My husband and I have had a long-standing working relationship with Glenn and G&K Roofing.
We had our first roof put on 20+ years ago by G&K, highly suggested by a neighbor.
When a hail storm came through a number of years later, we requested them back for another roof job, along with replacing the siding.
Just recently, we requested them back again to install gutter covers and larger drain spouts.
We’ve continued to utilize this company throughout the years because we have been very satisfied with the prompt work and thorough cleanup done by G&K Roofing each and every time.
Glenn is very communicative and takes the time to answer any questions and explains the job in detail. He inspects every aspect of the job to make sure you, the customer, is satisfied with the work completed.

My Wife and I chose to use G and K Roofing and Remodeling, Inc. for the second time to put a roof on our house. Our G and K Roof was not leaking but we had a contractor put on an addition put on our house 14 years ago and the Brand X roof on our addition started to leak substantially after only 1 – 2 years. We complained to Brand X but they didn’t do anything to help us with their portion of their roof. In 2021, we got bids from three roofing companies. After sitting down and talking with Glenn from G and K Roofing and Remodeling, Inc. we decided to use G and K Roofing and Remodeling, Inc. again to replace our entire roof.
Glenn took the time to meet in person with us and gave us some different cost options. Glenn took the time to answer as many questions as we had. The other two roofing companies did not take the time to sit down and discuss this with us in person. Putting on a roof on your house is probably one of the most important things that you can do to protect your house. If you are going to be in your house for a while yet, and if you care about GETTING THE JOB DONE RIGHT AT A COMPETIVE COST, G and K Roofing is that company. Our roof really looks beautiful and we are totally satisfied with G and K Roofing and Remodeling.

We have used G and K twice. 31 years ago they installed a 25 year shingle roof and they replaced it with a 40 year shingle. Both times we were very pleased with all aspects of the work done. Glen has extensive knowledge of products and procedures. He makes sure you are aware of and understand all work to be done. They had an excellent crew. they showed up on time and did a great on the roof and the clean up. When we compared price, warranty, and the quality of the finished product G and K was the best we had seen . We highly recommend them.

I hired G&K Roofing and Remodeling to do a roof replacement on my home. The whole experience was very positive. The quote was in line with others, and G&K was willing to match any others that were offering a similar shingle. In the end I chose the best they offer and the cost was close to what another contractor quoted for the next step down in shingle from the same manufacturer. Both Glenn and Karen were always very helpful and responsive to all questions and concerns (and I had a lot). My job required extra work to be performed (due to previous roof replacement not addressing venting issues) and the crew took care of it to get the job done correct. I am confident I now have a quality roof done correctly, which was my primary goal, and the reason I chose G&K over the others I got quotes from. I would recommend G&K be someone you talk to if you need some work done.

It was a pleasure working with G and K Roofing. G and K's owner provided detailed explanations before the work and carefully monitored the work progression. The crew was very conscientious and friendly. Replacing a roof is not something one does very often and can be daunting but the G and K's owner was supportive and made the process go smoothly, addressing any hiccups or concerns as the work progressed. The scheduling was perfect for my needs and all work was completed on time. The roof looks great!!

We needed to replace of our shingle roof and sought bids from a number of area companies. We selected G & K because of the wealth of experience they have in the roofing business and because it became evident that they have an attention to detail that would assure that the project was done right. Glenn talked us through each step of the process. He was upfront with us that we may need to have some additional repairs to the wood underneath the shingles. We did have a number of panels that he recommended replacement. We talked through the board replacement and went ahead with the work. G&K’s crew worked tirelessly to complete the project and cleaned up the work site with meticulous care. G&K’s knowledge, attention to detail, and dedication to a job done right came through on the project. We are confident that we now have a roof that looks great and will last for years.

After getting several quotes for my roof I chose G & K because I could tell that they had a massive amount of experience and they really cared about the job being done right. Glen explained to me how much care he takes when choosing his crews and it showed with the work they did. Glen brought me up on the roof to show me some of the issues that needed to be addressed. His crew fixed all the issues and they even moved my insulation around to make sure the roof was venting properly. After the job was done Glen came out to inspect the work and even walked around my property to make sure they did a proper clean up (which they did). The roof now looks outstanding and I have complete confidence the job was done right.

I’m pleased to review G&K Roofing & Remodeling. Around 2004, they re-shingled my roof in the Madison area. My folks, now elderly, needed the roof on their home in Watertown redone. So, 15 years later (2019), I called G&K. I have great confidence in Glen’s work. He is a seasoned professional who takes great pride in providing a top-quality product. I believe that we received a premium-grade job for a very fair price. The “Brownwood” color shingle looks so nice on the home. We are very happy with the new roof and will rest assured knowing it was done right.

G & K Roofing went above and beyond for me. Having never gone through the roofing process before, Glenn and Karen (the owners) were both extremely helpful throughout the process and answered my questions in a way that I could understand. They finished my roof (complete tear off and reshingle) in one day, the crew was efficient and professional, Glenn was there to make sure things went smoothly, and the clean up was immaculate. I would definitely recommend G & K Roofing.

I believe this company has unethical business practices. They pay customers $300 to post 3 positive reviews (1 each on Google, Angie's list, BBB). They also will incrementally extend their warranty 3 additional years if every 3 years you post 3 additional positive reviews. I do not understand why a business would need to implement this practice if they were truly reputable. By doing this, I strongly feel that they are affecting the integrity of the online reviewing system.

G & K Roofing did a good job and they are very thorough. It is apparent that quality is a top priority with their work. My house needed A LOT more work than what we originally anticipated, but there was no way for anyone to know this until the roof was off. Glen stayed with his crew to make sure the job was done right, and even with the extreme amount of extra work, the job was finished in 2 days. I highly recommend G & K Roofing if you never want to worry about a roof leak again.

This review is coming from TERRY BARDEN: G & K replaced the roof on a house I had for Sale. They showed up at the crack of dawn with a large work crew. They began work immediately and worked fast. They were well supervised by the owner of G & K. They finished the work in 1 day. The roof looks great ! G & K did exactly what was contracted for . Glen (the owner) communicated all matters to me and showed his years of experience on how he did the job. I will recommend G & K roofing to anyone.

Roof was replaced on friends house, Dan McGill and it was an outstanding job. Done very timely, professionally and their cleanup was very impressive. Would recommend this company in a heart beat!

We recently had a complete tear off and reroofing job done by G & K. The work was done well and at a very fair price. The problems found were discussed with Glenn before work proceeded and an excellent job was done finishing and cleaning up. G&K Did a wonderful job on my roof. They did a complete tear off. With all new wood done also. The job was completed a month ahead of the date given. They arrived in the morning promptly at 7:30 the time they said the would. Worked through the day no wasted time. Completed the job and did a great job clearing up. Glen walked us through the whole project. And was very professional. On letting us know what we needed. There was no up sealing to make us do more than what was needed. Just a great company to have worked with.

Beautiful roof at a great price! We got estimates from 5 companies and G&K was easily the best. They were honest, timely, and very respectful of my time. I would recommend them to anyone!

I am really pleased with the work these guys do. They were here when they said would be, and they did get the job done in a day, like they said. They were careful with my stuff, and they cleaned up their mess, completely. Glen showed me the bad spots, and we decided what to do about them. He made sure I understood what had to get done, and why. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a roof repair.

WOW! my roof looks great. I couldn't believe they were in and out in 1 day, cleaned the place up better than when they arrived. Glenn was wonderful he explained why we needed additional work and how much it would cost. Really improved our home. Pleasant experience.

Just had G&K finish my roof. The guys did a great job. Two things impressed me most about G&K - 1) Glenn is very honest and explains everything very thoroughly. He's very clear up front about not knowing whats underneath the old roof and that there are always additional costs depending on what is found. But, he will not proceed with repairs until you see them and completely understand what the fix entails and what the charge will be - no "just trust me" here. 2) The crew he had on my roof were very conscientious about doing the roof right. They found several things that were done incorrectly when the original roof was put on that lead to problems underneath and they corrected them all. They also busted their humps to do a good job - they were working last week when it rained off and on and they worked until dark every day and were as concerned about keeping us dry as they were about the roof itself. The yard was a bit of a mess while they were working - but it was cleaned spotless when they were done. Very satisfied.

I chose G&K because they were willing to work with my busy schedule to talk through their estimate and planned repairs when convenient to me. The owner answered all of my questions directly and without a sales pitch. They were able to complete my roof well ahead of schedule and it looks fantastic. I've already recommended them to a friend.

G&K did a fantastic job replacing my roof. They use satellite images to prepare the estimate which results in less wasted materials giving you the best price. The work was done quickly and the crew cleaned up thoroughly. The roof looks great and with the lifetime warranty I don't have to worry about it at all. I can highly recommend G&K for any roofing needs.

I was very happy with my experience with G& K roofing. I was new to the experience and Glenn took the time on multiple calls to explain the process. They were honest, knowledgeable, and thorough. There were no pressures to sign a contract immediately and all concerns were addressed and understood prior to the work being done. Karen was also very helpful and took the time to explain the contract details and information. The job was completed earlier than expected and with detailed clean up. I will choose G & K in the future without hesitation.

G&K Roofing did an excellent job replacing the shingles on my roof. I contacted three highly rated contractors from Angie’s list to request proposals. I selected G&K based on their reputation, experience, price, and because I would be dealing directly with the owners. I had a lot of questions about the roofing proposal, and Glen took the time to answer them all without making me feel rushed. Work started much sooner than I expected, and was completed in a few days. Glen checked in multiple times each day to ensure that the work was high-quality and to discuss any concerns. The roofing crew was polite, conscientious, and obviously knew what they were doing. When the work was done, the crew spent a lot of time cleaning up around the house. The new roof looks great! I highly recommend G&K Roofing.

This heartless company is unwilling to help anyone with special needs. My father needs to have a new roof installed and because he has early stage dementia and I asked for the estimate to be sent to me via email. (We have the money to pay cash immediately for the deposit and the balance upon completion) They have recently informed me that they have "Elected to Pass" on this job due to possible inconveniences with me being out of state. My sister and her husband live with my father and are more than capable of monitoring the job site and relaying any pertinent information to me should the need develop.

They were supposedly highly rated and recommended but it still It took this company three days to even return my call which is very typical of most fly by night roofing company's.

It's very funny that their solicitations show Warnings and Cautions to protect yourself from other FAKE companies when it seems to me that the only thing fake is their integrity! I hope you never have family that gets ill and needs to rely on companies like yours for services.
