Gilliam Construction was great at communicating & patient while i found the beams i wanted for the project. They offered a fair price for the work & their guys were polite, professional, very conscientious and thorough with the work they did. I'd highly recommend them.

Gilliam was completely professional in the remodeling of my master bathroom. The quality of the work was top notch and I would definitely use them again.

Called and made an appointment to get an estimate on a rebuild. John came out, said I was going to get an email. It’s been over 2 weeks with no response! I even emailed back just for a follow up…no response. I’m guessing my rebuild was too small for their business.

Gilliam just completed a few projects in our home and we are very happy with the work they did! Everyone we interacted with was professional and kind, and clearly cared about their work. They offered a very reasonable quote, and as small things came up or we requested changes, they were happy to accommodate us and clearly communicated any resulting increases in cost. The subcontractors they recommended for flooring and cabinetry were fantastic and did a great job. The work was done in a timely manner as well. If we have future projects for our home, we will be calling Gilliam again. Great folks!

I had Gilliam Construction recess my subfloor in the bathroom as well as handle all the plumbing, vanity, and electrical work. The result was stunning.

They even spent extra time, making sure the inside cabinets were cut neatly to fit the new drain requirements to code.

I'm looking forward to working with them again on my next project currently.

We recently had Gilliam Construction perform construction work in the crawl space of our new home and are really impressed with everything. They responded to all of our emails and calls, were upfront and trustworthy. They started on the day they told us they would start, and they finished the job in the expected time frame also. Their crew is very friendly, and every day explained to us what they were doing and let us know the progression of the job, etc. We highly recommend them!

Fantastic team at Gilliam Construction! John the estimator definitely sold the company and sold me the job. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and conveyed great confidence that the Gilliam team could get the job done well. Zach handled the demo and construction very professionally, answered questions along the way and was very friendly and informative. I enjoyed watching him finish the interior work with pride in his craftsmanship. Gilliam subcontracted Nevada Stucco for some stucco work and they too did a great job. I even had an occasion to talk with the owner, Jake Gilliam, and found him to be honest and determined to ensure I was very satisfied with the work completed. Gilliam is now my “go to” construction company and I don’t hesitate recommending them to anybody in need of some work.

I needed some roof repairs and Gilliam Construction quoted with a fair price (lower than another roofing company). Their communication was consistent when updating me as to the status of ordering the tiles and scheduling the repairs. Everyone, especially Jake, has been fantastic. I will be calling them again.

Everyone at Gilliam was extremely helpful and professional. High quality work. They did an incredible job on our house remodel. We had the kitchen, 2 bathrooms and most of the floors in our house done. Great communication throughout, stuck to their time schedule. Also had an excellent companies they contracted work out to. D&L Tile, Quality Countertops and Master Flooring.
I’d call them for any other remodel or contracting needs in the future!

At the end of September, 2023, my renter called to let me know of a long term water leak in the bathroom, which required a complete bathroom remodel. I immediately called a construction company I had previously work with. An estimator came out, but I never received an estimate. After calling multiple times for the estimate and still not receiving one, I was forced to find another construction company. Luckily, I found Gilliam Construction. While GC is a newer company, I decided to give them a try. I explained my situation to them and they visited the job site, promptly provided me with an estimate and started the job. Change orders were handle quickly and easily. We are almost at the finish line, just waiting for the shower glass, but so far I am most pleased with their work. Jake kept me in the loop, answered my emails in a timely manner and was honest about timelines. The people they employ were friendly and worked efficiently, taking care not to cause damage to areas they had to walk through. I hope to use GC for future projects.

UPDATE 3/11/2025: Another successful job by Gilliam Construction! 2 bathroom remodels, flooring, painting, and additional closets added. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Every person they sent to our home was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. The work they did was not only great quality, but exactly what I envisioned. We will only be using this company for all future work! Happy happy customer.

When no other contractors in the city were willing to take on the challenge, they stepped up. I hired Gilliam Construction for a job. I needed a soffit for a patio construction that was done by another company a year ago. I had several companies quote the job, but 2 would not even bid the job and 3 of the other companies either outright told me they didn’t want the job or they priced the job so high I wouldn’t have chosen them. Gilliam gave me a quote and they offered a very reasonable price. I thought it would be a very long lead time because it was not a major contract; but they got back with me very quickly and told me when they could get to my job and they stuck with their timeline. They communicated with me very regularly and let me know when, and what, to expect the whole time. I was pleasantly surprised because I’ve not had very good luck with contractors and most lack respectable communication skills. Gilliam also has a fantastic team of workers. The foreman who showed up the first day of the job was very respectful and explained everything and they kept me up to date with all of the days of the project. They completed the project and exceeded my expectations for the quality of work that they provided. I was super happy when they completed, they cleaned up the site to my wife’s standard… “a pretty high bar” and they asked if I was happy with their work. I was very happy with it. With my experience with contractors recently and there have been quite a few, I don’t easily give my recommendation, however, I highly recommend Gilliam Construction because they are men of their words and they do great work.

I can't say enough about Gilliam Construction! Very easy to work with and the communication is stellar. The crew that was here working on my two bathroom remodels were fun to be with. They kept me in the loop and the bid was within my budget. HIGHLY recommend this company and will use them again!!!

We hired Gilliam to do an addition to our home which included a large cover to our existing deck. Every member of the Gilliam team that worked on the job had a good attitude and professional demeanor. They took pride in their work, and the final results show. While the timeline extended due to material availability and weather challenges, the team always kept us well informed on what was happening and never left us or the house in a situation where it was unlivable.

I would gladly recommend Gilliam for any home addition or home remodel job based on my experience.

We had a bathroom remodel and had difficulty getting someone initially. Gilliam came in and they were wonderful. They were spot on for their estimate and very responsive if needed to communicate with them. Their team was professional and did a great job. We love the end result. This was just the type of group we were looking for.

Gilliam Construction just completed our remodel. They created a new home office for my husband, modified electrical to his needs and remodeled one of our bathrooms.

They sent skilled professionals who got the job done with wonderful attitudes, especially when an unexpected glitch or two came up. Glitches like items delivered damaged, and manufacturer issues, which caused a couple of delays.

Gilliam Construction accommodated all with a positive attitude and made what could have been mini-disaster's into just blips in the process.

Devin & Zach are incredible craftsmen who don't miss a detail. Mike, our project manager is great to work with, does beautiful work and made our entire process a real pleasure.
