We used Franco Construction to do a few things around our home. We redid our full bath, changed our flooring, needed HVAC work done and added a closet to our son’s room. They did a great job. Tomas and his team were on top of everything and anything we could have brought up. They were on time every day and worked the entire day, sometimes til 7pm. They even worked Sundays to get what we needed done before our son arrived. Any issues or concerns we had were addressed same day or as soon as I reached out and they made sure everything was correct. You will not go wrong using them for your renovations !

They did a total gut of my living room. They did a phenomenal job. Tomas was very attentive to what we wanted. They were great cleaning up after themselves. My husband and I are very satisfied with the final result and love spending time in our new up to date living room. Will definitely hire them for future jobs.

We needed to renovate our main bathroom. Living in a 100+ year old house, we wanted to hire a company that had experience in the nuances that come with an old house. After a lot of investigating, FrancoBuilt fit the bill, and did so under our own budget estimates. Tomas and his crew were terrific in managing the project and the work itself was completed as desired (special shout-out to Albin who did amazing work on so much of the project). Topping it all off, if it wasn’t for one aspect of the project, they would likely have finished the work sooner than estimated – and we thought the original timing was a “pie in the sky” estimate. It wasn’t! We highly recommend Tomas and FrancoBuilt.

I hired them for a small project and seeing the great job they were doing I increased the project to renovating my entire kitchen, all the floors in my home and a brick wall in my living room. We were recommend Francobuilt to remodeled our bathroom. I had limited time to get it done due to work schedule. We met to go over what we wanted to do and after suggestions from both sides, he set the timeline to two weeks. I was pleased, amazed and a bit skeptic. But to my surprise, as soon as we said go, it was none stop for two weeks. He made sure that everyday someone was at the house working on the project. His staff was awesome. Did not have any issues with them at all. Very professionals, trustworthy and on time. He was always in communication as to what was going to happen and what he needed from us in order to finish the project on time. He has great suggestions and he always made sure that we were satisfied with the work as it went alone. Could not be more satisfied with the results. Looking forward to next project.

I hired FrancoBuilt to build an addition to my second floor apartment. After having contacted about a dozen contractors, Tomas was the only builder that helped me find an
architect to draw the blueprints. The project was completed in a little over two months as promised and I’m very happy with the results. My new family room space looks beautiful and modern. Tomas is knowledgeable, calm and detailed-oriented and his workers are very nice and hardworking so I would definitely recommend them. Tomas himself built me a frame for my new electric fireplace which I love and he even installed my new television set on the wall above it.

I want to thank FrancoBuilt Construction for the beautiful kitchen they did for my wife and me. From beginning to end Thomas was there for us to answer questions, and help with the design. Tomas is the best construction man I’ve worked with, like my favorite electrician Mr Tony Piazza. He checks his men’s work, sometimes they miss small things but he fixes it right away. He’s also very fair in pricing what a good man, doesn’t take advantage of home owners.
Tomas is calm, thorough, helpful and professional. I was demanding and he worked with me. It was a big project and he delivered! Outstanding work!
He is now my go to construction guy and he knows it.

I have been a homeowner for 15+ years and have had dealt with my share of many rude, ruthless, careless contractors in the past. After dealing with such contractors I've understood the construction business to be a crooked business where it was only about the "money" leaving the homeowner to be very unhappy once the job ended, until I came across FrancoBuilt. I have never come across anyone in this field as professional, genuine and the willingness to help in pleasing the homeowners all all cost.

I first hired FrancoBuilt to reconstruct the full exterior of my home, dreading the process and was ready to face with the usual contractor excuses, delays, no shows to the job site, and lingering on the project for as long as possible. Surprisingly, the job was completed in an extremely professional manner and completed within the agreed timeframe. All team members were very polite and easy to get along with as well Tomas Franco, the owner of the company. Tomas made my husband's and my satisfaction a TOP PRIORITY which was the best part of it all. I refuse to call any other contractor/contracting company after dealing with FrancoBuilt. I highly recommend this company for minor to major repairs. After the exterior project, we then hired the company again to complete a major demo/reno project inside our home and again were left with great satisfaction.

Tomas has done whole house rennovation for me including basement remodeling, basement waterproofing, kitchen and baths gut out rennovation, siding, roofing, flooring, electrical, plumbing, HVAC you name it. If I could give this guy zero stars I would. I hired him to construct a house for me and this guy really did not know what he was doing. I have been in construction for 20 years and I was able to call him out on his mistakes and he still tried to get over on me. If you don't know about construction this guy will definitely try to pull a fast one. Do not trust him.

I have have used FrancoBuilt a couple of times now. The first time was for a remodel of a kitchen and a bathroom. The second time was a complete repaint of my house in preparation for sale. In both cases his team did a great job. Tomas is reliable and shows up when he says he will (which is unusual in Jersey City). For my last job with him, I could not even get other contractors to show up reliably to do the estimates. Tomas both showed up to do the estimate and to do the work.

I really enjoy working with Tomas. He is my go to contractor in Jersey City. He has renovated our bathrooms, floors, front steps, changed our ceilings. When I have emergency, he is there to help me. And he does great work!

I have used Franco Const. for many projects from major renovations of 2 family homes to minor renovations of apts. He has done many bathrooms and many kitchens for me. I have had him do 4 roofing jobs (no leaks)after work unlike other roofers I have used in the past. He is reasonably priced. He does things neatly and in a timely manner. This company is very efficient and professional when it comes to jobs.

When I reached out to a few places for work on my home, Francobuilt was the only one who was able to respond and schedule an estimate quickly. They were also able to schedule the work to be completed within a few days. They came on time and were professional in their work and finished product. We used FrancoBuilt Construction for a gut renovation of a very old bathroom. From start to finish, they were very responsive and punctual. The end result was absolutely beautiful. I was also impressed at how his crew cleaned up every day. After the bathroom was finished, we hired them back to paint two bedrooms and put in crown and base molding. Tomas Franco and the Franco Built team do excellent work. They arrive on time, early in the morning, work all day and leave around 600. They even work weekends if need be to get the job done quickly. My husband and I found Tomas on the internet and asked to see his portfolio. Even better, he took us around to five houses he renovated and introduced us to his former clients who raved about his work. Tomas is affordable and can paint, do floors, new construction, and demolition. We had a wall removed and electrical moved, a closet converted in to a bookshelf, kitchen cabinets painted (4 coats of paint!), new backsplash, walls painted, and countless other small fixes that we needed to do when moving into a new place. We are more than pleased with the results and would strongly recommend Tomas and his team to anyone doing large or small scale work.
