like I had family in my house while they worked. So quick to respond-fantastic communication skills, honest and helpful-I highly recommend them for anyone with a water mitigation need, asbestos or mold removal or septic backup cleanup-he helped us with it all this year. Wow where to start… first of all I want to say that Gary and his crew are amazing. I called Gary because I found mold/water damage in the house and was so desperate because I had a 2-week old newborn baby. I called on a Saturday and explained the situation, he said he would come over Monday, but when I told him I had a newborn he said he would be over in an hour to assess the problem. He immediately sealed the areas affected and ran some equipments to help with humidity in the house. The work was done quick and left the house feeling fresh and clean. I had no worries about the mold once they had finished their work. Gary was a very understanding and helpful guy when it came to knowledge about the home and helping us build an insurance case for the damage. I can’t say how thankful we are, and how great of a job him and his crew did.

I hired Gary and his team for mold mitigation in my basement and attic. They were very responsive and professional. Once the work was completed the spaces were incredibly clean and, most importantly, clear of mold. I could not be happier with the work performed.

On a reference from a dear friend of ours, we called in Gary to look at some tile in our basement that we wanted to know if it contained asbestos or not. While he was assessing that, he found a mold problem lurking. This initial meeting to assess possible asbestos turned in to almost a year together.

Gary and his team found mold in several areas of our house from previous water damage. He also found asbestos in our drywall while trying to take care of mold and water damage issues. His team got quick to work assess what needed to happen and give us a timeline.

I can’t say enough good things about Gary and his team! We had a lot of water in our partially-finished basement due to a faulty AC condensation drain. I could not be happier with the job Gary and his team did. My basement was a swimming pool and Gary came out within a couple of hours of my call, pumped everything out and dried it out. He and his team then proceeded to remove all the damaged items, including walls, after which the cleaning began. I can say that my basement was the cleanest room in the house. He made very sure that there would be no concern for mold growth. Testing for mold made sure of that, and had proven my basement extremely clean and most importantly, safe. Giordano restoration was recommended by a close family when my home incurred water damage as the result of roofing ice dams. Gary and his team responded quickly and went to work assessing the damage which, upon initial inspection, seemed to be isolated to one room. However, upon completion of Gary's assessment, and his recommended for air quality testing, it turned out that all but 1 room of the 7 bedroom, 3.5 bath home was impacted and the mold was not only substantial it was toxic.

Gary was called in by my insurance adjuster because she suspected a mold problem. When he came to the house, he sat with us and explained exactly what he was going to do. He proceeded to inspect the basement, the first floor, the second floor, the attic and the roof. Once completed, he came back and sat with us again and explained what was required to remediate our problems and there were many problems. Without getting into details, let me say that the problems were such that we had to move out of our house for six months while Gary orchestrated the job. He hired contractors for the roof, the siding, carpentry, ceiling and wall work, carpeting and painting. While his specialty is mold abatement, Gary is well versed in all aspects of home repair and the contractors he hires are top notch. On top of all that, Gary and his crew were terrific and exceptional. The only thing we had to do was move into a hotel and Gary even loaded the items we were taking with us in his truck and brought them to the hotel. Gary was great. We had a mold inspection done (the inspector did not do a good job) which found elevated mold levels in the air. We found Gary online and had him come down to look at the house and give an estimate. Gary was very punctual and extremely professional. He did his own inspection (much more thorough than our actual mold inspector) and he didn’t find much visible signs of mold problems. We believed it to be our air duct system which had recently been poorly cleaned by another company. He thought that could be the case and recommended a great duct cleaning service as well as a different mold inspection service. Both of those companies did a fantastic job. In the end we didn’t have to use Giordano restoration but Gary looked very closely at our house, helped us find companies that do the work right, and really listened to our concerns. He cared about the issues we were having and wanted to ensure we get it fixed, even if it was by him. I highly recommend his services.
