If I could give no stars that would be appropriate. I had my roof installed by Fred J Smith. Where do I start? The shingles that were installed the worst cheapest thing he could find. My gutters are clogged shut every three months because the shingles just turn to powder. A vent was installed to the tune of more than a $800 charge was not needed - it does not airate anything. It was needed for nothing. On one side of my roof he "gave me" a flat coat for the other half of the roof because it made his life easy of course! Then he refused to finish my job so I had to abate squirrels coming into my home which was over $500. Lastly - yes their is more!!! There was garbage that was left, yes, shingles and all in my attic! I called him back to make it right. He told me I would need to sue him to make it right. I am finally doing that. I hope everyone reads this too as I do not want anyone else getting ripped off by this unprofessional creep. His license should be removed immediately. Please do not do business with him. Go to a reputable place that you won't have headaches and costly home repairs to have to pay for twice!!!

Fred has no people skills whatsoever. He called me very angry because he could not find my address. I explained to him that Google will take you to my driveway, he raised his voice an me and said I should have thought of the fact that not everyone Googles addresses. Then when he finally got to my house he continued his angry loud accusations of my not giving him specific directions the first time we spoke. I suppose he's never been lost before and had to call a homeowner for help. I told him to leave. I couldn't even imagine having a guy like that doing work for me. What if there had been an issue, it would have been a nightmare!

If I could give zero stars I would. Potential customers beware!

If you are Hispanic this is NOT the company to go through. One of the workers for this company just almost hit my car and proceeded to make rude and disgusting comments towards my mother and I, as if the almost accident was my fault. His lights on his truck do not work giving no indication of what he was trying to do. He proceeded to follow us into a restaurant and yell at us, and I did have my toddler with me while this was happening. He then points at us, while speaking to the man he had with him, telling him that my mother and I are the problem with Mexicans. Do with this information what you will, but this is a reflection of the company so they seem to be very unprofessional and rude to work with
