We hired GAB Construction to restore our siding after removing a leaky roof-level deck. Mark was very responsive and professional over the phone, discussing the project's scope and timeline. On site, Alex was considerate, thoroughly assessed the issue, and was dedicated to completing the job. I was quite satisfied with the quality of their work.

GAB Construction failed to disclose that our patio roof cover project required a permit, and worse, the structure was not built to code. After consulting an architect, we discovered multiple defects that made the structure unsafe—some of which were fundamental mistakes that even the architect found surprising.

When we brought these issues to Mark’s attention, he initially agreed to fix them. However, he expects us to pay for the mistakes his team made, which is completely unacceptable. Further, to fix their mistakes, he insists that we put a new column to support the roof 6-7 feet in front of our kitchen door which is extremely unsightly—nobody in their right mind would pay what we did only to stare at a wood column that is placed right in front of the door.

Given our experience, we have serious concerns about this company’s craftsmanship and integrity. I would strongly caution others before hiring them.

I can't recommend GAB Construction more highly! After discovering water leaks in my kitchen from an unknown source, I researched several companies and connected with GAB Construction.

With rain and showers in the forecast, I was very stressed. What ultimately led me to choose GAB over others was Mark, who took my call. He meticulously and kindly explained the scope of work in detail and provided a very reasonable quote. Our conversation immediately put me at ease, reassuring me that his team would do an excellent job.

The next day, a crew of three arrived and set up an elaborate scaffolding system to access the affected area. After removing the Hardie boards, they identified the leak source, repaired it, conducted a rigorous water leak test, and reinstalled the boards. Many reviews highlight Alex as an outstanding specialist on the team, and I couldn’t agree more! He was systematic, communicative, and attentive throughout every step of the process.

At the end of the day, there were no surprises in the final invoice—everything was as promised.

I will definitely turn to GAB for any future home repair needs.

Alex and his crew did a wonderful job fixing the siding of our house. They showed up on time and very knowledgeable of what they do. They also volunteered to fix our junction box that got cracked during the storm and cleaned up all the debris without asking. Super efficient and unbearable price! Highly recommend!

I contacted GAB construction to help fix a leak and some rot around an improperly wrapped window on the front of my house. I dealt with Mark on the scheduling and Alex showed up to do the work. The crew showed up on time and the repairs were completed the same day and work is high quality.

We recently had a new gable cover, deck and chimney installed by GAB Construction. Mark was our person of contact and was very professional, responsive and answered any questions we had. Alex was very friendly and helped us to choose the size of the patio cover and came up with a beautiful design. Originally we just needed a deck and cover, and Alex recommended that we add a chimney because it would look beautiful with the cover. We fell in love with the idea and design and couldn't pass up the opportunity, especially with the deal that they gave us for adding this on. Their crew was very friendly, hardworking, fast and did a great quality job. The final product looks amazing and we are very happy with the whole experience. We highly recommend GAB Construction.

I am very satisfied with the installation of 3 new windows and shiplap around the fireplace and under the island wall. GAB installers did a great job and they were very clean and organized. Alex recommended the material to use around the fireplace and we are happy we agreed on it because it looks really good complementing the brick fireplace. We hired GAB Construction for a deck and outdoor kitchen with fireplace project. They handled everything from demolition to repairs to siding and even gutters along the way. The no-deposit payment structure was very generous with how quickly they made progress after getting materials. The whole project was completed in about 3 weeks despite some material delays.

Needed to have emergency repair done to the siding and garage. Mark contacted me within 30 minutes of submitting my request on their website. Mark was extremely prompt in giving me the estimate I needed for the insurance company. He kept me apprised of any potential delays to the project. The crew was great. Not only were they efficient, they also treated the house with care and were friendly, courteous, and professional. We hired GAB Construction to get our entire siding replaced and painted. They were one of the three companies we got a quote from and we were very pleased with our selection. Alex, was a joy to work with. He knew exactly what we wanted, professional, responsive to all of our questions and concerns and he was always a step ahead in checking in on the team and the site making sure everything was according to expectation. The material arrived and the team was there to receive the material and carefully sort it out by size in our driveway. They made sure the job site was clean and the material was covered from the rain when leaving the job site. Alex had an electrician stop by to replace our outdoor outlets and even added a couple can lights at our front porch as a complementary. They were very attentive to detail and not just there to finish the house fast. I can comfortably say this was one of the best contractor experience and interactions I have had. Wow! Talk about attention to detail and quality! I would work with this company any day! Reasonable pricing and great communication. Mark is amazing to work with and very knowledgeable.

We had a choice between two companies GAB construction and the other company, not going to name the company.
We hired the other company because the price was 2x less than GAB construction. The other company began the work and demoed two walls of siding and left. The next day I get a call that they would need to raise the price to continue work because the price they gave was too cheap. I was furious on how that could be. I immediately made a decision to fire that company.
The same day I reached out to GAB construction and told them what had happened and made a decision to hired GAB instead. They started work in just 2 days with the material delivery and all.
The company is not cheap but once we started working with GAB Construction we realized that we would have probably ended up paying more with the other company.
I really loved working with GAB construction. They were very professional with getting my new siding installed, and the follow through on things were amazing. The crew did a wonderful job! Even though it took them longer than expected, but they were really devoted to the work in getting the siding installed. I highly recommend using GAB construction.

I contacted GAB on a Saturday to accept their bid to replace some of my LP siding. I was expecting it would be a week or so before they could schedule me in. In fact, they arrived first thing Monday morning and began the work. Most was completed the same day, but there was a bit remaining for Tuesday. Once the work was completed, they did an outstanding job of cleaning up after themselves. I had one additional area on a different part of the house they were going to fix, and that was done by mid-day Wed. Again, completely cleaned up after the work was done.

The finished work was excellent, and everything looked top notch. I wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone needing work done on their home.

I hired GAB Construction to have the deck and soffit replaced on my house and the trim, door, and gutters replaced. The entire process was very thorough, smooth, and completed efficiently. Mark answered numerous texts, and phone calls from me when I had concerns or related questions. The design department was a bonus! I was able to select the project and the colors I wanted for my composite deck. When I met Alex on site the first day to go over my project. He was very helpful and communicated with me throughout the process. Alex knew exactly what needed to be done and has a lot of knowledge in his line of work. Alex suggested a couple options that were not in my budget but at the end I realized that in order to make the deck safe and last a long time this needed to be done. These guys just finished an exterior re-siding project for me, and I couldn’t be happier. I have a 1950s-era home with its original siding and trim, so I expected some surprises (dry rot and other damage) as they removed the old siding and soffit, but that’s why I went with them. GAB does what is effectively a whole-house exterior remodel. Their initial quote is higher compared to the other exterior siding companies, but once you factor in the likely add-on work that the other guys don’t quote, GAB offered a really good value for the money.

Their workmanship was excellent because they paid attention to the details and took the time to do things right the first time. If I noticed some minor issue, they immediately corrected it. And they made tweaks here and there at my request without charging me a change fee. They also did a really good job cleaning up the site after the project, and reseeded my lawn where it was damaged by frequent foot traffic (remember, this was in the middle of winter in Seattle).

As I said at the beginning, I’m thrilled at the results. I got a whole new exterior, an up-to-date look and no worries about the next little exterior thing that has to be fixed or replaced. I highly recommend GAB Construction for your exterior project, whatever it might be.

Great quality work that's going to last. GAB replaced my siding, added a vapor barrier that was not installed, added trim, painted everything, re-decked the front porch and added a nice ceiling, rebuilt the back deck and added a railing and cover. It looks amazing, and I can be sure it won't rot away like my previous deck.

GAB did great work on my leak which required replacing siding, plywood, and interior sheetrock. I was impressed with their work and also ended up hiring them to paint the exterior bottom row of panels.

On-site inspection was completed within a day of me contacting them, and I had the estimate by the end of the day. The estimate was definitely reasonable. I’ve frequently had estimates be delayed with contractors, so the responsiveness was a pleasant surprise.

They came out the next day and started the repairs. They had to work late for two days in a row to get the repairs completed before the heavy rain moved in.

Very happy to have found a contractor that is responsive and does quality work, and I will be hiring them in the future.

And what great suggestions they were: putting in shingles at the entryway and adding pine soffit with 3 lights above our front door was a huge bonus.
